When I showed up a half hour after my rental time to pick up my rental car, they said there would be a half hour to 40 minute wait for my rental car. I said I had a reservation and the man at the counter gestured to a group of people (maybe 20) sitting on the side and said "so do all of these people and they have to wait for their cars too." He told me that the cars were on site but just needed to be cleaned. They wouldn't finish checking us in until our car was "ready" and said they would call us up to the desk at that time. Other than having to wait in a long line to get my car before, I've never been told that my car wasn't ready. I was lucky to not have to be anywhere right away which is different than other work trips.Reviewed Oct 9 2026

The pickup/drop off process, esp the drop off is very efficient. I didn’t like the car I was given. I’m always given an old car - in terms of mileage and the features in the car. I’d like to understand why.Reviewed Jul 28 2026

Picked up car and it was filthy. Should have went back in office and told them but took it home and cleaned it. Was very happy with the price.Reviewed May 6 2026

So my flights into GR got cancelled and Qeeq (the company I made my reservation with) did an excellent job helping me get refunded even though I was not within my 24 hour prior cancellation time. They communicated very well on everything and I would use them and Budget again.Reviewed Mar 20 2026

Budget overcharged my by over $100 from the agreed upon price for no reason which they also did the last time I rented from them forcing me to deal with customer service to "prove" my original agreed upon rental price which I will have to do again.Reviewed Nov 9 2025

It was awful. Upon arriving was informed there were no vehicles in the premium class I had reserved. Was put in a small SUV. I own and drive a Cadillac. I did not want an SUV. I did not reserve an SUV. No other option I’m told. Go to vehicle and tires are bald! Was switched to another SUV. Tires bald. Third try another SUV. Tires were good. There was a dirty diaper by the door I had to step around. I will never rent from Budget if there’s any other option.Reviewed Jun 22 2025

The vehicle was great however when I arrived after I had previously reserved a vehicle I was told they didn’t have any vehicles outside a pickup truck and 12 passenger van. I then waited about 45-60 minutes until a returned vehicle was ready. The vehicle was comfortable however it smelled like someone had been smoking weed in it. Overall it was a very average rental experience.Reviewed Mar 8 2025

I reserved Pacifica or similar and got Pacifica, and the car itself was nice. That's what I liked. Everything else was not. Car was filthy, smelled like a dog and had a lottttt of dog hair all over it inside. It had trash left in the trunk and there was a plastic bag with something that looked like a diaper inside, I didn't look inside, it was disgusting. I've also returned the vehicle 2 days earlier and it was only $25 less. When I was returning g the vehicle, I asked the return agent to provide me a receipt and she said it would be emailed to be and price adjusted, bit if I knew it would be only $25 less I would ha e kept the car 2 more days. I was in Florida so we had to return early because hurricane was coming. They should have AT LEAST informed me of what I would be charged when I was returning, especially after I asked.Reviewed Oct 14 2024

We weren't told about a deposit, the gas door wouldn't open so we could not refill, Budget keeps changing the price and taking extra money.Reviewed Oct 3 2024
