Pros: Amazing place! Will stay here again. Can’t go wrong with a belmond.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Beautiful hotel.
Cons: The room was very dry.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Great breakfast and great location. The room was absolutely wonderful.
Cons: Nothing. All was good.
Excellent 8,0
Cons: Overpriced. Rooms very small.
Excellent 9,3
Pros: Location very close to everything Staff was very friendly and helpful Fruit at breakfast was delicious
Cons: Bathroom was very clean however it was not functional at a times specially the shower area Variety of food at breakfast can be improved
Excellent 9,3
Pros: The hotel itself is like a tourism spot, very impressive. And the breakfast is the best one I ever had in five star hotels~!
Cons: The staff is not very friendly when we ask extra questions such as can we leave our bags at reception before check in and can we change the room type etc, though they help us to solve the problem in the end, why not add more smiles?
Excellent 10,0
Pros: A wonderful hotel. Very nicely appointed. The room was so nice. It wasn’t as spacious as maybe another hotel because it used to be rooms for nuns. But it was very comfortable. The staff were very commodating and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices including the menu on each table. The location was five minutes from the main square with many restaurants. We would highly recommend your stay here.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: From beginning to end, the staff at the Belmond did everything in their ability to make our stay wonderful. 5 star service at every corner.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything perfect; the building is amazing and the room was charming and comfortable. All the staff were excellent.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Close to city center. Convenient.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: The location was perfect near the main plaza. The service was over the top fantastic and pleasant. The staff were like good friends when we left. The Monasterio is preserved in museum-like condition, with artwork and architecture one would expect to find in the European art museums. The breakfast was outstanding!
Cons: The restaurant was pricey so we ate elsewhere for dinner.

Excellent 8,3
Pros: The rooms are enormous. Has nice character.
Cons: The room was cold. Requested room next to the children but we were placed on each floor.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very nice staff and a great room.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautiful hotel, great location, fantastic staff that was very helpful arranging taxis and everything else we needed. Enjoyed the spa and massages as well. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Cusco!
Excellent 9,5
Pros: The building, friendly personal
Cons: None
Excellent 9,5
Pros: We enjoyed this hotel. The grounds and room were nice. The breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Probably one of the most welcoming, hospitable, and elegantly understated yet luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in throughout all my travels over the past 20+ years. Incredibly thought-out breakfast array of delicacies and treats; superb service with a human touch; layout, decorations, and design throughout our room and the hotel overall that convey thoughtful personality and class; and in a location within Cusco that simply cannot be beat.
Cons: I liked everything about my stay.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel is perfectly located in the historical center, walking distance from all good restaurants and shops. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and always goes the extra mile for you to feel at home, they even packed a lunchbox for us at 4am before we went on a hike. Also they have an excellent tea for altitude sickness. Truly amazing service
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Lovely staff, perfect English, want to please. Room service options are great, great breakfast, beautiful grounds and lovely little spa.
Cons: Would be lovely to have a 12pm check out!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This place was incredible. I suppose the only reason it doesn’t have 10 stars is because its location is up a hill (I walked from nearby and it was pretty strenuous). Everything about this place was great- from the courtyard, to the spa, to the balcony, to the bath in the room.
Cons: Up a hill
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Unique location near Plaza de Armas. Breakfast is absolute top, really one of the best you will find in Peru. The breakfast staff is also at the top of their game (flexible, friendly, hard working,...). We stayed at the property twice (coming back after a trip to Macchu Picchu) and it was like coming home. They upgraded us to the Royal suite, which was a nice gesture.
Cons: Watch out for rooms near the street side or at the bottom, because of noise hinder from cars or people at the room above you. We don't like the design of the rooms that much (the modern touch is becoming outdated and is not in line with the charm and style of the nice outdoors).
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Stayed for 2 nights pre-Inca trail and 1 night post Inca-trail! Beautiful breakfast that starts from 5.30 so perfect if you're doing early tours! Spa is beautiful - had the best massage of my life. Rooms are beautiful. Complimentary Pisco Sour every night. Perfect stay - highly recommend!
Cons: Nothing! If I'm being really picky... they were aware that we were there on honeymoon and an extra little touch or two might have been nice but definitely not marking down for this!

