Cons: The bar closes very early (it was shut around 9pm)
Excellent 10,0

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very nice staff and a great room.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Fantastic staff and property!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: A fantastic hotel with large bedrooms, and excellent bathrooms. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. The tea stand in the lobby with coca leaves was very beneficial when trying to acclimatise to the high altitude. I'd highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and price.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Casa Cartagena exceeded our expectations. The staff were attentive, friendly and super helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the hotel's location is perfect - just steps away from museums, restaurants, and the main square. We loved hanging out in the courtyard after a day of hiking/day trips. The spa is also a bonus! Highly recommended and would stay here again next time we're in Cusco.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff provided a warm welcome with memorable personalized service. With only 15 rooms, we felt like royalty. The spa and gym are small, but nice. The included breakfast was delicious. We wanted to stay longer to enjoy the facilities. Highly recommend.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff are absolutely amazing! We saw the same staff each day and they went out of their way to learn our names and where we are from. We had to change hotels for our tour and the porter carried our bags for us a block to the new hotel. Exceptional standard. We will definitely be back and would recommend to everyone!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Stay here, don't stay anywhere else. A lovely hotel with very friendly helpful staff
Cons: There can be noise from other customers during the night

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Trio of women traveling the Inka trail; lovely room with outstanding beds. Service was outstanding, to include hotel arranging for a clinic visit for one of us with an injury. Bar was good, breakfast was excellent. Spa also used, to include massage service.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Absolutely amazing place, decoration, location, staff, food and room were far better than we expected. Would recommend this hotel and would love to come back one day!
Cons: Only misses to have an indoor pool
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Loved my stay at Palacio del Inka. The hotel is intricately decorated, historically fascinating and the location is perfect. The highlight for me was the staff who were always friendly and willing to help.
Cons: Could improve with allergy labelling at breakfast.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very historic. Excellent decor. Rooms beautiful. Staff excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. Food amazing. Guy playing the harp during breakfast and Alpaca in court yard was incredible.
Cons: No decent English Tea for us British visitors. Get some Yorkshire Tea bags guys
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Wonderful place with much to see - they even give a tour of the hotel! Breakfast and food overall was super, location is excellent just a 4 min walk to the centre square. Staff were super and the hotel Knew it was our honeymoon and left a small cake and bottle of wine in the room - unexpected. Evening bed turn down service nice. We used the spa for massage - which were lovely. Would recommend and stay again.
Cons: Only niggle was that the tours they arrange are a little over expensive. Ie to hire a driver for a half day from the hotel they stated 150usd... however they were able to arrange one for 50usd when pushed although it was arranged to pay direct. In that sense - the concierge was still v helpful hence a small thing. Top place overallz
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everyone was very friendly & accommodating!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: historical background and significance, rich in culture and tradition.
Cons: lighting in certain sections, eg alleys, are overly subdued.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Location is great. Family suite is huge and very convenient. Amazing breakfast. The staff is always ready and attentive. Super recommended!
Good 6,8
Pros: Location, view
