A Lovely Hotel
Excellent service from a young staff happy to be helpful. Wonderful meals.
The place is beautiful and clean. Staff was fantastic! I will stay again sometime.
The traffic the day I arrived was terrible. They need a round a bout in town!
Well kept older hotel with small rooms
Nice decor in public areas. It's an integral part of Berea college. If the school interests you (it has a fascinating history) you will love your stay. Otherwise it's a pretty good older facility with an above average staff. Two of our party of three thought that the food was excellent. All agreed that the service was above average.
TV aspect ratio has squashed image. Neither the genetic remotes nor the controls on the TV itself can access the menu to fix that. Staff confirmed the problem and offered to give us a different room. We declined since we care little for television. This might be a bigger issue for people who do care. One of us (me) found the food to be over salted. Like overly sweet tea, this may be a regional preference. I'll request "lightly salted" next time.
Lovely room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful hotel with big porch that is perfect to sit and chat on. The flowers are just gorgeous and are everywhere. Loved it!
The rocking chairs on the porch aren't very comfortable but that didn't stop us from spending time on the porch.
Boone Hall has much character and charm. It's commitment to being a green facility is very admirable as well. The room and facilities were clean, quiet and comfortable.
Boone Hall was just a little pricy for the location and time of year but the provides an enjoyable stay. The hotel/restaurant also provides employment to deserving Berea College students.
Offering a 24-hour business centre, free Wi-Fi and meeting rooms, Historic Boone Tavern is just a five-minute walk from Berea College. The various facilities this award-winning hotel has to offer include a lift, a garden and a gift shop.
The hotel has 63 rooms and has been recently refurbished. Pets are also welcome.
Those preferring to eat at the hotel can dine at the on-site restaurant, open for breakfast.
Historic Boone Tavern is a stone's throw from Lincoln Hall. Richmond and Mount Vernon are also an easy drive away.
