When I got my car in KC and started it up I got a low tire pressure warning on the passenger’s side rear tire (6 psi). They exchanged the car for me without a problem but the next car had a former driver’s rental contract still in the car. Seems to me the cars are not being inspected/cleaned very well before sending them out again?Reviewed Sep 8 2023

Pick up and return were pretty simple. The car was missing at the spot they gave me, but they were able to assign me a different car right away, but then the QR code didn't update for my new car, even though I clicked on the link from the new text. They also gave me an SUV when I would have preferred the economy car I requested.Reviewed Aug 9 2023

There was an issue with our reservation that was handled in an awkward manner; just could have been handled/explained better. Car was in terrible condition (cracked windshield, smoky smell inside, scratches on exterior, interior was dusty and dirty), no walkthrough with the agent to determine pre-existing damage—he just handed me the keys to a beat-up car. Agent overstated gas available at pickup (full when it was only 3/4 full), and vastly underestimated mileage at pickup (by 800 miles!). Upon return, the agent eyed me suspiciously when I said the A is agent had t competed a walkthrough and the damage was pre-existing. I showed him pics I took in the lot before driving away to prove that the damage was already there, but now I’m worried Avis will send me a fraudulent bill.Reviewed May 30 2023