Cons: At checkin, Roger sat us down and energetically told us our room was not ready (we were early) and suggested we upgrade. I said no, so he asked me if we "really wanted" the room we had reserved. I explained we were tired from the long trip and asked if he could watch our bags and we would return later. He persisted in excitedly selling the upgrade. At checkout, no one could explain why I was charged 40 dollars more than what was listed on the bill. (The visa receipt did not match the folio) Of course it was the 10 percent charge at checkout that does appear in the booking email. These games were surprising at an spg hotel. .Everyone Was very nice while they created a sense of confusion that (of course) costs the traveler money. (I am sure worse for those who speak no spanish).
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Staff are helpful and breakfast is great
Excellent 8,3
Pros: The property is an historical site and well-located. There are some nice amenities but it is a bit pricey for the value.
Cons: My brother and I were traveling together and we were placed in an exterior room that was uncomfortably warm the entire night with no ability to turn on a fan or air conditioning. We had to open the window to cool off and the noise from the street kept us awake. Also I was offered a coupon to use in the spa, but the spa was so booked that we could not use the coupon. The staff were helpful and friendly though and perhaps visitors should request an interior room which would be more comfortable and quiet.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was lovely, location perfect. In the heart of Cusco, but super quiet - like a little oasis. And they pump oxygen into the rooms to deal with the high altitude of Cusco.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: What a gem in Cusco, more than comfortable, beautiful oasis in the heart of Cusco. Staff could not be nicer, friendlier and more accommodating!
Cons: Nothing, it’s amazing
Okay 5,4
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Small rooms. dark with windows facing the corridor. Very dull breakfast. horrible smell in the lobby. I expected more from a 5* hotel.
Good 7,1
Pros: Professional staff, good location.
Cons: The room was rather noisy and I expected more personal touches like flowers in the room. Also, I am gluten-free and vegan and would have liked more choices. It’s a beautiful hotel, just had hoped for more for the price it costs.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Best of the best
Excellent 9,6
Pros: One of the best hotels in Cusco with very good location, beautiful hotel built in an old Colonial Mansion, immaculately clean, the rooms are furnished well, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. Wonderful hospitality from the moment upon arrival and delicious cuisine and cocktails. We attend the Pisco Sour lesson in the evening and was amazing. They had even made note of my birthday and prepared a delicious cake for breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff are attentive, the breakfast was incredible, beds comfy. It’s the most amazing oasis in Cusco. And they pump oxygen into the rooms to help with altitude issues
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautiful, clean, staff, location
Excellent 9,2
Pros: This boutique hotel is an absolute oasis within the city of Cusco. As you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff and the sound of classical music through the stereo. The rooms are opulent and have everything you need. Service was great! They even kept a bag for me when I spent two days in a different town. Loved my stay here.
Cons: Breakfast takes two long. There was only one staff member both mornings that did both the service of coffee, the taking of breakfast orders and the serving of breakfast (perhaps also making it, I'm not sure). Would be better if they either have a 2nd staff member working or have the coffee available at a self-service station.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent hotel, luxury in the middle of a beautiful old city. You can easily relax in the hotel courtyard or head out easily into the city
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Nice hotel, well located with a very professional team and a room with oxygen that helps to support the altitude.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: The location, the service and food. The hotel is also gorgeous.
Cons: The shower and toilet were a little cramp given the size of the room. Disproportionate.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Loved the staff and excellent hospitality.
Cons: Too short of time to stay and enjoy.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything about this hotel is superb sand exceeded my expectations. The service and hospitality from each staff member was outstanding. Extremely friendly and comfortable environment. I’ll be back! :)