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent in all senses, comfortable, very kind and helpful employees, excellent service, great breakfast
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Outstanding property. Only one with a centralised oxygen facility in Cusco
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent service overall. Awesome breakfast. Lived up to its 5 star rating by an American's standards.
Cons: The wifi in my room was spotty. My room did not have windows directly to the outside.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent service oriented staff. Very helpful. Extremely courteous. Enjoyed walking around the hotel looking at the part work and furniture. Complimenetary Pisco Sour was perfect. Excellent breakfast. Upgrade to suite was sweet.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Spacious, bathroom clean and warm. Staff helpful.
Cons: Pillows not supportive enough
Excellent 9,5
Pros: This property had a lot of character and points of interest, was very comfortable and the location was great. It was very close to the centre of the town without being right in the middle of the noise and bustle. Without fail, all of the staff we interacted with were excellent.
Cons: The restaurant was partially in the hallway close to our room so we could hear people having breakfast. We had to get up early anyway so it wasn’t an issue for us but if you were looking for a lazy morning a ground floor room might be a bit noisy.
Excellent 9,3
Pros: The hotel atmosphere is wonderful
Cons: It seems not enough staff in restaurant during breakfast time.
Excellent 9,3
Pros: This boutique hotel is an absolute oasis within the city of Cusco. As you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff and the sound of classical music through the stereo. The rooms are opulent and have everything you need. Service was great! They even kept a bag for me when I spent two days in a different town. Loved my stay here.
Cons: Breakfast takes two long. There was only one staff member both mornings that did both the service of coffee, the taking of breakfast orders and the serving of breakfast (perhaps also making it, I'm not sure). Would be better if they either have a 2nd staff member working or have the coffee available at a self-service station.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The breakfasts were delicious, the staff was friendly and gave exceptional service.

Pros: This is our second stay at this fabulous hotel and we cannot say enough good things about it. It offers the personalized service of a boutique with the amenities of a chain. We loved spending time with a baby alpaca in their courtyard, enjoyed the spa and relaxation pool and find their breakfast delicious. We will always try to stay here given the opportunity.
Cons: The Qespi restaurant left something to be desired. Neither of us really enjoyed our meals - they weren't bad but just not on the same level of quality of the other offerings from the hotel.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Loved the staff and excellent hospitality.
Cons: Too short of time to stay and enjoy.
Excellent 9,3
Pros: The location is terrific, and hotel grounds are amazing. The staff is outstanding, specially Gjiorgio. Breakfast was delicious. Pool area was nice, even though it is a “relaxation” pool. It was great. Saunas were clean and working properly. Service at bar and restaurant was nice, specially Marcela.
Cons: They charged a “destination fee” in which we get some extras. But I didn’t ask for that, and it was kinda ‘mandatory’ in the way they presented us that. The room was pretty small compared to others in Peru, and the bathroom felt tight and claustrophobic. For that price range I was expecting a LOT more. The food at the bar and restaurant was very inconsistent: amazing ceviche, amazing pizzas(wtf?), but we had a very disappointing Lomo Saltado, and a terrible Fish and Chips.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Rosario was amazing!!! She scheduled our family a tour with a fabulous tour guide that was very engaging with our kids. All the staff was wonderful!!! This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: We loved everything. Great location and great staff. Very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The coffee maker in our room did not work.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Cant thank the staff enough. These people go above and beyond to help their guests. Really one of the best hotels in the world because of the people that work there
Excellent 9,3
Pros: The location is great, you can walk everywhere. Check-in/out was easy, breakfast buffet was good. Concierge helpful getting us a car for the day to take us to the pisca markets and archeological site. Courtyard beautiful for afternoon
Cons: The room was a bit small. I was travelling with 2 teenagers and we had 2 singles and a rollaway which was a bit tight. The bathroom was ok but super small.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We are on our six months world tour, we really need a hotel not just clean & comfortable but a place make us feel like going home, staffs are very friendly and helpful, theirs services are amazing 6 stars!!! Breakfast spoiled with variety of juices and different types of eggs, ( they have choices of the eggs of the day and choices of detoxing juices ) Big love XXX
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Disappointed in size of pool. Told It was not a swimming pool but a ‘relaxation’ pool. Spa was the size of a single bed. Service amazing, staff were great. Location terrific, walk to everything. Breakfast buffet great.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Awesome breakfast, comfy bed, super clean, open late/early great location and the staff was amazing
Cons: Everything was perfect
Excellent 9,5
Pros: It was an excellent location. Rooms were comfortable.
Cons: There is no plug point where the coffee machine was placed. No USB ports for mobile charging.

