Pros: Excellent location just off A1, excellent hosts ...
Pros: Nice soft bedding and soft pillows
Cons: Need Decaf coffee in room
Pros: Wonderful old building, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Very peaceful in a lovely village.
Cons: Quite a narrow steep staircase to our rooms and low beams.
Pros: We arrived quite late on Friday and Leo was accommodating and very welcoming from the start. The hotel is very nice and full of wonderful charm. We stayed in the 'Footmans' room which was very nice, clean and had all the niceties expected. The breakfast is really good and can recommend the the Full English and sets you up for the day. The staff very helpful and attentive even though there was an event on in the evening. A great hidden gem and looking to return in 2020.
Pros: Easily located off the A1. Lovely quiet village location. The Allington Manor is a picturesque period building with lots of lovely features. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and can’t do enough for you. There is also a lovely local pub a short walk away. We’ve been 4 times in a different room each time and we look forward to trying the 2 remaining unexplored rooms. Each with its own character and charm. We’d highly recommend it.
When you stay at The Red House in Grantham, you'll be 8 minutes by car from Belton House. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location great and near good restaurants
Cons: The room was at the basement and so reception was very bad Parking was hit and miss with trying to find space on the main road.
Pros: Great location, lovely women who worked there, clean and a great price!! Plus a cooked breakfast in the morning. Cannot moan for what we paid.
Cons: Could do with brining the room a little upto date but that's being picky
Pros: As always, clean comfortable and friendly welcome.
Pros: I was made to feel very welcome as soon as I arrived, I had a very well equipped room and bathroom, breakfast was fab and freshly cooked too. I will happily stay here again in the future , thank you, Mac
Cons: There was nothing to dislike
Pros: Staff are extremely professional and polite.
Pros: Warm welcome from the staff/owners, beds were very comfortable, breakfast was lovely and the staff very accommodating, excellent customer service. Facilities more than sufficient to meet our needs.
Cons: The hallways, stairs and our private bathroom could do with modernisation, but were clean and functional
Pros: As always very clean and comfortable, close to the town, great breakfast and very friendly staff.
With a stay at The Talbot Hotel in Peterborough, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Elton Hall & Gardens and Fotheringhay Castle. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Ambience and history
Cons: Only two English breakfast tea bags in room. Noisy fan in bathroom.
Pros: Everything about the hotel was ideal. Staff couldn't be more helpful.
Cons: It was too warm in the room. The radiators weren't even on.
Pros: The breakfast was lovely. I've known the "Talbot" as an ancient building for most of my life and I love it. Reception, restaurant and bar areas are very inviting and the open fire in the lounge bar is the icing on the cake. My room was warm and comfortable and, with breakfast, was very good value for money.
Cons: The standard of welcome unfortunately isn't consistently maintained throughout the building. The stair and landing carpets need replacing and there are some grubby corners!!!! As soon as you've left the main entrance you feel as though the behind the scenes areas are a bit neglected. The shower water struggled to reach lukewarm (I did mention this to the receptionist who said he would try to rectify the problem). Bathroom needed a good clean to get rid of mould on the edge of the bath and dirty spots on the tiles.

Pros: Superb stay. Excellent room, except the toilet flush which I reported.
Cons: The toilet did not flush easily
Cons: Restaurant dark and food not great.
Pros: Love where the property is situated
Cons: My only small issue was the breakfast needed to be hotter.
Pros: I have stayed at the hotel on two previous occasions and love the size of the rooms. Parking is very safe as can park in the courtyard. Very pet friendly. Love the fact that breakfast is self-service and plentiful. The on site pub is very good and serves a range of food which is served hot and to a very high standard. Staff are always very polite and helpful
Cons: Nothing can be improved. Especially as on this occasion I was not charged for my dogs, which is always a great benefit as I am only ever there when attending dog shows at the East of England Showground
Pros: The facilities- running machines/ pool were good. Also offer late check out which was excellent.
Cons: Had booked an Executive room but was given a standard. Room carpet had loads of stains. But was told they were booked up as it was New Years eve, so wasn't offered an alternative room.
Pros: I can 100% recommend ! Will definitely return. Thank you so much for your care and attention.

Cons: Couldn't figure out the settings for heat and air con.
Pros: Staff were quick and efficient and sorted the room problem out
Cons: Ordered twin room got a double
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staffs.enjoyed the spa facilities
Pros: The room was spacious and comfy for us however and breakfast was very nice.
Cons: There was a lack of towels during our stay- only 2 in the room for a family of 4 and no bath matt so I used the robe, and only 2 left at the swimming pool which I understand was due to a busy xmas period.

