Pros: Everything was just perfect! Location next to St.Stephan church, the Christmas market, restaurants, shops... The staff is very kind, breakfast was excellent, and we had a bonus wine and cheese bar in the afternoon with a live music.

Pros: Beautiful hotel. Lovely staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good spa, good design, comfortable, good location and good connectivity
Cons: Little bit low quality if breakfast
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Music theme in the hotel - originality and knowing you’re not staying in a chain hotel. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. The High Note Bar with the amazing views was exceptional. The live music between 4.00-6.00pm was a welcome break in the day.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location, room, spa... interior itself... wonderful. afternoon wine and cheese tasting... wonderful. Breakfast... very good.
Cons: Experience with staff highly dependable on luck. Some were beyond professional and kind while others (more than one) were completely uninterested and lack will to help. Once it was even obvious that we were not treated well because the members of staff didn’t like us. Compared to ours previous experience this was lacking in service.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: amazing location , staff are so inviting and cheerful giving you the comfort and relax experience throughout your stay
Cons: beautiful all in grate taste and high quality
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was excellent, we stayed in the James Brown Room. We also had an excellent couples massage in the Harmony Spa followed by rooftop yoga at the high note bar the next morning. Breakfast and the free wine and cheese were excellent. The staff were attentive and met all our needs with exceptional service.
Cons: Nothing, our stay was excellent.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to 2 metro stops and a trolley line. Beautiful decor inside. All day complimentary coffee/ cappuccino, water, and snacks was great. Breakfast was generous; you could even have a glass of bubbly.
Cons: I wish they had wash cloths and hair conditioner. Not a big deal but it would’ve been nice.

Cons: The breakfast could be better
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service, impeccable hotel, terrific location, great breakfast, and excellent bistro bar for cocktails!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel! Our room was spacious, luxurious, clean and quiet - couldn’t wish for me. Also right in the city center. Breakfast was equally great; wide choice of food and drinks. Last but not least: friendly staff.
Cons: Can’t think of anything!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The architecture and decoration was superb. The sleeping room had the darkest curtains and the most comfortable bed so I slept unbelievably good. The staff was very attentive. The breakfast was both hot and cold with excellent coffee.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location couldn’t be better, near the beginning of Andrássy út, one of Budapest’s main arteries that leads to many of the things visitors want to see. The staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We contacted them prior to our visit and they set up transportation from the airport and a dinner reservation at an excellent nearby restaurant (Aszu) for our first night. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and full of options to satisfy everyone. We had to leave very early on our last morning, so they sent us off with food to take with us. I would not hesitate to stay at Hotel Moments again if I’m fortunate enough to return to Budapest.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: As a first time in Budapest, the location of the hotel struck me as perfect. It is a walkable distance to everything. Additionally, the hotel offers quite a lot of additional services to ease your stay. Rooms are very comfortable and indeed you will be indulged in luxury once you walk in.
Cons: Perhaps it is a personal problem, but bed hygiene was really not of good quality. I believe communication reception-housekeeping is lacking as I had to contact reception twice. Other than that all good.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location, general appearance, spacious room.
Cons: One has to ask repeatedly for artificial sweetener. It should be available for self-service.

Pros: Location ...
Cons: Staff could have helped more seeing the cost of the stay..
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The view from my room of th Chain Bridge.
Cons: We booked 5 rooms in February 2019 for a mid December stay. Of these 2 of the 4 rooms were requested by us & confirmed by the hotel in an email to be inter connecting. It was indicted to the hotel that there were to be 4 children in the group all under 10 years of age. On arrival to the hotel only one inter connecting room was allocated. The other rooms were adjacent but not inter connecting. An upgraded room, slightly larger in size was offered & accepted to the family of 4, but it was on the opposite side of the corridor. My husband & I had stayed at the hotel the previous year, which was neither recognized nor acknowledged. Not up to the Four Seasons standard.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: There is definitely no reason comparing Four Seasons to other 5* destinations. As a member of the Four Seasons family, Gresham Palace has a lot more to give than BEST STAFF and location. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable. ps. Gresham Palace is pet friendly
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location - directly in front of the Chain Bridge. From the Presidential Suite (which we got for a modest fee - upgrade at check-in) we had panoramic views of the Buda side (including castle). Without exception, the staff were kind, attentive and responsive. Generally, the standard of spoken English was excellent. Next time we're in Budapest, we will certainly be staying here again!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Was their only a couple of day, Not a very good sample period, but the service seemed up to Four Seasons standards. Concierge steered me to a great restaurant next to the basilica.
Cons: Cant really think of anything. They didn't offer to let me drive the Vette out front of the hotel.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is immaculately clean and well presented. Room were also clean and spacious for the 2 of us. The fruits and chocolates on welcome were a lovely touch for my husband’s birthday. At reception all staff are polite and can’t do enough to help. Special thanks to Norbert - I think that his name! Breakfast was delicious with all diets covered, from hot too cold food. The lounge area in reception has a good selection of complimentary hot drinks and water daily till 5pm. The lemon and ginger tea was big hit for my hubby! I also loved the Nespresso machine in the room. All In all a lovely stay!
Cons: This hotel is away from main attraction of Budapest, we used the No 9 bus from the bus stop just around the corner otherwise it’s too far! We booked a double room, unfortunately the bed was too twins put together with a double mattress and the two single duvets! A call to reception and then was resolved.

