Would have appreciated a cleaner car. Other than that staff was very helpful and kind. Don't appreciate the absurd change of price when checking car out. Guess that's what happens when you get a car rental from a third party seller.9,2 Wonderful

The rental agency was listed as being 'in terminal'.Cons:
When I went to the Budget counter, they were closed and sign directed me to go to Avis counter with one agent and a line of people. When I finally got my car, I went out to find it was covered with at least 6" of snow on the entire car and all around the car. I went back to the counter and complained and then they sent someone out who cleaned only the windows, but not the roof nor the hood or trunk. Once I started driving, the snow fell from the roof into the rear window, blocking my view. I had no equipment to clean snow off a car and I wasn't dressed for such. Also, because the car was covered with snow, it was impossible to assess the vehicle for existing damage prior to my acceptance of the vehicle. When I went to drop off the car, the desk was closed with sign staying to record the mileage and drop the key into a lock box. Since it was raining hard and would take at least 5-8 minutes to go back into the rain to research the milage, I didn't do it. Also, there were no available empty spaces in the section of the lot that was listed as 'Budget', so I parked it in a Hertz parking spot, since no one was there to direct me in any way.Avis

Cons:
When I arrived for pickup there was a sign on the door saying the office was closed and to drive to the airport an hour away for my vehicle. The confirmation email never said anything. No call from the office to say anything had changed. After a two hour drive and then 2 hours on the phone to talk to a human being to try to get some sort of refund I was unsuccessful because I had "prepaid" the reservation. Any other company would have been able to credit my account with some sort of refund to accommodate the inconvenience. Nope, not Hertz. A gift voucher was all that they would offer. Not sure I will use Hertz again even with a $50 voucher. Very poor communication4,8 Mediocre

A cleaner car would have been appreciated , considering how Hertz is promising "Every vehicle will be sealed and certified ‘Hertz Gold Standard Clean’ after undergoing a 15-point cleaning and sanitization process that follows U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines." Interior was dirty, the back of car covered in bird droppings. Very obvious this vehicle was never touched after last rental.10,0 Wonderful

Both Ellen and George were super friendly and helpful on the phone. Ellen was totally awesome when i arrived (finally) to get the car. Very quick and easy pick up. Very accommadating. The car was imaculate.Cons:
nothing.... drop off easy - asking for the return milage was a little "frustrating" as i had NO idea... but because Ellen was so awesome - i just noted i did not know and feel very confident that is ok9,6 Wonderful

Pros:
Staff was friendly and helpful - it was challenging with the enhanced cleaning protocols plus they had a huge number of rentals for the day I was renting. They were doing what they needed to do under challenging circumstances. Good job!Cons:
