I stood in a line for an hour to get my rental car at Vero beach.. 3 people behind the counter moving at snails pace. When I got to the front of the line,, the service person told me she needed to go somewhere and I should just wait and someone would bring me a car. She just shrugged when I said that my pickup time was an hour ago. It was ridiculous. Even the people returning their cars had to stand in this same line for an hour. It took about and hour and a half to finally get out of that airport.Reviewed Mar 5 2024

I was rented a 2019 VW Teajan that reaked of tobacco smoke. I know that VB is a small location but staff seemed less organized than any of my previous rental experiences. I expected to drive a Ford Edge or something similar. I thought it was unusual to drive a five-year old car. Was it because I arranged through Kayak?Reviewed Jan 30 2024

Cons:There is an employee there that everybody finds quite not the friendliest sort!!. Fortunately I had another employee(female) the day I returned the car and did not deal with this (male) employee.Reviewed Nov 14 2018

Everything was great EXCEPT the car had ants.Pros:The pick-up and return were easy and fast. The attendants were very friendly and helpful. The price was exactly as arranged.Cons:The car must have ants in the undercarriage. The didn't bite, but were annoying. I almost stopped driving but we were able to keep them away with wipes. We were on a tight schedule on a one-way trip or I would have gone back to exchange it...Reviewed Feb 26 2018