Pros: Room clean, bed comfortable, breakfast very good, enjoyed coffee machine in the room.
Cons: Only thing I did not like was that the room gets cold when you leave. Heating/AC stays On only when you are in the room. But, it warms up pretty fast. A thing that some people might not like, is the bathroom door, which is a glass door that does not close completly, so it's not exactly a private area.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helped us better plan our nights out with their recommendations. Great hotel, very close to metro and bus station so it was easy to move around the city. Also, the breakfast was very good, with many tasty options for everyone

7,0 Good
Pros: The food
Cons: The beds
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Well located and beautifully appointed. Luxurious. Unmatched breakfast buffet. Responsive, courteous and friendly personnel. Beautiful live music during the evening hours. Fine restaurants in the hotel. No noise in the room. Spacious hallways and common areas. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres in the Executive Lounge. Reasonably priced. Good selection of tv channels and good in-room dining. Good water pressure.
Cons: Pool was ice cold. Supposed to be warm.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Executive Club was good and appreciated. We liked the Espa toiletries. Staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel was a little drab with lots of mahogany and old fashioned colours which dated it, but perhaps that’s mostly a personal observation. The hotel would benefit from smelling a little fresher, I think hotels of this Cali red should have a signature fragrance which is perceptible throughout the building and in all the rooms (it can be subtle but perceptible). This is easily achieved if the desire to improve is there.
Cons: The area the hotel resides is a little rundown, but you can walk or take a taxi to the better areas.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at this hotel is fantastic. Everyone I interacted with-front desk, concierge, servers/bartenders in the lounge and breakfast restaurant, was attentive and clearly concerned about whether or not I was enjoying my stay. The location was perfect.
Cons: Like many European hotels in an older building, the thermostat in the room was a bit tricky. I moved to a downgraded room, just to have a window that opened so I could better control the room temperature. The staff was fantastic in coordinating my move.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else
Cons: Breakfast too busy .No coffee machine in the room
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location. It was a 20 minute walk to the river, or a 5 minute metro ride. Lots of restaurants within a 15 minute walk. The rooms, especially the bathroom was lavishly appointed. The bed and the pillows were exceptionally comfortable.
Cons: I was disappointed to hear that the pool was an extra $15 euros per day to use. I was unpleasantly surprised on my return to see an extra charge of over $200 to my Visa. I have emailed the hotel twice asking for an explanation, so far no response.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a dream come true. Everything was excellent: the customer service second to none, exceptional accommodations, fantastic location, very, very clean , historical hotel but having the most modern and updated features of technology.
Cons: N/A
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice athmosphere, friendly stuff , beautiful christmas decoration, good breakfast, easy parking nice pool.
Cons: Parking is a lil bit expensive compared with other hotels. On the first look, rooms look really nice, but it is easy to see in some corners minor reparations could be necessary. I would say, a better technical maintenance would keep rooms looking newer.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is centrally located. The rooms were very nice and the personnel very helpful and friendly. Great spa facilities.
Cons: No.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The in-room dining Hotel employee was amazing); excellent food. Nice location. Cool souvenir shop. Business center (other hotel employee was helpful).
Cons: Ladies at the reception (checking in/out) were not very friendly. No smile, no greetings, short answer and didn't seem to like their job. I was afraid to ask them any questions. However, all other staff members were cordial and helpful.
1,0 Poor
Pros: The main area beautiful and spa great. Be sure eat at Caviar and Bull it was wonderful,
Cons: Rooms were horrible and AC dud not work.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel. We ordered a superior room without a breakfast, so I can't review the food but we arrived and was immediately upgraded to a deluxe room, which was bigger and more comfortable
Cons: There was a problem with the air conditioning, which didn't make the room cold enough so for the first two days we felt really hot, but the staff did everything they can to help us and eventually arranged a fan for us which was very helpful.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful , our room was upgraded to a much larger room on the apartment side because the hotel was being renovated . The room was spotless and had everything we needed , nice toilettes complimentary chocolate and wine in the room, bathrobes at request. Breakfast was excellent, fresh eggs/ omelette made fresh if requested, fresh fruit juice, there wasn’t anything that they hadn’t thought of. Location was close to everything short walk to most tourist sights, shops, bars restaurants. I would highly recommend to stay at this hotel
Cons: Nothing
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really helpful and good with their job. They offer free warm mulled wine, which is always nice after a cold walk during winter. The breakfast was nice. The location is really good as most of the common places to visit in Budapest are near the hotel. There are also a lot of good restaurants nearby.
Cons: I think the space and interior of the room fell short of my expectations for a 4-star hotel. The room was not well lit as well. With only the room interior in consideration, it definitely is not at par with other 4-star hotels I've been to.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, kind staff, l'occitane amenities, central location, nearby to everything, we didn't have to use public transport. Very tidy and clean.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect!