Pros: Everything was much better than expected, food and accommodation were excellent (huge portions)
Cons: Just for me, personally, the mattress was very hard so had little sleep but this does not take away from the accommodation, they cannot cater for individual ailments.
Pros: Food was excellent, staff friendly and welcoming. Already thinking about our next visit
Cons: Bedroom was a bit cold, but toasty under the duvet
Pros: Great service and staff.
Cons: Bathroom little bit cold

Cons: Sign outside makes a lot of noice when it moves in the wind
Pros: Easy parking, bar and restaurant spacious and the evening barmaid was happy and made us welcome Bedroom was spacious including the bathroom Breakfast was hot and the lady serving was extremely friendly
Cons: The entrance leading to the stairs was dark and not sure what doors lead to where. The bedroom curtains didn’t fit the bathroom The bathroom wasn’t very clean including floors The noise from above during early hours of the morning woke us - people walking across floorboards etc. The rooms were not warm enough

Cons: The fact I’ve emailed you 3 times with a complaint and had no reply
Pros: Large comfy room. Large shower. Very clean.
Cons: Large comfy bed. With narrow quilt. But was fine when turned around. Short sheet.
Pros: People in the corridor shouting all night running up and down went down to reception to tell someone no one was around . Also when coming in from a party went to the bar to get a drink no one was around so we gave up and went to bed with the worst nights sleep possible
Situated in the historic market town of Gratham, the Angel & Royal offers 31 bedrooms, ample parking, bar and restaurant.
Ideally located for ease of access to the main east coast railway and A1, the hotel is easy to get to.
Pros: Not a lot! Having stay there many years ago it would appear that the owners have ruined what was a wonderful albeit traditional hotel. Most of the best features have been trashed and it is now a downbeat 3star hotel at best!
Cons: See above
Pros: THE COFFEE AND BEER IN THE LOUNGE AREA WAS VERY GOOD, FAR ABOVE THE NORM !
Cons: THE COFFEE AT BREAKFAST TIME COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.
Pros: The ambiance was fantastic. The room was luxurious and quiet. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Pros: Location, relaxed atmosphere
Pros: Lovely staff. Great bar, delicious breakfast
Cons: The walk to the top floor might be a bit much for some people. Having stayed here before, I don't recall the the £3.00 car park fee before, but is is very close, in fact just across the courtyard at the rear of the hotel.
Pros: Right in the town centre where the bars and restaurants are.
Cons: Evening food in the restaurant was abysmal, prawn cocktails was just slops on a plate, they don't know the difference between pate and parfait, never even got a response when I complained, lasagne was dry and tired. breakfast was acceptable.
Pros: We gave stayed here a few times before and plan to again. Good hotel in good area, lovely breakfast.
Cons: The room we stayed in had really bad plumbing which caused the room to smell awful. We would of highlighted to the front desk however we was in a major rush on checkout and was hoping this was a one off experience.
With a stay at Charlotte House Hotel in Peterborough, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of East of England Showground and Thorpe Wood Golf Course. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very friendly welcome and spotlessly clean throughout
Pros: The hotel was lovely, clean and the lady that owned it took care if everything.
Pros: My room was clean and a reasonalble size for one - it needs some small refurbishments (ie hole in bathroom door, sorting out of bottom of shower cubicle) but basically it was in good order. A very good shower. Manager was very helpful - I brought a ready meal (as a lady on her own, didn’t fancy going out to eat!) and allowed me use of her kitchen/microwave. Also there was no hairdryer in the room but the manager immediately went and got one for me. The breakfast was excellent - cereals, toast, full cooked breakfast - so very good value for money.
Cons: Only small things as detailed above. The pillow were rather hard but that’s probably a personal preference.
Pros: Very quite, easy to get to the city
Cons: The sign post is not big and bright enough so one can easily missed it.
Pros: Comfortable warm room. I was late for breakfast, but still offered coffee and toast.
Pros: Lovely breakfast. Comfy bed.
Cons: Someone snoring and being sick in the next room.
Pros: Great value for money. Very clean with beautifully pressed sheets. Bathroom simple but good shower pressure Little extras such as an iron and hairdresser. Traditional but good breakfast - friendly owner/manager. Near to town and bus stop outside.

Cons: Our room was very cold and we had to use 2 electric heaters that were in the wardrobe. Which means this is an ongoing problem

Cons: Dated appearance (really needs a spruce-up), no room fridge, joined beds uncomfortable compared to one, window doesn't open, sink waste plug was blocked, no recognition as a long standing Marriott customer. Conclusion: The Peterborough hotel is not up to general (world) Marriott standards.

Cons: Bed was a little tired and needed a new mattress, but that’s being a little picky!
Pros: The bar and restaurant serve delicious dinner and breakfast. Good value for money overall.
Cons: A bit of struggle to find the place as satnav navigation using either booking.com direction or postcode send me to the village on the wrong side of A1. This place is actually on the northbound A1 approximately 4 miles away from the Peterborough Service junction. WiFi not functioning at all in the room. Also running of hot water at the end of a bath.
Pros: Excellent character, location and facilities. Food was to a very good standard and value for money.
Cons: We would have expected the lady serving at the bar and the meals to be more friendly and receptive to requests. Her service was the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel.
Pros: Beautiful decoration in bedroom, very comfortable bed. Warm and welcoming on a very frosty night. Good breakfast, friendly staff and generally a very warm, friendly feel to the inn.