Pros: Trio of women traveling the Inka trail; lovely room with outstanding beds. Service was outstanding, to include hotel arranging for a clinic visit for one of us with an injury. Bar was good, breakfast was excellent. Spa also used, to include massage service.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Loved everything, beautiful hotel, wonderful staff and waiters who remember you after your first time there. Breakfast is heavenly. Lunches and dinners could have a few more interesting options.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Best hotel i have been, even the small details are amazing. A bit pricey but worth it
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Love the stuff even they confused in my order they made me feel content giving me what I love. Super awesome.
Good 6,8
Pros: The breakfast was excellent, the concierge was very helpful, the hotel looks beautiful and the location is perfect.
Cons: They gave us the smallest room with one small window facing a wall. The room service tray only fit on the bed, because room was too small. We asked for late checkout bcs we arrived at 9 pm the previous day and they only gave us 1 extra hour instead of the two we asked for. The front desk ladies were neither very good nor accommodating. The price was high for the type of room and service we received.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff are absolutely fabulous! So very nice and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful, would not consider staying anywhere else when traveling to Cusco!! It is very close to everything the city of Cusco has to offer.
Cons: Rooms are very nice but are on the smaller side, but still very beautiful.
Good 7,5
Pros: Bedding and other standardised facilities such as bar, breakfast, etc were good.
Cons: Staff was not sufficiently trained. They have six people at concierge and two at front desk. I was allocated a room that had no air conditioning and was not even told about it before I spent the first night lying awake in my room.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Best accommodations we have ever experienced. Staff was exceptional as well as service!
Cons: The property was lovely and easy to get around and there was always someone to help if needed!
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Very helpful staff, beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast and great location. They had Coca tea and oxgen if you needed it.
Cons: The bathroom was a little small but totally functional;)
Good 6,8
Pros: Location, view
Cons: At checkin, Roger sat us down and energetically told us our room was not ready (we were early) and suggested we upgrade. I said no, so he asked me if we "really wanted" the room we had reserved. I explained we were tired from the long trip and asked if he could watch our bags and we would return later. He persisted in excitedly selling the upgrade. At checkout, no one could explain why I was charged 40 dollars more than what was listed on the bill. (The visa receipt did not match the folio) Of course it was the 10 percent charge at checkout that does appear in the booking email. These games were surprising at an spg hotel. .Everyone Was very nice while they created a sense of confusion that (of course) costs the traveler money. (I am sure worse for those who speak no spanish).
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable and huge. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: We only had one window in our room without much of a view.

Pros: Great location. Professional staff.
Cons: Felt a bit cold. Not many people around. Price very high compared to other excellent options in area.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel is fantastic. It exceeded our expectations.
Cons: The bed and pillows were a bit too soft for us.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Beautiful room, very attentive and detailed services
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Lovely place with nice staff
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Service exemplary. Every request was handled efficiently and always with a smile. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Loved everything! We were in the Inca suite; one Wall is glass exposing original wall from the original convent! The room was gorgeous and the bathroom was enormous, heated floors and beautifully appointed. The level of beauty and detail was not exclusive to our room - all of the rooms have the same level of detail. The restaurant is excellent, everyone working at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. The location is great - one block off the main (pedestrian) square.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was far more impressive than I imagined. If there was anything I would change it would be to have the hotel in s city that offered more to do or see.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We were upgraded to a beautiful presidential suite. Concierge tended to all our needs. Obtained our rail tickets to name a few.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel is a combination of pure luxury and total peace. Adjacent to its larger brother. Monasterio, with a beautiful (private) cathedral in between. From the moment you enter, the staff takes care of just about anything you need. Butler service, concierge, and anyone on site is courteous, friendly and above all, making sure that your stay is as comfortable and pleasant you can ask for. Plaza Nazarenas is as central you can be, but in the meantime serene and quiet. Would definitely stay there again!
Cons: Can't think of it, but perhaps that we had to leave after 3 nights.........
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Service quality out of this world - absolutely top
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Because the hotel was quiet and it was a special occasion for us our room was upgraded. Amazing experienced topped by our butler Daniel who looked after us and made us feel very welcome
Cons: My wife got a migraine overnight but the hotel couldn’t provide any parecetamol so had to wait until the pharmacy was open. Make sure you bring own medicinal supplies.