Pros: Everything
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel is beautiful and we really enjoyed it. We loved pachita the alpaca and her owner.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: where do i begin?? I LOVE JW and its staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate and make us feel at home. From the moment we step into the hotel and throughout our stay. (we came back to the same hotel after our trip to the Sacred Valley and Machu Piccu) Our altitude sickness kicked in and we had immediate help from the staff with oxygen treatment which we did a couple of times during our stay. Highly recommended.
Cons: we had an incident with the pisco sour demonstration, bartender spoke mostly Spanish and we felt left out and kicked to the side. I asked a couple of questions to give him hints but was not successful. He did not meet our expectation!!!

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Adorable property in a quiet location close to all activities.
Cons: Nothing - we loved everything!
Excellent 8,8
Pros: The staff was incredible! They are above and beyond anything we could’ve imagined! They were very friendly and happy to help with any and all questions and comments.
Cons: The only issue we had was that we were off property almost an entire day & left the “privacy please” sign on the door, and came back to a cleaned room, not that this is a bad thing, however, they threw away a couple personal items, our personal face soap and shower cap.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff was incredibly helpful.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful especially after we returned from the airport unannounced because our flight out of Cusco was cancelled. The breakfasts also were delicious and abundant. Top notch service. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: The noise at night from the barking dogs that could be heard in some of the rooms. The location isn't the greatest if you want to walk downtown. However, the hotel offers terrific and inexpensive transportation to and from downtown. Also they provide free pickup and delivery from and to the airport.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The breakfast was delicious and we were able to order eggs the way we liked them.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything, just a v good hotel Indeed.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The staff were the most helpful people you will ever meet!
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Personalized service. Service is great.
Cons: The location is a bit far from the main square but they arrange a taxi for you and this makes up for it.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Staff were excellent. Could not be more helpful. Good breakfast. Perfectly clean / quiet.
Cons: The room was small. Very expensive for size of room.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This hotel is a bit out of town (one takes a taxi to get to Cusco's main square) - but it was really worth it to stay here rather than closer to town. It was quiet, the staff were exceptionally attentive to one's needs, the breakfast was excellent each morning, and all round one was made to feel a valued guest. (Later in my trip I had joined a group, stayed in a different hotel, this highlighted how excellent Torre Dorada had been.)
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Yum! Nice spread and made to order eggs.
Cons: Location, but I knew that going into it. They did their best to mitigate by coordinating rides.

Pros: Great location. Professional staff.
Cons: Felt a bit cold. Not many people around. Price very high compared to other excellent options in area.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel is fantastic. It exceeded our expectations.
Cons: The bed and pillows were a bit too soft for us.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Beautiful room, very attentive and detailed services
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Lovely place with nice staff
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Service exemplary. Every request was handled efficiently and always with a smile. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Loved everything! We were in the Inca suite; one Wall is glass exposing original wall from the original convent! The room was gorgeous and the bathroom was enormous, heated floors and beautifully appointed. The level of beauty and detail was not exclusive to our room - all of the rooms have the same level of detail. The restaurant is excellent, everyone working at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. The location is great - one block off the main (pedestrian) square.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was far more impressive than I imagined. If there was anything I would change it would be to have the hotel in s city that offered more to do or see.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We were upgraded to a beautiful presidential suite. Concierge tended to all our needs. Obtained our rail tickets to name a few.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel is a combination of pure luxury and total peace. Adjacent to its larger brother. Monasterio, with a beautiful (private) cathedral in between. From the moment you enter, the staff takes care of just about anything you need. Butler service, concierge, and anyone on site is courteous, friendly and above all, making sure that your stay is as comfortable and pleasant you can ask for. Plaza Nazarenas is as central you can be, but in the meantime serene and quiet. Would definitely stay there again!
Cons: Can't think of it, but perhaps that we had to leave after 3 nights.........
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Service quality out of this world - absolutely top
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Because the hotel was quiet and it was a special occasion for us our room was upgraded. Amazing experienced topped by our butler Daniel who looked after us and made us feel very welcome
Cons: My wife got a migraine overnight but the hotel couldn’t provide any parecetamol so had to wait until the pharmacy was open. Make sure you bring own medicinal supplies.

Pros: This hotel is very basic but more than adequate. It is clean, quiet and has everything needed. It is a very good option for an overnight near the airport. Did not have breakfast so cannot rate that. Less than $4 for a taxi to the airport 10 minutes away. Very inexpensive for a nice small room.
Cons: Difficult to regulate water temperature in shower.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great staff, especially Cecilia. Help with tours. Great breakfast. Great vslue for the money. Safe. A couple mile walk to Centro historico.
Good 7,9
Pros: Location is near the airport which was desired. Supermarket at the corner. It's not for walking around in the neighbourhood but it was not what we were searching for.
Cons: Blankets didn't look very clean
Good 7,5
Pros: The property is well located near a supermarket and a Main Street with plenty of buses that take you everywhere. There are lots of restaurants around too and a shopping center just 7min away.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Nice house run by a lovely lady. Comfortable rooms and comfy common areas.
Good 7,0
Pros: Room was simple. there is a balcony on a last floor (available for everyone), area looks safe, there are restaurants and a market, was not close to city centre but mostly flat walk. Lady speaks a little english. Nights in Cusco are very cold, but hotel was warm. We had a hot water in the shower.
Cons: Hotel looks very old, need some refreshment and repainting (looks not as nice as on pictures). Bathroom smells strange. Breakfast was too simple, no selection, no cheese, only scrambled eggs and jam. WiFi disconnects. No parking, only place in front of hotel, not secured.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Clean, comfortable, inexpensive, and just off a main street so it is easy to get a taxi. Just a short taxi ride to airport or old Central Cusco. Location is easy for taxi drivers to find when you want to get back to the hotel. She made breakfast early for us when we were leaving on an early train and daughter got the taxi for us the first few times to make it easier for us. They also arranged for a lady to meet us at the airport and get us in a good taxi to come to the hotel. It was nice not to have to find a taxi ourselves. They also kept our suitcases while we were at Machu Picchu for a couple of days. We just took small packs with us so we wouldn't have to carry much while exploring the sacred valley.

