Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff is courteous and competent, meeting the highest standards of customer service. The building and individual rooms are historic and comfortable. The courtyard in particular is a peaceful haven where it is possible to simply relax, have breakfast or lunch, or have tea and cocktails later in the evening. In the Peru State of Emergency crisis, they came through with flying colors--ready to help in any way they could.
Excellent 10,0

Excellent 8,0
Pros: the staff is super nice, friendly and professional. stayed in many hotels in peru but the staff here is the best. very well trained especially front desk
Cons: the showers in the rooms are extremely not practical. u can barely go inside of them. bartenders need more training on cocktails
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. A live omelette station made it perfect. The all inclusive Spa and room amenities made this a memorable stay. Great location
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Beautiful facilities, perfect location and friendly staff. Plus, breakfast was delicious and varied… great way to start the day in amazing Cusco. Spa was great too.
Cons: Rooms against the Inca wall were a bit claustrophobic, but ok once you got used to it.
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: Location, breakfast
Cons: Room was tiny and prices ridiculous Not a good value for money
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great as always. 2nd stay at this hotel and again we were pleasantly surprised. Amazing help from front desk staff.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: In general everything. Front desk support was amazing. Two pisco sours provided each day was a nice treat.
Cons: Room called “Inka wall” is literally a window that has no view but another wall on the other side. Not a big issue since we hardly stayed in the room. On our second stay we had a normal window and it was great.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Excellent service, breakfast, happy hour pisco sours - a very warm experience.
Cons: Because it is an old convent, the rooms are a bit weird; cannot really hold it against them.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Wonderful atmosphere
Cons: Like all converted convents not an ideal hotel layout- poky rooms and weird layout. They did a great job with what they had.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: superb location , beautiful decor, wonderful staff.
Cons: nothing at all
Excellent 10,0
Pros: beautiful stay best food great cocktails
Cons: we were there and there were no other guests so maybe that made it seem all the more special
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Spa and service
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Hard not to like pretty much everything about this place. Location was perfect, staff very friendly and extremely helpful, spa was impeccable, surprise gifts constantly delivered to the room (cold and hot beverages, finger food, chocolate). The whole design of the building is sooooo beautiful and the breakfast OMG (by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had).
Cons: Unless you don’t like to be pampered nearly 24/7, there’s hardly something you wouldn’t like about this place.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The property itself, the way this XVII century building has been renovated, the attention of the personnel, the amenities, the pisco sour teaching course... the spa... the breakfast, ..., everything !!!!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very nice staff and a great room.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff always helpful, good location
Cons: The hotel didn’t got a backup system when they where migration the software to another one, they try to charge me a bill from another room. I didn’t like a had to be running all the time to pay the bill of my family instead of being relaxing.
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: the location
Cons: many things! the room service was so lazy and once you checked in they never like you! the room was so dark and the hitter was broken! and the bathroom was too small! not a 5-star hotel for sure maybe 4?!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The fenomenal and special environment offered by the hotel. You really feel like you’re at a different experience in Cusco while still enjoying a modern and comfortable hotel structure.
Cons: The shower area could be a bit larger.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautiful building, excellent service and overall luxurious experience. Great location
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Trio of women traveling the Inka trail; lovely room with outstanding beds. Service was outstanding, to include hotel arranging for a clinic visit for one of us with an injury. Bar was good, breakfast was excellent. Spa also used, to include massage service.
Good 6,8
Pros: Location, view
Cons: At checkin, Roger sat us down and energetically told us our room was not ready (we were early) and suggested we upgrade. I said no, so he asked me if we "really wanted" the room we had reserved. I explained we were tired from the long trip and asked if he could watch our bags and we would return later. He persisted in excitedly selling the upgrade. At checkout, no one could explain why I was charged 40 dollars more than what was listed on the bill. (The visa receipt did not match the folio) Of course it was the 10 percent charge at checkout that does appear in the booking email. These games were surprising at an spg hotel. .Everyone Was very nice while they created a sense of confusion that (of course) costs the traveler money. (I am sure worse for those who speak no spanish).
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent customer service
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Attentive staff like I've never seen before. Taking care of every need and going above and beyond to make you happy.
Cons: The hotel is a little old and could probably use a face lift.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The Staff are very sweet and friendly!
Cons: The mattress could have a bit of more cushion
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Maybe the best beds I had all trip, soo comfortable! And the breakfast buffet was really nice by local standards as well.
Cons: The location isn’t exactly central, so prepare to walk or call an Uber each time you wanna get to the centre.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: everything
Cons: it was a little to far from the centre
Good 7,0
Pros: The rooms are beautiful, the beds comfy, the breakfast is great! Due to the location it is very quiet
Cons: Sometimes there is no hot water in the shower. The wifi doesn't work at all in the 2nd and 3rd floor, only downstairs. Somehow they know when you're in the room (but how..??) and then they just don't clean your room, don't even ask. We stayed 7 nights
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The decor of the hotel; all rooms are very tastefully decorated compared with other hotels. The beds were super comfy. The service was exceptional. Diego in the reception was excellent, always very responsive and helpful and gave us good recommendations for dinner etc. He arranged taxis for us to get to town and the airport and the price was very reasonable. They also provided luggage storage while we went to Machu Picchu. Karina in the kitchen was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for breakfast. The cleaning staff was very pleasant too. I particularly liked the available coffee and tea at all times in the sitting room areas and I liked the rooftop bar although unfortunately I didn't get an opportunity to take full advantage of it as it was closed when we decided to go. This was our favourite hotel in Peru and we extended for two nights here.
Cons: Nothing. It was all good. For some travellers maybe they would prefer to be closer to the centre of town (approx 35 mins walk) but for us it was fine.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Breakfast is great, staff is very friendly. The hotel is 10 min drive away from the center but you can easily go by uber which is very cheap
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The bed was comfy and shower lovely and hot. Breakfast was nice and they accomodated for us being vegans.
Cons: Room was a little small with 2 big backpacks and the walk was 35 mins from the centre which meant a few taxi rides when it was cold or we were going in and out in the same day.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful especially after we returned from the airport unannounced because our flight out of Cusco was cancelled. The breakfasts also were delicious and abundant. Top notch service. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: The noise at night from the barking dogs that could be heard in some of the rooms. The location isn't the greatest if you want to walk downtown. However, the hotel offers terrific and inexpensive transportation to and from downtown. Also they provide free pickup and delivery from and to the airport.

