Horrible…received a VM just prior to them closing on 12/23 telling me there were no cars available and to call customer service. Called CS and was told to call other local offices to see if they had a car available. Suggested they were CS and perhaps they could assist. They did locate a car for me but indicated the car would be $81/day as opposed to the $41/day per my confirmed reservation saying “prices are not fixed”. I did attempt to contact other local offices but they had closed hours earlier. On morning of 12/24 went to local office to see what might be available as I supposedly had a free upgrade. I was told there were no cars and to call customer service. I told the manager I was upset he called just before closing and did not answer the phone at 2:50pm when they were supposed to be open until 3pm and he just shrugged. I was told our price was for downtown and not airport. The difference was $450 instead of $150. Then, he proceeded to say he could get me down to $350, but the only question he asked was if I wanted to prepay gas and that was a no. He added $200 in insurance which I have never taken. Cons:Very unprofessional treatment. Booked a van 7 6 months in advance. Verified online week of trip. Tried to verify with pick up location but they do not answer phone... claimed a phone problem. Received phone call 18 hours before pickup saying they had no vans avail and were giving me a Ford Explorer. This was too small for 6 adults. Was given no discount and no larger options. Had to make do. Day of pickup, car was dirty, smelled of smoke and marred by someone’s previous application of decals. Made do anyway. On drop off, was charged an additional incorrect $60 hourly fee until I protested. Hand written signs at location threatend increased cleaning fees and that renters needed to vacuum their own car before returning. Very unprofessional overall. Will avoid this Budget/Avis location when possible in future.Reviewed May 31 2021

Pros:Staff apologeticCons:I reserved a car for 2 days from the date reserved and had a confirmation number. Was called by them a half hour before pickup time to tell me they had no cars to rent and none at other locations nearby. Told me to call 1-800 number to see if they could help me locate a car. Was difficult to understand agent because of the the Indian accent at the 1-800 number. I tried twice to get different agent. Prefer USA reps, please. They ended up telling me there were cars an hour away. Said forget it and cancelled reservation. Will not be doing business with them again. Thankfully Enterprise car rental was able to help on such short notice and on a Sunday.Reviewed Jan 20 2021
