10,0 Excellent
Pros: We have an excellent home close to city Arcos de la Frontera. Staff was very helpful and communicative. The accommodation was very spacious and very clean. It is hard to believe that there is such a quiet residential space so close to the Arcos de la Frontera. Place is very safe for kids. We can highly recommend this home/place.

Pros: The view and the pool
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved staying here. Nuria and Laura are very kind and helpful hosts who will make you feel welcome and give you lots of information about the surroundings etc. The house was spotless clean, spacious, bright, well equipped but not too much stuff either which we value as minimalist. The beds are comfortable, there are extra blankets. The bathroom was big, clean and very bright. All lights have dimming function which is great. The surroundings are just amazing. Olive trees wherever you look and lots and lots of hiking and walking around the area. You have a balcony and terrace and it's a pleasure to sit out there in the sun and just hear the birds and once in a while see a golf player in the distance. You have a parking spot right infront of your house. There is a hotel at the complex where you can eat at the restaurant. We once had coffee there for breakfast and it's lovely to sit in their jard. We really loved everything about this place and already look into coming back with friends at some point this or next year.
Cons: That we only booked this place for the last couple of days of our holidays and couldn't stay longer :(
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A perfect get away from it all. Although a golf resort and not a golfer it was exactly what we wanted to get away
Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: What a super place to stay! Jim & Isa were amazing hosts! Friendly and answering all of our 101 questions about the beautiful town of Arcos. Everything was just perfect, in a super location, with all you need provided and spotlessly clean! The cherry on the cake.. The terrace breakfast... Perched high with beautiful views... Truly blessed to have had the opportunity to visit this special town, with fabulous friendly people and to stay at this great location! And driving the narrow streets added to the adventure...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Jim and Isa (hosts) were fabulous. Very interesting people, would love to hear more of their story. Most comfortable night's sleep this trip. Bed very comfortable, pillows firm, room very quiet. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the roof of the building with a gorgeous view of the rising sun and the city. Doesn't get much better than this. Jim has written a great brochure for touring the old City which was great fun for exploring. We loved our visit while short, but will make up for it with another visit and Casa Campana will definitely be our lodging of choice. Small car recommended.
Cons: Can't say there was anything we didn't like. Loved everything from check in, to breakfas,t to room, to exciting drive to parking lot.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: next i wil go to this place and sty there alone to write book !
10,0 Excellent
Pros: - location in the center of town - atmosphere and spirit of the place - very polite and obliging owners (enthusiasts - Best Regards!) - breakfast served on the roof with a breathtaking view
Cons: - everything was great (I recommend it with a clear conscience)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and very helpful hosts. We took the walk of the old town suggested by the hosts and it was perfect. The breakfast on the roof garden was especially nice. They had great recommendations for restaurants too.
Cons: Parking is a bit of a challenge as is driving around that area of town as it is in the old walled city at the top of a hill. We ended up parking at the underground parking at the main plaza a half mile away. We walked up the hill with our luggage although there is a city shuttle bus that runs every half hour. I’m not sure what to suggest to the hosts except to explain a the options a bit more to those who need to find parking nearby.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Rooftop was great, especially with the Good breakfast!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. The hosts very helpful and gracious. The bedroom and bath were immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and the towels large and new.
Cons: The shower floor was as slick as an oiled surface. This can easily be solved by providing a non-slip shower rubber floor mat. The shower stall needs a holder for bath soap and bathroom sink needs a hook nearby for the hand-towel.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hospitality & facilities with personal touch
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location in the heart of the old town. The roof top terrace was a great place to relax and enjoy the amazing view. Hosts were very friendly and always helpful. Breakfast delicious and plentiful and was served on the terrace with that view. Very comfy beds and excellent shower.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Casa Campana has real class. It has a very calm and gracious character. A beautifully renovated old house right in the centre of Arcos old town. All the amenities. Great breakfast. The hosts are delightful, and will go the extra mile to help, and to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cozy and charming. The view was unbelievable! The hotel is very centrally located and you can walk up and down the quaint streets. Beautiful town! Even my teenagers who usually enjoy a more lively night scene were enchanted.
Cons: nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in Arcos, with the best view in the old town. Staff was very friendly and helpful with all our requests. Rooms were very clean and overall great value.
