Very very very luxurious and already amazing to walk through. Breakfast is amazing, a massive variety with a very high quality. Also a-la-carte possible. The colonial rooms are very spacious and look amazing and have a great view. Service of the hotel is exceptional and very high level.

Pros: Hotel is very unique and beautiful. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. I really enjoyed the ambien during the breakfast - beautiful pan flute music and a very lovely baby alpaca in the courtyard :-). Highly recommend.

The colonial rooms are very spacious and look amazing and have a great view. Service of the hotel is exceptional and very high level.
Cons: At arrival we receive a number of extra's which are 'standard' included for specific rooms. However the extra's are not as nice as they seem; 25 USD gift card per day for the Spa is not really useful if everything is EXTREMELY expensive. All treatments are even twice as high as you would pay in The Netherlands. Secondly the one free Pisco Sour per person per day; if you don't drink Pisco Sour or don't drink alcohol at all, they are NOT willing to offer in alternative. This is really poor service. Thirdly; free internet (this is standard in ALL hotels in any large city in Peru). Lastly; other activities, if you request the hotel to arrange something you will pay 4 to 6 times as much as when you arrange it by yourself in the city. It was a nice experience, however completely overpriced. Not value for money.

Cons: Our deluxe suite was facing a busy street and our bed was literally shaking from traffic on the street. I actually believed we were experiencing earthquakes until I realized the shaking had to do with the acceleration of buses on street.

Cons: At checkin, Roger sat us down and energetically told us our room was not ready (we were early) and suggested we upgrade. I said no, so he asked me if we "really wanted" the room we had reserved. I explained we were tired from the long trip and asked if he could watch our bags and we would return later. He persisted in excitedly selling the upgrade. At checkout, no one could explain why I was charged 40 dollars more than what was listed on the bill. (The visa receipt did not match the folio) Of course it was the 10 percent charge at checkout that does appear in the booking email. These games were surprising at an spg hotel. .Everyone Was very nice while they created a sense of confusion that (of course) costs the traveler money. (I am sure worse for those who speak no spanish).

Pros: The hotel is a very nice four-star establishment. Very well maintained facilities, and a wonderful friendly staff. It is located on Ave. Sol and across the street from the Central Craft Market and a small park. Ave. It has an excellent restaurant and lobby bar. The facilities are great and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
This area of town seemed very safe to us and we did not hesitate to walk through the area at night.
Overall, I greatly recommend visiting Cusco and staying at this hotel. It really is a very nice place to stay.

Cons: We only had one problem at the beginning. They didn’t coordinate our airport shuttle at the right time so we waited 45 mins at the airport and then we had to take a taxi. But the staff at the hotel apologized for that and also they refunded me the cost of the taxi ride.

Pros: It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel in Cuzco for a few nights. The hotel is in a beautiful building, the staff are excellent, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast the best we’ve had in two months of travelling in South America. Fantastic location too, highly recommended!

We didn’t get any message prior to arrival and we saw at least 2 people checking in while we were waiting for the taxi to go to the other hotel.

Cons: We arrived after a long flight, then car journey. We checked in. Wanted to sleep but needed to eat first. We ordered room service, but after 1 hour we discovered that they just forgotten. We had to wait a further 25 minutes for food that was luke warm and full price. The hotel was good but nothing special at all. The restaurant food was great but the environment was sterile, cold and badly designed. The breakfast was below average. The lounge bar area was badly designed and unwelcoming for many reasons. The shower temperature fluctuate from cold to burn hot.

Cons: The breakfast was good - not great. If you come down late, a lot of it is gone. That said, there are really amazing restaurants in the area for breakfast, also. This is the only criticism.

Cons: They don't have dual temperature control so without AC we were very uncomfortable while sleeping. We opened our window and it does get chilly at night but we were at ground level facing an alley way therefore no breeze. We requested a fan which helped but it was loud.

Cons: The only thing that I didn't like was the wifi reception quality. Maybe it was just my room but I could only get some what of reception near my room door.

Cons: The room we booked wasn’t ready until 7.30pm (we arrived at the hotel at 10am). This wasn’t ideal when we wanted an early night to prepare for the Inca Trail the next day and have an early sleep. We were placed in a downgraded room until this was ready. Once the room was ready it was in the 4th floor and they didn’t offer to help us with getting our luggage up the stairs from the bottom floor. In the end we decided to stay on the bottom floor in the downgraded room due to this inconvenience. We also heard loud sounds all night long from this room and didn’t sleep. Beds were uncomfortable and management struggled to speak English. Location is a bit far out from the main square.

Total bait and switch. The last night there was a gas leak. They couldn't get the technicians until the next morning so they were just going to leave it leaking out. We made the decision to evacuate to a new hotel in the mmiddle of the night.
Oh and it is marketed as a 3 star hotel. It is not even close! More like a 1.5