Pros: Everything about this hotel is excellent
Cons: Everything was great if it had a restaurant it could easily be five star
9,0 Excellent
Pros: the location is great, close to the center and the old Jewish district full of bars and modern contemporary restaurants, the
Cons: even though the booking page of the hotel states there is no need to pay in advance and no money is deducted from your card before the stay, the hotel blocked the sum of our first night 2 weeks before our arrival, and it stayed blocked until the full payment upon our checkout. That from my point of view is a bit deceiving - if the page says no payment before, you except there to be no payment. I am used to the test payments from the hotel to check the card validation but this was quite unpleasant. I communicated it with the hotel, the staff was nice and the whole email communication was explanatory and polite, but that doesn't change the fact about the insufficient info beforehand.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment we were staying (off-site one-bedroom apartment) is new, very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is in a quiet area but the center, many restaurants and shops are just a few minutes walk. If you are traveling with your pet, a dog park is 100 meters away. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Cons: The hotel is modern and well equipped, but it would be appropriate to rebuild the gym, which is located in one very small room opposite the sauna, without air conditioning or air conditioning, equipped with a treadmill, bench and several dumbbells.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent location with perfect facilities Recomended for anyone who will travel to Budapest and is looking for high standard services!
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service, clean and comfortable room. A bit of a walk from the main sites, not a problem for us at all but might be tricky for others (hotel always willing to book taxis though so not really a negative!) Thorougly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
Cons: Limited plug sockets in room. Would have appreciated a vegan butter/spread at breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is nice. The hotel is very nice and the staff helpful. My room was big and also had a balcony. The beds are very comfortable.
Cons: I appreciated the underground parking but it was a little too narrow. It was hard to get out, luckily I went out unscratched :).

Pros: The comfort of the room, very good breakfast and very friendly staff!!
Cons: The shower was not really updated. But working fine.

Pros: Very clean. Very nice hotel.
Cons: The staff was very unfriendly very unprofessional. The room was very, very loud due to the traffic outside. When we addressed the situation the receptionist was very abrasive and not very helpful.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Where to start? I'd say the assistance of the staff was AMAZING!
Cons: The check in experience was less than flattering but once the room details were worked out it's probabky 1 of the top 3 hotels I've eb stayed.
7,9 Good
Pros: The hotel is incredibly beautiful, you almost have the impression to be in a museum. The staff was very nice and always available. The Spa was pleasant, although it needs a bit of maintenance.
Cons: The rooms were far below expectations. Besides the excellent soundproofing, I really didn’t have the impression to be in a 5 stars hotel. On the desk some horrendous nescafe for free, while I’ve been in 4 star hotels with nespresso machines in the room. In the bathroom of my parents’ room, there was a shower with a curtain (not even in hostels) hanging from a half broken stick!! The spa was nice, but the pool a bit cold and half of the showers were broken in the steaming room. Overall, a disappointing experience in a beautiful place. Certainly not a good value for money.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely elegant hotel in a beautiful building with the stunning New York cafe.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Me and my girlfriend stayed here over the Valintines Day weekend. I had let the staff know in advance that I planned to propose and the staff was very helpful in setting up the room to my request. The room was exceptional and service was on point. I visit Budapest frequently and this is one of the best hotels in Budapest.
7,0 Good
Pros: The bed was lovely, had an amazing nights sleep
Cons: The hotel was dated, we initially had to change rooms as there were stains on the walls and carpet as well ad cobwebs, the second was better but you didn’t get the feel of luxury as there will still unclean elements and the decor dated
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning interior, lovely big rooms, great facilities, clean and tidy, helpful staff, amazing breakfast
Cons: Two mattresses pushed together kept coming apart in the night
7,0 Good
Pros: Elegant builing, luxurius hotel and environment. Perfect for urban sightseeing and a downtown experience. Perfectly close to public transport. The hotel seems to be a bit dated and used, and understaffed.
Cons: The overall quality of the room was ok but seemed to be a bit used. I thought that the interrior will be more luxurious. The bathroom did not seem to be perfectly equipped. But still, the bed was very confy and the air conditioning was very good.
7,0 Good
Pros: Really beautiful hotel in very heart of the city. Nice and well equipped bedroom, awesome minibar.
Cons: The spa is absolutely not of a 5* hotel. Really poor and was disappointed.

