Pros (+) Food was ok. The French restaurant was very good. Their onion soup was superb.
Cons (-) For a resort that advertises that gratuities and taxes are included in the price the staff seem to only want to serve you if they know you would give tip. Very rude reception staff. They were very unapologetic when we were complaining about dangerous paint fumes seeping in from the lower room. My spouse felt dizzy and almost fainted after a few seconds in the room. Cons (-) The buffer was terrible and the noises was so bad you can hear every noise around you and the music from some night club is so loud from 10pm to 2am and our room was all the way at the end and house keeping would clean room but don't leave is with any towels had to call house keeping 2 times after 1 hour they bring the towels . Cons (-) - Slow in check in process (and lobby witout AC, its a sauna) - Only 3 elevators for the whole hotel and one was broken. And again, a its a sauna. Pros (+) Staff were great, a la carte restaurants were awesome and the beach was amazing. Staff in the buffett, a la cartes and beach bar specifically were great.
Cons (-) Beds weren't the most comfortable but not a big issue. Lots of great staff but a lot of bars were understaffed making for long lines. Elevators were continuously down for maintenance and were very slow.

Pros (+) It is great for those families traveling with kids. They have at least 4 swimming pools, plus a dedicated kids swimming/playing area with slides and other activities. Kids loved it. The food was also pretty good, even though it is an all inclusive and taking into account the quantity of food they have to prepare.
Cons (-) The hotel shows its age (about 30 years old). Starting with the lobby and the receptionist desk, you can tell on the walls and ceiling that it has had its damages and repairs. The staff was okay, but I've dealt with nicer staff at other hotels.
