Pros: The room was comfortable and clean. The location was decent in that we could walk to a few places. Hotel staff very friendly and the barista was also super kind in packing up a few pastries to go for us.

9,1 Excellent
Pros: Bartenders were amazing! Front staff was great too, but we were disappointed that they didnt at least offer us a free dessert/breakfast/something when the air in our second room broke during one of the hotter days that they have had. Made sleeping pretty difficult. They did bring us a fan, but that just circulated warm stuffy air.
Cons: While the service, staff and hotel cleanliness were all first rate, little things like a clogged shower (we had to take military showers to avoid an overflow), running toilet and broken a/c unit in one of our two rooms prevent us from giving them 5 stars.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location and the room was very comfortable. The pool is very good.
Cons: We stayed in room 326 and the air con wasn’t working and there was no cold water in the bath. The shower hot and cold temps were a bit iffy as well. I’ve stayed in the strand multiple times before and this was the first time we had a problem so we were probably just unlucky with the room. It wouldn’t put me off staying there again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and modern hotel. Room was spacious and food available for room service or in the restaurant was very good. Location was just across the river from the city center. Very short walk to attractions.
Cons: No complaints

Cons: Room was a bit too warm.
5,0 Okay

9,0 Excellent
Cons: I struggled to master use of the lifts with the room keycard.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Goats cheese salad from the bar menu was fab
7,9 Good
Pros: Leisure centre and location were lovely
Cons: The shower head wouldn’t stay upright/broken. Ordered room service as no tables in the restaurant downstairs for NYE (our own fault for not booking) - mix up in the kitchen and they brought two meals instead of three...and after two of us had finished eating the third meal came which was a bit of a let down.

Pros: Hotel was lovely and staff were very friendly. Bed was very comfortable!
Cons: The property is rated as a 5 star hotel but in reality it’s more 4 star. The dresser in the room was worn and scuffed and the television was far too small for the size of the room. The entrance hallways and corridors were underwhelming

Pros: food available at the bar was very good, location was excellent, car park was very near and safe. Staff were very helpful on check in. Room was nice good black out curtains and no noise from the road outside.

