They at least called to tell me the car I was to pick up that day, but had rented online a few days prior, was not availableCons:
If they had called me before the day of the rental. The woman said they had been sold out of cars for days. I had rented it 2 or 3 days prior so they rented me a car that did not exist. They could have served me better to not rent me a car at all. Just tell me they aren't available so I don't have to end up paying more someplace else8,0 Very Good

1. the car smelled like cigarettes. 2. They did not have the class of vehicle which I reserved, and I was given the worst vehicle i've driven in my life. I needed a car for a golf trip, and the vehicle I was given couldn't even fit 1 bag of golf clubs in the trunk.4,0 Mediocre

The staff at Hertz Rental Car were helpful & friendly. The car was comfortable & was the best price out there. The office was in a location that was easy to get to.Cons:
The Hertz location that I went to did not accept debit cards. It would have made my experience much better if I had been informed of that ahead of time as I had to go back home to get my credit card. Even better, I thought they did not have a viable reason for not accepting debit cards in the first place.2,8 Poor

Pros:
it was very straightforward to take public transit to this Thrifty location from Logan, for no charge and it took perhaps a half-hour which I thought fast. My car performed well and was both new and clean on the inside.2,0 Poor

They don't have any information. Their policies are waste. Their toll charges are compulsory if you don't take it they put fine on you. Thier insurance charges are ao high. Just having car charges low as compared to other companies doesn't matter overall thrifty is super expensive including all insurance toll and other services. They don't have decent cars too.8,4 Very Good

I had booked my car rental 4 months in advance to ensure I would get the car I wanted for a road trip through New England. However, when I got to Thrifty they said they could not find the keys for the car I had requested. I had wanted a small car to save on gas mileage and the elevation I would be driving on. Instead they gave me a mid size car that went through a lot of gas. Also, the car reeked of cigarette smoke. The smell was so strong we had to invest in air freshners which did very little for the smell. I had tried spraying perfume as well which was only a momentary fix. We kept the windows down for most of the drive. When we would turn on the AC, a very sour smell would come through the vents. Also, we had been told rolls would be covered; however, before leaving we told the car had not been registered to EZ Pass so we would be responsible for all tolls, which added up. Long story short, do not rent from this company.6,4 Okay