Okay 4,0
Pros: perfect location . they had a birthday cake waiting for my husband . late check out was great compared to other hotels in Cusco. breakfast was awesome!!
Cons: for a five star hotel to have no outside windows in the room is unacceptable . should have been written somewhere . room was dark . outside areas in the patios lack comfortable sitting .
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very comfy, gorgeous bathrooms, very quiet even though we were off the courtyard. We were able to check in early, which was sooo appreciated after a very long travel day and no sleep. The reception staff was very helpful and professional, while being friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was ok. Haven't had too much to compare to yet, but given luxury and amenities i would have loved to have had some more variety of local fruits on offer.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent location to Plaza de Armas and restaurants. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was very sweet and professional.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. Bartender was exceptional
Cons: Easier access to filter or bottle water, hated bothering staff for more water
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Love love love this hotel, was on my own for a trip to Machu Picchu and it was the perfect place to relax both before and after, great central location in Cusco, the staff are lovely and super helpful

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Good location, clean and nice people.
Cons: Bread was cold in breakfast. no toaster.
Excellent 8,0

Cons: I was only staying for one night after arriving late from machupicchu , the room was front of the building and as it is located in a very busy avenue .. it was very noisy , bathroom was clean spotless but I think it was closed and I could feel a smell of humidity that I’m sure can be sorted if they leave bathroom with proper ventilation.

Excellent 9,2
Pros: The staff were so lovely and welcoming. You walk off the streets of Cusco into a courtyard with animals and greenery which all the rooms look out on to. We loved it! The breakfast was lovely too with fresh eggs from the chickens!
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Lovely peaceful location, only 20 minute walk to centre of town. They got a gas heater for us on our request. Nice breakfast, good value for money. Let us check out later than stated on Bookings whilst we waited for our night bus. Nice hot showers.
Cons: There is no bath as described on Bookings, but I think that would be hard to find in Cusco anyway!
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Very friendly staff and a good breakfast. Nice rooms and garden. Easy check in and check out.
Cons: Was quite cold at night

