Pros:

The didn’t have the car reserved. So instantly go a upgrade, the car was perfect for my drive to San Francisco. And looking back I don’t think I would of nearly enjoyed as much with the original car I picked. While doing the vehicle inspection I did not notice the car had a nail in the front passenger tire luckily it did not pop on my trip I noticed it took it to an enterprise unfortunately they did not have a car nearly as nice as the one I was driving so they preferred that I take it to a qualified tire repair shop and have them bill enterprise. They were very nice and didn’t bill me the entire day. And it took maybe 4 hours I had the car by 4 pm.

Cons:

The car had 15% oil life and I noticed it probably halfway through California so completely pointless to stop and get an oil change I just drove it until it hit zero and luckily that was about 20 minutes outside of LA on the way back home. Not a big deal when you deal with as many cars as they do.

The back seat of the mini van wasn’t very clean.

Cons:

Having cars ready for people with reservations and sticking to scheduled pickup times. I had a reservation for 9am pickup and car wasn't ready until 10am.

Overnight rental price jumped from $38/night to $63/night. Ridiculous increase from initially intended Thurs. evening to Fri morning actual pick up time.

Suppose to pick up car at noon….I stood outside in a line of 6…no cars available, (one lady had been waiting since 10AM). The agent said they might have a car for me at 2pm. I had gotten a ride w Lyft to get to Hertz. I went and ate lunch…at 1:58PM I received my vehicle…not fun waiting.

This location is away from the airport and was seriously understaffed. The poor employees were doing the best they could but it definitely led to an increased wait time for me to get my vehicle. Also, this location has no set up for after-hours drop off. I had to return the veh to the airport if I wanted to return it after hours and not pay an extra fee. The cost to return it to a location near Disneyland was going to be over $60.00. Lastly, this address is listed as E South Ave on this site but that’s incorrect. It’s just South Ave. Our Lyft driver’s GPS took us to E South Ave and it’s residential. We checked Yelp and found out it’s just South Ave and had to pay $10.00 more for a second Lyft trip.

Can’t really provide a full experience review since a day before my scheduled rental pick up date I get a call from the local office telling me that they don’t have an available rental for me. As a standard customer service practice, it would be expected for them to take the initiative and find an alternate vehicle for your reservation, yet I was told that if I wanted another vehicle, to call the 1-800 number and speak to someone for them to find me another vehicle. Since my trip was coming up in a few hours, I needed to find a solution ASAP, so I called. I was able to find an alternate vehicle but with a price increase and a price adjustment or honor of the original price was not an option. So, for future rentals I am not sure if I would trust the company for my trips.