Pros: The staff was incredible! They are above and beyond anything we could’ve imagined! They were very friendly and happy to help with any and all questions and comments.
Cons: The only issue we had was that we were off property almost an entire day & left the “privacy please” sign on the door, and came back to a cleaned room, not that this is a bad thing, however, they threw away a couple personal items, our personal face soap and shower cap.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff was incredibly helpful.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful especially after we returned from the airport unannounced because our flight out of Cusco was cancelled. The breakfasts also were delicious and abundant. Top notch service. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: The noise at night from the barking dogs that could be heard in some of the rooms. The location isn't the greatest if you want to walk downtown. However, the hotel offers terrific and inexpensive transportation to and from downtown. Also they provide free pickup and delivery from and to the airport.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: fantastic staff, very attentive and helpful
Excellent 9,5
Pros: The staff was amazing!! We also did the rainbow mountain tour through them and it was the best tour I did in Peru!
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Everything at this hotel was amazing! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We loved that they provided a cell-phone to us so we could contact them to pick us up or help us if we needed. The breakfast was always delicious and the cook was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. It was the perfect hotel and we would definitely stay here again.
Cons: I wish they had an ATM closer or in the hotel because it was hard to figure out how to get money, especially since we needed it to get a taxi to go to the city center where the ATM is. The location was a little far from the city center, but it was nice because they offered a taxi service that was extremely cheap so it wasn't that big of a deal.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Excellent, professional staff, very friendly, efficient system of collecting you again anywhere in the city by sending taxi at your request (they give you a cell phone), never saw such operating system, fantastic idea!
Cons: nothing as far as we are concerned
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Staff were excellent. Could not be more helpful. Good breakfast. Perfectly clean / quiet.
Cons: The room was small. Very expensive for size of room.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This hotel is a bit out of town (one takes a taxi to get to Cusco's main square) - but it was really worth it to stay here rather than closer to town. It was quiet, the staff were exceptionally attentive to one's needs, the breakfast was excellent each morning, and all round one was made to feel a valued guest. (Later in my trip I had joined a group, stayed in a different hotel, this highlighted how excellent Torre Dorada had been.)
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very friendly staff. The cleaning lady did a great job, she even organized our cables!
Cons: Wifi connection isn't so good at our room, the public space is fine.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Yum! Nice spread and made to order eggs.
Cons: Location, but I knew that going into it. They did their best to mitigate by coordinating rides.

Pros: Great staff, especially Cecilia. Help with tours. Great breakfast. Great vslue for the money. Safe. A couple mile walk to Centro historico.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location is near the airport which was desired. Supermarket at the corner. It's not for walking around in the neighbourhood but it was not what we were searching for.
Cons: Blankets didn't look very clean
Excellent 9,3
Pros: This hotel is very basic but more than adequate. It is clean, quiet and has everything needed. It is a very good option for an overnight near the airport. Did not have breakfast so cannot rate that. Less than $4 for a taxi to the airport 10 minutes away. Very inexpensive for a nice small room.
Cons: Difficult to regulate water temperature in shower.

Pros: Accommodation price was reasonable.
Cons: The internet was censored. I felt like I was in China. Access to sites including social media and YouTube is blocked from the laptop. My login password to many sites through Facebook, I could not access those sites. Internet censorship in the Internet era. It was very terrible.
Good 6,8
Pros: - The Junior suite was large with a shower and also a jacuzzi. - Good WiFi throughout - Great restaurant on site, with a good breakfast
Cons: - Far away from everything (although handily close to the airport) - Extremely loud from 7PM until around 10PM due to some sort of local music scene. We weren't told about this, and it was impossible to sleep in our room facing the road. - In need of refurbishment
Excellent 9,3
Pros: Spatious room - good restaurant with a very nice view on the 12th floor on Cusco. It's a bit out of the center, but for a few sols you can use a taxi.
Cons: nothing
Excellent 9,3
Pros: Very good for the price I paid. Brilliant view from the roof top bar for your morning coffee. WiFi is strong. My flight reached early in the day and I arrived at the hotel at 7 am. The staff were helpful enough to let me check in early. Very pleased!
Cons: If you have troubles walking 15 min to the city centre, this is not for you. But it’s conveniently located to flag a cab or get an Uber for ~ Soles 5 to the city centre.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Very large room with modern furnishings.
Good 7,5
Pros: Nice modern hotel
Cons: Someone tried to open the door to my locked room 5 minutes after I have entered it, back from my tour. When I informed the reception, she sent up a staff with a master key who thought that I had locked myself out or the lock was not working. This was despite me using google translate to explain the situation in spanish.. their CCTV cameras seemed to only be aimed at the restaurant/bar.. so spent the rest of my stay barracading my door with a chair and door hanger!
Okay 4,3
Pros: Restaurant staff very friendly Cleaning staff kind too
Cons: Poor Management and even worse reception staff!!! Was told to leave the hotel in about 30min after agreeing, 3 days before and get a verbal confirmation that I will stay 5 more days!!! Unbelievable behavior and definitely not professional people working over there. There a lot better hotel in Cusco.
Okay 5,5
Pros: The staff was friendly
Cons: The breakfast was poor. The place looks old
Good 7,5
Pros: View from the top storey restaurant was nice and the breakfast variety was also good. Staff were very helpful and offered me a coca tea on arrival (aware that many guests are probably struggling with the altitude)
Cons: I was in 11-E staying in late June (facing the back of the hotel) There's no heating (other than the electric heater provided) so the room gets extremely cold in the evening and night and becomes a sauna in the morning as the sun floods in. Also, there was loud partying going on downstairs almost every night but I guess this was because I arrived on the advent of the Inti Remi festival so I will let it slide.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Large, comfortable, clean and attractive rooms Front desk staff is excellent , very helpful, and knowledgeable about both Cuzco and outlying areas (Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, etc.)
Cons: Breakfast is ok, but the crew that attends to tables and oversees the breakfast buffet is lackadaisical bordering on indifferent (tables and floors aren't cleaned after guests leave, coffee urns run completely out, no cold milk for cereal) Interior noise is loud due to an open central staircase, early tour bus departures, and inconsiderate guests
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Staff are all very nice and room was large and clean. I got a top floor room and the view was wonderful. The restaurant on top floor was amazing and priced no higher than those on the streets.
Cons: A bit walk to the centre area of town.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Staff, facilities, high rise
Cons: No A/c in room. It was a bit cold.

