The Westward Inn is set up Mitel style where you can park your car in front of your room. It was easy to find, easy to check in even though we arrived late (9pm) the front desk was manned and the woman was polite. She had my reservation details ready and was helpful with breakfast suggestions and check out procedures. The room was clean (smelled clean as soon as you opened the door) and the bed was comfortable. The room is basic and amenities are there but also basic (in plastic pouches like condiments 😎). Everything was good and no complaints. The room could use a little updating (a few dings in the walls etc) but perfect for a quick overnight stay with plenty of parking and easy in and out. I would stay again if I’m Crescent City.
