Overview

In Decatur, the Best Western Decatur Inn, Decatur, Texas, is a comfortable North Texas base, with newly remodeled rooms, a microwave, refrigerator, and in-room safe, workspaces with desks, kitchenette rooms, a complimentary hot breakfast, an indoor heated pool and hot tub, a fitness center, and guest laundry. The setting puts the historic county courthouse, the downtown square, and a national grassland close by, with Fort Worth a short drive southeast. Lakes and ranch country spread around the town, and the grasslands and trails offer hiking and riding close at hand. Decatur is the seat of Wise County in North Texas, a ranching town on the highway northwest of Fort Worth. Pink granite gives the 1896 county courthouse the look of the State Capitol over the square, the open prairies of the LBJ National Grasslands invite hiking and riding nearby, and the lakes and ranchlands of the Cross Timbers spread out all around.