Pros: Marco and Roland are very good hosts taking care of everything and always available. Breakfasts were nice :)
Good 7,0
Pros: The garden is lovely and the owners are quite warm.
Cons: We we're welcomed warmly but given no information other than where breakfast would be served. On our 3rd of three mornings there was an information sheet on the breakfast table; that would have been helpful to have upon check-in. We also did not realize until the 3rd (and last) morning that there is a very nice sitting room. Maybe we missed all that info because we checked in late without giving advance notice, but it would have taken only a minute to equip us with the useful secrets.
Good 7,5
Pros: Ronald and Marco made us feel like family. They were very kind and accommodating. We arrived at 6:00am and they managed to get us into rooms early so we could crash and catch up on sleep. They arranged transportation for us to airport and train station. The place was quiet at night, has a homey character with the courtyard garden, geese and dogs. Felt like an escape away from the streets beyond.
Cons: Our room was nice and roomy but we struggled to stay warm. Showers unpredictable. Sure this is an awesome place to stay in warmer weather.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We liked the owners- Ronald and his partner. They were so kind and welcoming. The property was secure and a convenient location to the center of Cusco. They arranged transportation for us to the stand train station and accommodated us on our very Early arrival.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very clean. Conveniently located. Ronald and Marco are the perfect hosts. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every day. Their two dogs are a delight.
Cons: Be aware that the city turns off the water overnight. We got up at 4 A.M. for a day trip to Machu Picchu and couldn’t shower because there was no running water.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: We felt really welcome at Kukuli Lodge and looked after. We got picked up from the airport and offered coca tea at arrival to make the altitude easier. The lodge is a nice walking (20 min) distance from the old town centre but the taxi drivers coming back had difficulties finding the place as we didn't speak Spanish and they didn't recognize the street name. We stayed for two nights before and after doing a trek to Machu Picchu. It was great to be able to leave our luggage at the lodge. Thank you for all your assistance, we enjoyed our stay with you!
Excellent 9,5
Pros: We enjoyed our stay with Marco and Ronald alot! They really tried (and succeed) to make us feel at home! The garden is beautiful and we loved the animals around (2 dogs, cat, chicken, rabbits and even humming birds!) Dora took very well care of us with a delicious breakfast. The room was clean and the bed is comfy. Even though its a bit away from town we considered this place totally worth it. We come back here after Machu Picchu

Pros: We had an early departure by bus, so this location was very good for it. The staff was very friendly and the receptionist had good English skills.
Cons: We didn’t get any hot water. Also one of the beds was totally worn out and bumpy, so you couldn’t sleep in it.
Good 7,0

Okay 5,0
Cons: It was too loud heard music all night
Excellent 8,3
Pros: The staff was very friendly and attended to our requests promptly. The breakfast was good and all around not a bad stay for the price.
Cons: The beds were very uncomfortable. If you don't plan on sleeping in, then it's not a big deal.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Breakfast was really nice and everything was homemade! Accommodation was clean and staff was very very helpful and kind. Apart from shower and location, everything was good.
Cons: Location was a bit too far from the centre. Especially when you are struggling with high altitude, it takes quite a long time to go to the main square, etc. We stayed at 3rd floor, and shower sometimes just became cold, and then became hot a bit later, repeated a few times. Our guess was the hot water is intercepted by other floor users...?
