All good internally. Easy car parking.
External landscaping a bit scruffy
The restaurant staff and the spa staff. They were available, welcoming and nice. We managed to get a late night dinner with excellent care. I really enjoyed my two massages, too.
Reception: highly incapable people: the dirty room we complained about (sticky stains on the carpet and walls) got never removed, we got two rooms (one for grandpa), very distant one from the other, our room was tiny and with the extra bed we had no space to move, no bathrobes, no bath rug was provided, it even after request, reception didn’t even answer the phone. Bar: exaggerated prices with extreme snobism, the Hungarian waiter insisted to speak only English with me (also Hungarian). We waited nearly an hour for our sandwiches in the nearly empty bar. Facilities: the spa was old-fashioned and neglected. Neon lights, empty shelves, dirty floor. It would take only little to squeeze some design ideas into their budget.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast choices.
The location is a little bit far from the city centre but transport is easily accessible.
Regarding the things I've liked, I can mention a couple: the king bed was amazing, very comfortable and it offered a good relaxing time; the SPA it was good and also the Breakfast.
Even if I had an upgrade for the Deluxe Room with River View, the view was not something I would have expected. The rooms were old and the ceiling had some spots of dampness. The parking system was awful, there was only once or twice when the camera recorded my car number right, and I got out/in several times in the days spent here. I had to go to the reception and tell them to open manually the barrier and had to wait for some minutes in front of the barrier for somebody to open it. Breakfast was ok, but daily the same thing. Also, when something was finished, even if I was asking for more, they kept saying that it will come and it did, but after 20 mins. No English for the staff in the kitchen. I asked for some amenities, extra, regarding some roses for my wife, but I don't know what happened cause we did not find anything in the room, nor the receptionist knew anything about it.