Pros: I have been planning to stay in Budapest for over a year now. It was really important to me that the hotel has an excellent location and I preferred the spa experience over the view of the Danube. However...
Cons: Only my first day was I able to use the sauna. I was the one who had to discover that it is broken and over heating. I had a burn mark from the previous day and the next morning I discovered that the thermo meter is not working any more it was extremely hot in there and since they could not fix the problem they had to shut it down for the rest of my stay... I was disappointed since that was the reason I booked Kempinski...

Pros: The staff were amazing, they came straight over to us as soon as we got out of the taxi, unfortunately I had an accident at the airport on arrival, a very bad fall and broke my nose and bones in my foot, they got me a wheelchair immediately for use throughout my stay, I thought we would have had to hire one, our room (a deluxe double) on the 7th floor was gorgeous, beautiful towels and bed linen, toiletries were replenished every day, a walk in shower and a bath, the pool area was very nice and the pool temperature was just right, I didn’t use any of the other spa areas as I was very sore and bruised after my fall, the bar areas are lovely, very nice cocktails and food, even though I had great difficulty walking we took advantage of the river cruise and hop on/off bus to see most of the sights and used taxis as well, we loved the Kempinski Hotel and would love to come back without injuries to make full use of the amenities on offer, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Views (once we moved room)
Cons: When we arrived to celebrate our anniversary, we were told we had been allocated a twin room as requested. I showed the staff our confirmation and we were told there were no other rooms available unbelievably until the following day. We returned mid afternoon next day and asked if our new room was ready to be told none available. After insisting they look again an upgraded room was miraculously found to which we moved. Upon checkout we had been charged the upgrade price but only for one of the two nights due to our inconvenience. Do not plan to stay there again.

Pros: You cannot beat the location. This Hilton puts you right in the middle of so much to see and do in Budapest. It’s above the rest, literally! The view from above the city is amazing! I highly highly recommend it.
6,7 Good
Pros: The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. However, the blow dryer is terrible and the room temperature never changed, no matter how many times I adjusted it. The beds were comfortable and the location is amazing.
Cons: The customer service was great at the front desk when I checked in and ended there. I tried to order room service after a long travel day - and couldn’t get a person on the line. It just rang and rang. So I called the front desk and was told quite rudely to call room service and then they promptly hung up on me. Of course, after calling room service again - with no answer again - I called the front desk back again - they told me that they would let the room service attendant know and they would call me back. 15 minutes later - no call. I ended up getting dressed and leaving the hotel to eat after all. This interaction seemed par for the course during my stay. The location was amazing and the facilities were clean and comfortable, otherwise this would not have been a good experience.

7,0 Good
Pros: The room was perfect. The staff were really nice
Cons: The location was a bit far from the center. I wasn’t able to make a bath and a worker couldn’t help as well.
6,7 Good
Pros: Completely new facilities, location, price.
Cons: Room 210 high window towards inside but no view:claustrofobic. Too hot in the room and airco not working. All Cushions provided are same and too high for belly sleepers (old style rolls). Nu curtains to get dark! So all night awake, sweating and with pain in my neck.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless and quiet. They upgraded the room to a suite. The food from the restaurant was lovely. Authentic Italian. I would stay here again and definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was excellent.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location and staff. Had a bit of a wait when checking in which after a late flight wasn’t ideal but staff looked after us and gave us a glass of bubbly to help us relax.
3,7 Mediocre
Cons: We were looking for a boutique hotel off the beaten track but in retrospect should have stayed at the Four Seasons or Intercon where the levels of service are as you would expect. There is no real concierge service at this hotel and the staff at the desk struggled to make recommendations and bookings. House keeping seemed to be annoyed to receive requests and then delivered the wrong items. Generally the service was very poor including cleaning of the room - used glasses were left in our room for 3 days until we specifically requested they be removed. In summary - the only plus point is the location as it is near to St Stephens Basilica but I would strongly recommend you stay at one of the better known hotels near to the Chain Bridge.