Pros: Close to airport. Big rooms. Buffet breakfast. Fast WIFI. Good hot shower. Comfortable bed.
Cons: No heater. Very slow room service. Price a lot higher to book in advance.
Okay 5,4
Pros: Beds are good. Fantastic view over the city from the breakfast room.
Cons: Cater to big groups of tour-operator tourist. Dont care much about other travellers.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Really comfortable beds and piping hot water which is unusual for Peru. The breakfast spead was good too. Plaza de Armas is walkable but a taxi should not cost more than 5 soles or buses are 80 cents.
Cons: Yes the hotel is noisy: road out front and train line on back. However, the hotels near to Plaza de Armas are also noisy due to footfall, taxis and tourists up from 3am for various excursions. Cusco is not a place for light sleepers
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Love it and recommended to everyone >>!!! :)
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Very comfortable hotel, nice restaurant on top with good food and tasty cocktails. Walking distance to historic centre, although the taxi is only 5 soles. Rooms with bathtub, satellite tv with lots of channels. The breakfast is good enough, unfortunately they don't have an espresso machine.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Large, comfortable, clean and attractive rooms Front desk staff is excellent , very helpful, and knowledgeable about both Cuzco and outlying areas (Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, etc.)
Cons: Breakfast is ok, but the crew that attends to tables and oversees the breakfast buffet is lackadaisical bordering on indifferent (tables and floors aren't cleaned after guests leave, coffee urns run completely out, no cold milk for cereal) Interior noise is loud due to an open central staircase, early tour bus departures, and inconsiderate guests
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Staff, facilities, high rise
Cons: No A/c in room. It was a bit cold.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Marco and Roland are very good hosts taking care of everything and always available. Breakfasts were nice :)
Good 7,1
Pros: The garden is lovely and the owners are quite warm.
Cons: We we're welcomed warmly but given no information other than where breakfast would be served. On our 3rd of three mornings there was an information sheet on the breakfast table; that would have been helpful to have upon check-in. We also did not realize until the 3rd (and last) morning that there is a very nice sitting room. Maybe we missed all that info because we checked in late without giving advance notice, but it would have taken only a minute to equip us with the useful secrets.
Good 7,5
Pros: Ronald and Marco made us feel like family. They were very kind and accommodating. We arrived at 6:00am and they managed to get us into rooms early so we could crash and catch up on sleep. They arranged transportation for us to airport and train station. The place was quiet at night, has a homey character with the courtyard garden, geese and dogs. Felt like an escape away from the streets beyond.
Cons: Our room was nice and roomy but we struggled to stay warm. Showers unpredictable. Sure this is an awesome place to stay in warmer weather.
Good 7,9
Pros: We liked the owners- Ronald and his partner. They were so kind and welcoming. The property was secure and a convenient location to the center of Cusco. They arranged transportation for us to the stand train station and accommodated us on our very Early arrival.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very clean. Conveniently located. Ronald and Marco are the perfect hosts. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every day. Their two dogs are a delight.
Cons: Be aware that the city turns off the water overnight. We got up at 4 A.M. for a day trip to Machu Picchu and couldn’t shower because there was no running water.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: We felt really welcome at Kukuli Lodge and looked after. We got picked up from the airport and offered coca tea at arrival to make the altitude easier. The lodge is a nice walking (20 min) distance from the old town centre but the taxi drivers coming back had difficulties finding the place as we didn't speak Spanish and they didn't recognize the street name. We stayed for two nights before and after doing a trek to Machu Picchu. It was great to be able to leave our luggage at the lodge. Thank you for all your assistance, we enjoyed our stay with you!
Excellent 9,6
Pros: We enjoyed our stay with Marco and Ronald alot! They really tried (and succeed) to make us feel at home! The garden is beautiful and we loved the animals around (2 dogs, cat, chicken, rabbits and even humming birds!) Dora took very well care of us with a delicious breakfast. The room was clean and the bed is comfy. Even though its a bit away from town we considered this place totally worth it. We come back here after Machu Picchu

