The location of the hotel is very central, close to shopping area and in walking distance to cologne cathedral and train station. Unfortunately, the street looks very threatening especially when you arrive at late hours. If you do not expect comfort the hotel might meet your needs, a clean room and bath, one bottle of water (but without glasses) and a TV, but nothing more.
The building is quite old but, in my opinion, the real problem is that the atmosphere is very cold and additionally I didn't feel in security, although nothing happened.

Perfect location, good breakfast.
The hotel is not bad, just fine for a short business stay. Price absolutely exaggerated! We paid the room 362.50 EUR for one night as if it were the most luxurious hotel in the city, which is definitely not.