Pros: I had to work, so I didn't get to enjoy all the facilities as I would have liked. (e.g. dinner, the fitness centre) However, if I'm returning to Limerick / University district again, I will definitely try to book here again. Lovely food, incredibly welcoming and helpful staff. Pros: A lovely warm friendly hotel, I had the vegetarian breakfast which was delicious, we ate in the library as we had no children with us and it was a quiet relaxing breakfast,.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: setting was nice...could walk to surrounding places, things to do.
Cons: rooms weren't ready when we got there which was fine because we walked around but then when we came back a bus load had come in checking in and we then had quite a wait.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Well, ... to be frank, in the beginning - after very quiet Castle Hotels before and a fascinating but long day in the car - I was a bit shocked, since the Castle Hotel is basically in the direct vicinity of the highway (it was the last night before flying back to Munich and I wanted to have something nice (Castle, Signature) for the family, two adult daughters) ... but then, it turned out, that inside the Hotel there was almost no noise from the highway and insofar this fact was forgotten very soon ... with nice and stylish furniture, fireplace, friendly check-in and - most of all - an overwhelmingly friendly young lady and other staff in the restaurant/bar, where we got a delicious vegan curry, excellent wine, Guiness and Gin Tonic (try the Irish Gin!) in the evening after the Sauna ...the breakfast in the small library (since there were only a few guests) was relaxing and nice without the sometimes buffet stress with people walking around like at a subway station. The various breakfasts from the menu looked all great and the vegetarian breakfast ! was as healthy (toast, poch. egg, thinned spinach, avocada) as delicious; staff was also very friendly and efficient there. We were the only ones using the small Sauna area and Pool, which was perfectly nice as well after two breathtaking and stormy and cold hours at the Cliffs of Moher... We stayed in the Hotel the first week in January with only a few guests staying in the Hotel and 2 big executive rooms on the backside not facing the highway ... so after the "shock" in the beginning the stay turned out to be a nice final of our short family trip and the whole family will keep the one week in this great country (Dublin, Galway, Clifden, Adare) in very good memory
Cons: .. maybe, redirect the highway and place it a few kilometers away from the Hotel ;-) ...
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very pleasant and friendly- at reception, at breakfast and cleaning staff. Our stay was very good value for money and the location was close to all of the leisure activities we wanted to do and see. It was a nice time to visit as it was relatively quiet. The hotel was really easy to get to and easy to find- right off the motorway.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived very late at night and waited in the lobby for about 10 'inured before someone came to greet us. We received our room key then tried to go to our room. Arrived at our room and the key didn't work. My boyfriend went back downstairs and got a new key came back upstairs and that key didn't work. Went back downstairs then the man in the lobby accompanied him back up to see for himself that the key didn't work. We all went back downstairs and he changed our room an gave us an upgrade for our troubles. Nice enough place, breakfast was good and ample parking
Cons: Smells a little musty but that's just because it's really old
4,0 Okay
Pros: Comfortable room, good breakfast, close to Bunratty Castle
Cons: When we arrived there was a wedding reception in the foyer and the queue for check in was out the door. We had to awkwardly wait a long time to check in and then our room wasn't ready (after 15:30). I then suggested I get food in the bar while we waited, however there were no tables due to volume of wedding guests everywhere so we had nowhere to wait for our room so we had to go elsewhere to wait, even though we were pressed for time. When we returned and our room was ready, we then had to try to navigate through a throng of wedding guests to get to the elevator. The staff were very nice but overall I found that the service was substandard considering the star rating and cost of room. Although I appreciate that when I stayed it was a busy night in the county, when I asked for a taxi to the city they told me they couldn't get one and were not particularly helpful in finding a solution.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly especially girl on reception. On our way to funeral and discovered my daughter left her jacket at home. Reception staff went out of their way to find something suitable and we returned item on way back from funeral...thankyou.

Pros: Breakfast had a good selection of buffet items and also an à la carte menu
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely big comfortable bed! Food in the bar was lovely!
Cons: Disappointed they didn’t have the Munster rugby match on any of the TVs in the hotel
5,0 Okay
Pros: Cheap and had a spa/thermal area and outdoor jacuzzi
Cons: The spa/leisure centre area needs attention. The floor was covered in hair and dirt and was not very hygienic. I won’t be back.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It’s very well maintained, decor a little dated in the rooms, but all in all had everything we needed. Bar Waitress took an order for food from us for a takeaway pizza and gave our room a call when ready, did offer to deliver it too but we collected. The Spa was very nice, and their staff excellent too. We were offered a free upgrade on check in, receptionist called it a Business class room, it didn’t seem any improvement on what I would have expected of the Superior double we booked.
Cons: Minor things. Chairs in the relaxation room don’t allow you to lie down. Pool is small and was very busy with children, this didn’t bother me in the slightest but is something to bear in mind for adults looking for a quiet pool. We’ll return to this Hotel because it’s very family friendly.

Pros: The location is perfect.
Cons: Showers were cold upon our arrival. We advised hotel reception. Nothing was done about it. We had cold shower the following morning - not what we expected of a Radisson.

Pros: Inexpensive. Staff brought a fan to room.
Cons: Hotel needs updating! So old and worn down. No AC for over two years!

Pros: Host was outstanding! We had a tire puncture in the countryside near the cliffs of Mohar on a Sunday late eve which greatly delayed our arrival. When we pulled up at 11 pm he welcomed us with true Irish humor and carried our bags to our room for us. Room cosy and inviting. Hot water kettle available to make proper cup of tea prior to bed. Comfortable beds!Delicious breakfast the next day ! Highly recommend you make a reservation!
