Simple, but sufficient; centralized to everything needed. Totally walkable to the City.
The location was excellent - in walking distance of the majority of the places we wanted to visit; also restaurants, shops and convenience stores were on the doorstep. The space and size of the apartment was great for a four night stay and the addition of a kitchen area was welcomed.
Whilst cosy and relatively well decorated, the apartment did feel a little tired and indeed of fresh paint and some new furniture. A gentle refurbish wouldn't go amiss.
The location was perfect on a quiet street. Good transport access and can walk to most places. Big room, very comfy bed. The reception team were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble even printed my boarding pass when I couldn't get there printer to work
One of the smoke alarms kept going off until they disconnected it. The lift was not working and the safe had a low battery. The shower cubicle hadn't been cleaned properly. The place us in need of a refurb.
Staff were friendly and informative. The location was very good for Fenway and other Boston sites.
The one elevator was not working which is a bit of a problem for an almost $400 night stay.
The staff were available to carry our bags.
The elevator didn't work for the duration of our stay and we were on the 3rd floor. There was no phone in the room to reach the front desk. The member of staff on duty was always eager to carry our bags for us but we felt bad as it was usually a lady and she was all alone and this made us feel bad and affected our enjoyment of our stay this time around. We felt there should have been some pre-warning about the elevators so we could decide whether to cancel our reservation and stay somewhere else.