Cons: Internet service only available at the lobby, but wireless signal not available in some rooms.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was delightful and very helpful, with a good sense of humor. The property was located in the heart of the old town.
Cons: The property's location made it difficult to find, and parking was problematic, although there was underground parking available about a half mile away.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. The room was very comfortable. The place is really nice to stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is so friendly, the location is perfect, and the view is spectacular!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place. We stayed one night of a road trip, & booked a room with terrace - absolutely spectacular views and access to the towns lovely narrow streets for eating - beautiful!
Cons: Very little not to like - maybe the breakfast is a little on the expensive side, but loads of alternatives at the doorstep.
7,9 Good
Pros: The position of the hotel and the view from the room was very good. Breakfast was good value and the staff were great.
Cons: Although very clean, the bathroom was a little tired and could do with an upgrade, That said, it wouldn't stop me staying there again.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: El Convento is right on the edge of the cliff to which the historic center of Arcos clings. Our room had a small but lovely balcony with an astounding panoramic view (it would actually be unsuitable for anyone with a fear of heights). Other rooms below ours had larger tiled terraces. The room was large but the bathroom was one of the biggest I've ever seen. It could be a hotel room all on its own. Beds were comfortable and breakfast, served on a beautiful sun terrace, was good. There's no parking anywhere very close but for 5 Euros you can get a ticket at reception that allows you to park in the spaces outside the Parador until 12 midday the next day.
Cons: Wifi didn't really work at all, even in the lobby. Be warned that driving in Arcos is something of a challenge. Even with a Fiat 500 there wasn't a lot of clearance through some of the streets and you won't find the hotel by driviong around looking for it. We parked a lot lower down and walked up to find it, then moved the car as close as possible afterwards.
La Casa Grande - Arcos de la Frontera - Bedroom

With a stay at La Casa Grande in Arcos de la Frontera (Sierra de Cádiz), you'll be steps from Church of San Pedro and Convento de las Mercedarias. Featured amenities include a computer station, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This is my favorite type of hotel - full of character, quirky, close to the best of the town has to offer, yet comfortable, clean and quiet. We had two rooms on the top floor, and had the terrace all to ourselves. The view is great.
Cons: There was nothing I did NOT like, but there are a few things people need to be aware of. There is really no way to drive up to the hotel. Driving in Arcos is an adventure, and, unless you are driving a Smart or something of similar size, you are better off walking, or taking a taxi. No elevator, so, if your age or health is less than optimal, you might need some help hauling your luggage up the staircase. There is a bit of a walk to a grocery store, and the walk is up and down... None of that was a a problem for me, and I'm no spring chicken, but I think some travelers might benefit from knowing. I loved this place, and would come back any time.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic views from our balcony, lovely white hill town. Fantastic local restaurants and bars
7,9 Good
Pros: Staying and visiting Arcos de la Frontera was a great experience and staying at La Casa de Grande helps us to fully experience this town. The building has a big central courtyard and all the rooms are accesible from this courtyard. We stayed at a room with terrace, there was a bank and also chaise lounges, we had great time while lying down and looking at the scenery. And also staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very delicious. I can recommend everyone to stay La Casa Grande but don't forget to leave your car at the new city center and came this old town with shuttle/taxi because the streets are very narrow and it is very hard to drive/park if you had a big car.
Cons: Because of the building is very historical, the bathroom was very small and is not departed from the room area. It can be better if it can be fully seperated from room area.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very attentive staff, unique accommodation very well located with gorgeous views.
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very unique stay in a 1729 building with great location in Arcos near lookoff points and delicious restaurants. Terrace overlooking valley below offers beautiful views and flybys by groups of happy birds.
Cons: I'm sure it's a function of age of building and difficulty to set it up but it would be convenient to have wifi in room (wifi only in reception area). Not a big deal for 2 nights but it is of course nice to have for posting pics, checking email in bed.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the views to the countryside. It is a very nice quiet moorish house.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views from the terrace and a lovely room.
