Again didn't get a vehicle I was promised so didn't get rent a car this is 2 years straight they didn't get me a van after I was promised

Pros:

It was very easy process to pick up the car. The rep was very friendly and made sure we knew everything we need to know about the car.

Cons:

The car need a better cleaning. The front window was streaky and better vacuuming of the car would have been appreciated.

I reserved a car that wasnt available and had to travel an hour to another location to get a vehicle. Once there I was given a filthy car that had a nail in the tire. When the tire went flat I was charged for them to change the tire, that took over an hour, then was told I could not drive the car on the spare and would have to exchange the car but they didnt have one available so I was to wait where I was for a regional manager to locate a car and call me back. 4+ hours later I was tired of waiting so I started calling different locations until I found a location with a car available. I drove to that location because they do not "pick you up" That location was friendly and exchanged the car for me painlessly but again I was given a dirty car. Now I have to turn this car in late... Due to the 5+ hour delay and will be charged another day for it.

Set up rental car pick up date, time vehicle, online. Then the date of pick up, received a call stating there were no cars available. Let my family rushing to locate another car with another company.

We did not use Hertz because, even though I reserved a one way rental on the website, we get there and we’re unable to fulfill the reservation. They stated that they don’t do one ways. Wasted our time and money since we had to get an Uber to get there. Highly disappointed.

What could have been better? Having the truck I rented being ready at 11:00 when I was supposed to pick up. Was offered a mini-van as a replacement. Not gonna work. Specifically rented a truck because I needed a truck. Was told by the smug jerk off employee that there was supposed to be a truck returning at 2:00PM. That doesn’t much help me at 11:00AM, DOES IT? Totally screwed up my plans for the weekend. Thanks for the inconvenience.

The agent at the desk didn’t look at us when we walked up to the desk and didn’t even say hello when we said hello to her. We waited as she wrote in a paper and my husband said, “um, we have a reservation.” The agent said back, “name.” No hello, nothing kind or friendly. She then said, “we don’t have a car for you. I tried to call you.” She hadn’t. I had no missed calls, no emails, nothing. She was VERY rude, didn’t apologize, didn’t try to help us, NOTHING. Horrible customer service, very rude, and we ended up have to cancel our entire trip. This agent needs serious training or to be fired immediately. Wildly disappointed and will be sharing this story with others.

Was able to find a car (which is pretty difficult now days) and got an upgrade to a Toyota RAV4 when we arrived. Pickup and dropoff was very easy, car we rented was excellent and the price was very reasonable.
