Cons: I could not rent the car because they did not accept my type of debit card! It would have been nice to know that before wasting my time setting the appointment and then going to them for the attendant to rudely tell me he can’t accept my chime debit card.
Cons: Did not feel like a professionally run business. All employees were young got distracted very easily.
Pros: Not much was average car company with average car.
Cons: Car was smoked in, took a while to pick up and drop off due to only one staff member.
Pros: That I got my vehicle so I could leave the place
Cons: The person at the counter was so rude! No good customer service was given at anytime we were there. He even was on his phone taking a personal call while trying to get our vehicle! Not going to that Avis facility ever again
Pros: Car was reliable & clean. Pickup at TTN was unpleasant and difficult. Drop off at PHL return was pleasant, fast, and easy.
Cons: Pickup at TTN was unpleasant and rental office was difficult to find. Avis rep was polite but not very helpful. First car, a red Toyota Corolla, I was offered reeked of cigarette smoke, and had large stains on the two front seats. I refused to take it and asked for another in same class - intermediate. He claimed they didn'the have any more cars in that class. The rep didn'the offer an upgrade at the same price. Instead I had to go outside and find a car myself. Why? I ended up asking about a Hyundai Velostar which was clean but a bit worn. It was in the compact class and should have been a downgrade in price. The rep said "we don't do downgrades". I asked what else do you have that's clean and ready to rent? He said all the other cars were spoken for. So I ended up paying intermediate price for a compact car. The rep mentioned that inventory was low as the 2015 cars were being retired and the new 2016 cars hadn't been received yet. There were plenty of suvs in the lot. I will not rent from Avis at that location again.