Cons: Was quite cold at night

Pros: The staff were so lovely and welcoming. You walk off the streets of Cusco into a courtyard with animals and greenery which all the rooms look out on to. We loved it! The breakfast was lovely too with fresh eggs from the chickens!

Excellent 9,6
Pros: The staff was increadably helpful! My Spanish is very lacking and they took the time to figure out all that I needed and provided me and my aunt with a wonderful stay.
Cons: The location was not ideal for a tourist wanting to see the historical buildings of Cusco.
Good 7,9
Pros: It's surprisingly nicely decorated and well-constructed. It was our anniversary and they made us our own special dinner complete with candle light.
Cons: San Jeronimo is a long way from Cusco (20 - 30 minutes by taxi or bus). The rooms are small.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were very nice
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Great shower, good bed, clean, friendly and nice breakfast
Cons: Not in centre of Cuzco. Although this is also an advantage: it is on our way to Puno and near the airport.

Okay 5,0
Pros: It was very good to deal with booking.com
Cons: The hotel we booked deal with us as we paid very little money that the way to give us the very poor room upstairs. So what explain in booking wasn’t true.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Its clean, confortable and the staff is very kind.
Cons: It’s a little bit far from the Plaza de Armas, 30 mins to walk.
Okay 5,8
Pros: We had an early departure by bus, so this location was very good for it. The staff was very friendly and the receptionist had good English skills.
Cons: We didn’t get any hot water. Also one of the beds was totally worn out and bumpy, so you couldn’t sleep in it.
Good 7,1
Pros: Warm welcome and location.
Cons: Even after confirming that there was ,definitly no hot water at all.Icy shower!
Okay 5,0
Cons: It was too loud heard music all night
Excellent 8,3
Pros: The staff was very friendly and attended to our requests promptly. The breakfast was good and all around not a bad stay for the price.
Cons: The beds were very uncomfortable. If you don't plan on sleeping in, then it's not a big deal.
Good 7,5
Cons: The curtain weren't that opaque and there was a safety light right in front the window which means the room was lighted all night long
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Breakfast was really nice and everything was homemade! Accommodation was clean and staff was very very helpful and kind. Apart from shower and location, everything was good.
Cons: Location was a bit too far from the centre. Especially when you are struggling with high altitude, it takes quite a long time to go to the main square, etc. We stayed at 3rd floor, and shower sometimes just became cold, and then became hot a bit later, repeated a few times. Our guess was the hot water is intercepted by other floor users...?
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The room very nice, big, comfortable; staff is very friendly, location is good, and breakfast delicious, Miss Mercedes (mama) help a lot and arrange trips to many sights near Cusco like Machupicchu, the mountain of 7 colors and more!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We loved how friendly the staff was! They were beyond helpful and informative and booked everything for us.
Cons: It was a little loud at night.
Okay 5,7
Pros: Warm and hospital.
Cons: Forgot to pick up us from airport.
