Pros:I was sitting at the Philadelphia airport waiting for my flight when I received a call from Avis telling me that they would be closed when I arrived at 9:48 from Chicago. I live in a remote rural area, and was completely stranded in Duluth. It seems to me that
Cons:It seems to me that if you have a car rental, someone should stay at the desk until the last flight comes in. The later, the more urgent this is.
Pros:Cost 225 and staff
Pros:Easy and fast pickup, friendly staff.
Pros:Yes, easy pickup and drop off.
Cons:All was good.
Pros:Great staff, great car, seamless process
8,4 Very Good
Pros:Staff was helpful. Extended the reservation to one week because I wasn’t sure how long I would need the car and then dropped it back down to the original price when it was only one day after all.
Cons:Low comfort rating is because the car (2019 Volkswagen Jetta) beeped loudly whenever the door was open while idling. I was delivering newspapers and over 7 hours I had to open the door probably 150 times. Fried my nerves and I have never despised a car so much in my life. But not Avis’ fault.
Pros:The woman working was very helpful, and knowledgeable.
Pros:The agent confirmed she would remain there beyond the usual closing time if my flight arrived later. She was extremely nice and did not try to push additional options. I received better vehicle than expected. The agency and the vehicle were at the terminal.
Cons:Everything went great.
Pros:Pick up and drop off very easy and positive. Nice vehicle to make for a great trip
Pros:Alexa is the branch manager in Duluth at Central Entrance. She was extremely helpful in a very busy time. I was stuck with a car that just didn't work for us, and she was able to move things around to enable myself and my kids to make it back to Minneapolis to catch our flight. outstanding customer service. Very efficient as well.
Pros:Easy to reserve on line.
Cons:Showed up & they wanted an additional amount for the rental as well as a deposit. Nothing is mentioned about this hen you te reserve on-line about additional fees or deposits. This was a nonairport Location. So t rent at this location again.
Pros:Great staff at Enterprise in Duluth. Very accommodating staff. Will use again in the future.
Cons:The car would chug when you are starting to accelerate after being at a stoplight. When I returned the car I let them know of the problem only to find out it is a feature on the car for emissions/fuel economy? It would have been nice to know that ahead of time.
Pros:fast service got a better car than expected
Pros:I was greeted warmly right away, and taken care of immediately. When I needed to extend my rental, it was handed very easily over the phone. When I brought the rental back, I was given a driver immediately to take me over to the repair shop where my vehicle was.
Cons:I can't think of anything.
8,0 Very Good
Pros:Car was nice, Mitz Outback. Staff was very accomodating and friendly.
Cons:I would not have changed anything.
Pros:Linda was super nice and helpful. Pick up and drop off couldn't have been easier.
Cons:I could smell that someone had smoked in the car before, but they kept the car nice a clean.
Cons:The 23+% sales tax was Highway Robbery, nobody told me about that !!
Pros:the drop off guy was great
Cons:they over charged me, i had to walk the parking lot to dig my rental out of snow, they didn’t release my deposit right away.
Cons:Duluth in general is ridiculoudly expensive for car rentals. More competition is needed.
Pros:I made my reservation online to rent a car on 1/30/2017 and bought the auto insurance to go with it. The charge of $45 was billed immediately and I was to pay for the car when I checked in. He told me I couldn't get the car bc I didn't have a Credit Card in my name...I was upset bc I've never been denied a rental before and it was a huge inconvience for me. I didn't complain, and went on my way. However, the insurance charge is still showing on my account and was never reversed at time of check in. I asked the employee who worked front desk, but he said he couldn't help me. How do I go about getting these charged reversed? Thank you for your time, Holly Thomas
Pros:Price, car was clean, I was able to book easily online (and at the last minute).
Cons:No economy available, was given a Ford Focus (which has terrible visibility). Also wish there was a pick-up and drop-off downtown rather than only the airport option.