Pros: Breakfast, location & staff
Cons: We had booked the corner suit which had a room and a hall, the only downside is that the hall area had almost transparent blinds and the M lounge terrace was overlooking the hall which meant less privacy for us, we avoided using the hall and had to sit in the room all the time

Pros: Staff was nice. It was pretty clean and close to the Gellert bath which is what we were looking for but a bit of a walk from a lot of the tourist attractions, but not terrible. Wifi was really good and overall it was pretty clean.
Cons: Fora for star hotel i definitely expected more. We asked the girl on arrival to get us reservations for massages at the bath and she told us they were booked and no appointments were available. We walked over there ten minutes later and got an appointment for the next morning. Not sure why that is. Breakfast was really disappointing. A lot of bizarre options. Even for the normal things- like the ham and cheese just tasted really bad. The only thing i was able to really stomach was putting some scrambled eggs on a croissant and eating it like a sandwich. I tried just about everything else and couldn’t eat it except for their coconut balls. Everything has something weird about it. My husband felt the same way. The room was definitely on the smaller side even for European standards. I’m a really petite woman and i had difficulty walking around the bed. The shower has no door to close so you had to put a towel down to stop the water running out. There was no shower cap either. There was no place to put your clothes so we had to live out of our bags in the closet like a hobo. There are no drawers to put anything. Had we been staying longer than a weekend i would have found somewhere else to stay.

Pros: Very clean, modern, great location. PERFECT breakfast.

Pros: So central, great location. Fabulous breakfast. Friendly staff, especially Kevin in the bar, helpful and full of information
Cons: The rooms are not sound proof. We were on the 6th floor and disturbed on 2 of our 4 nights by a females moaning noises 3 to 4 times through the night for around 20/30 mins - sounded more like a tape recording but not sure?? Very strange.

Cons: The rooms are very small and tight. If you are looking for a spacious room, this would not work for you.

Pros: This is the best hotel we had ever stayed during our trip in the east europe. Firstly, the staff is friendly and atencious, they provided an early check in, since they realized we were really tired due to our traveling. The room was really cozy and comfortable: they give bottle of water every day for free!! The location was central! But the thing we most like was the breakfast. For sure we will stay there again!!
Cons: We like everything.

Pros: Everything else, except the breakfast. That needs to be upgraded. The personnel is great, very attentive and courteous. I would recommend this hotel just because of them! The rooms (apartments) are super spacious, like real apartments should be and they look nice. The hotel is not so far from the center. Walking distance. All the amenities are there!
Cons: Just a few touch ups here and there in the rooms would've been nice. Some furniture pieces are a tad worn out.

Cons: Everything was perfect!

Pros: Staff was great
Cons: Upsell for very late checkout exceeded cost of entire night. Will never return based on this alone. Rooms shiwing age and could have been cleaner. Too bad because the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Perfect location. The staff was very nice and always interested in giving a good service to the customer. They upgraded our room and we got a wonderful suite. The spa is included and also you can get for free coffee and tea 24 hours. Very clean. You have private access to the 5 stars hotel and preference in the restaurant. The subway is close to the entrance.
Cons: Was very hot at night( central heating)

Pros: Good size room, clean and the staff were friendly.
Cons: The bedding must be washed in strong detergent as my partner and I had very itchy skin most nights. I have sensitive skin anyway but on this trip it flared up a lot which I think was due to the bedding.

Cons: This hotel was offered as a 5* ranked hotel. There is a Boscolo Hotel but this was only an apartment building behind the hotel!!!! NO STAR Rating at all. How the hell can be offered an apartment complex as a 5* hotel???? As i arrived the front desk told me i have NO booking in the Hotel, i have a booking in the apartment complex one block further. As i asked the guy at the front desk he sad they have NO star ranking cause its an apartment complex. This is scam!