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Breakfast was a convenient amenity especially for those days that I wouldn't have a chance to eat otherwise. The location was good, not too far from the "Plaza de las Armas" which is the main tourist attraction there. Cathedrals, museums, restaurants and train station are not too far from there. You do have to walk some to get to the nicer areas but it wasn't too bad for me. I loved the fact that my the room had hot shower. Peru in general don't have climate controlled rooms, so it was cold at night and a hot shower with a hot tea was super good at night. Beds had extra wool blankets. Free Wifi was good. The attendant was very friendly and I was offered hot tea as a welcome.
Cons: I was there during the pandemic and I was traveling alone so the place was empty most of the times so there was no other people to talk to. That's about the only thing I did not like which is pretty much nothing the establishment could do other than maybe having a better post pandemic season.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Kind, helpful, friendly staff. Plant-lined courtyard. Scrambled eggs and coffee!
Cons: Weak, soft floor that I constantly worried I would break through. Tight space for 4 adults traveling with luggage for each.
Okay 5,0
Pros: It was very good to deal with booking.com
Cons: The hotel we booked deal with us as we paid very little money that the way to give us the very poor room upstairs. So what explain in booking wasn’t true.
Good 7,5
Cons: The curtain weren't that opaque and there was a safety light right in front the window which means the room was lighted all night long
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Breakfast was really nice and everything was homemade! Accommodation was clean and staff was very very helpful and kind. Apart from shower and location, everything was good.
Cons: Location was a bit too far from the centre. Especially when you are struggling with high altitude, it takes quite a long time to go to the main square, etc. We stayed at 3rd floor, and shower sometimes just became cold, and then became hot a bit later, repeated a few times. Our guess was the hot water is intercepted by other floor users...?

Excellent 9,6
Pros: Everything was excellent
Cons: It’s a short walk from the train but it’s uphill.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Great shower, good bed, clean, friendly and nice breakfast
Cons: Not in centre of Cuzco. Although this is also an advantage: it is on our way to Puno and near the airport.

Mediocre 2,0
Pros: The staff was all wonderful. The restaurant and bar upstairs were superb. Yeferson and Jhon took great care of us every night.
Cons: I heard they laid off their staff and didn’t pay them for the work they had done. I will change my review to all glowing when I learn the hotel takes care of the staff that took such great care of us.
Good 7,0
Pros: The Polo Suites is walking distance from Wanchaq Train Station (which is the terminal for the bus/train "bi-modal" Peru Rail train to/from Machu Picchue during the rainy season. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and its facilities. I checked in at around 10 pm without any problem. The room was huge, with hardwood floors, comfortable bed, large bathroom, and fast free wifi. The room also had new smart TVs where you could use apps like Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, etc. Breakfast was on the top/12th floor and had a wide range of offerings.
Cons: As stated earlier, the Polo Suites is very convenient to Wanchaq Train Station. The distance to Plaza de Armas is about a 20 minute uphill walk, which is manageable for most, but a consideration.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean and modern. Really big rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was really nice. Top restaurant gives you 360 view of the city.
Cons: Small radiator for big room, might get cold sometimes.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The room was clean and clean sheets. Good free breakfast
Cons: The noise comes through the widows and the street can be busy.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Good breakfast Confortabile bed Helpful staff (on request they prepared packed breakfast on days with early trips)
Cons: Cold bathroom
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were very helpful and could help as as spoke English quite well. Lovely view of Cusco and nice area.
Cons: No air con but we could open a window which was great.
Good 7,5
Pros: A clean, honest hotel with a restaurant on the top floor with 360 views of Cusco. Very good English speaking receptionist. The Peru Hop /Bolivia Hop terminal is 2 minutes walk from the hotel, on the same street.
Cons: There is nothing we did not like, and there is nothing that was exceptional.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Staff, facilities, high rise
Cons: No A/c in room. It was a bit cold.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Large, comfortable, clean and attractive rooms Front desk staff is excellent , very helpful, and knowledgeable about both Cuzco and outlying areas (Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, etc.)
Cons: Breakfast is ok, but the crew that attends to tables and oversees the breakfast buffet is lackadaisical bordering on indifferent (tables and floors aren't cleaned after guests leave, coffee urns run completely out, no cold milk for cereal) Interior noise is loud due to an open central staircase, early tour bus departures, and inconsiderate guests
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Love it and recommended to everyone >>!!! :)