Cons: Getting into the old town was a little tricky with the car, although the venue had forewarned us that the streets were narrow - which they were! However, once negotiated, well worth it.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fine, nothing overly special The staff, including the owner, are very friendly and helpful The setting is spectacular
Cons: There really isn't a lot to do in Arcos; it's a good place if you need a break and just want to unwind for a day Warning--make sure you will have parking available before coming here if you are driving. The hotel told me I would be fine if I parked at the entrance to the city but unfortunately a festival was happening and there was no parking anywhere. The owner of the hotel let me park behind her but to get to the hotel I had to drive through this giant arch for about 300 feet with barely an inch of room on either side of the car (I am not exaggerating). I have never had such white-knuckle driving in my life. I had to make this drive twice!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice house in the old part of town built in 1726. The staff is great, helpful.great breakfast but a little expensive.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was absolutely charming: the staff were friendly, our room (on the roof) was quirky and very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the views from the roof terrace were stunning. It was worth visiting Arcos just to stay in La Casa Grande!
Cons: Parking can be a problem - even the closest parking area (no guarantee of a space) is a few minutes walk along a cobbled street - and the hotel has steep steps and no lift. Pack lightly or leave heavy luggage in your car.

Pros: The place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful a lovely aesthetic. The breakfast was very good and the owners are absolutely lovely and make you feel at home! Beautiful views and right in the centre of the old town. We will definitely stay again!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We loved staying at La Casa de Bovedas. It really is incredibly charming and beautiful! The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. They made fantastic recommendations for restaurants and stores to buy the most beautiful ceramics. The breakfast was very good; simple and light but very tasty and there was more than enough. The terrace where we ate breakfast was gorgeous - surrounded by flowers and with a fantastic view of the countryside. the location was great; right in the middle of the old part of town.
Cons: The only problem was the air conditioning which did not work well. Luckily it was cool at night so we opened the windows and were comfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: What a charming lovely place - owners have restored and equipped the house and rooms carefully with a sensitive taste
10,0 Excellent
Pros: La Casa de Bovedas is a lovely place. Right in the old centre of the beautiful village, it's beautifully styled everywhere. Our host was very kind. We could put our bycicles on the inside terrace. He also gave us great advice on where to have dinner. Our room was really nice and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice with fresh orange juice, good coffee, bread, fresh fruit and tasteful marmelades. We definitely recommend this b&b.
Cons: Our room on the street was a little bit noisy in the early morning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Arcos de la Frontera. As the name indicates, La Casa de Bovidas was absolutely charming with spectacular courtyards, common areas, and views. Our hosts could not have been any nicer or more helpful, and their restaurant recommendations were excellent. (In fact, some of the best food we ate in Spain was on the friendly, narrow roads of Arcos.) The afternoon breezes kept the room cool, and when it was necessary for A/C, that was comfortable, too. Taxis are available to transport you up the hill from the parking garage, although it is also walkable if you don't mind the incline! From Arcos we could easily day-trip to Ronda and Seville. We just can't say enough nice things. Hope to return again some day!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location was stunning and hosts were very helpful and friendly, Really you cannot find better if you are to visit this town.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A very charming place, tastefully decorated in a boho- artsy style. Friendly hosts. Centrally located in the old town. Not suitable for handicapped- If you go by car, park in the town parking and host will send a cab. Too narrow and tortous to risk a car. Otherwise, loved the house and the town.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed 4 nights at la casa de Bovedas. We felt very welcome. The owner is very kind and a great support in finding activities and restaurants in the little town and area. We enjoyed all his recommendations. The place itself is even nicer than you see on pictures. There are so many details hidden you won’t find within a day. Especially the breakfast outside in the garden is something special to remember. It’s definitely worth to stay more than a night. You cannot park at the place, but the owner supports you in either parking at main square (don’t bring a big car) or in the towns parking garage. We would visit again. Thanks for having us!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place is amazing! The two owners are really nice and have a very interesting story! They build this place with a lot of love and many little details. We booked two nights and decided to extend the stay for one more night. It was a beautiful stay in the middle of the old city. The owners were very helpful and gave us many good tips. We definitely want to come back!
Cons: There was nothing bad. It was perfect!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Its a wonderful charming place, in the centre. So much charm and taste and tranquility. My kids enjoyed the small swimming pool. Breakfast was all healthy and nice with fruits and toasts and fresh orange juice., but mostly whats remarkable its the prices. The owners dont want to squeeze you, just to make you feel comfortable: drinks and snacks in the house (that you take by yourself) are nearly the price of the shop!

Cons: No problems
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the few hotels close to the old town centre with secure parking. I was charged half the car fee for parking my motorcycle which was appreciated (and unusual). The hotel was a very pleasant place to spend time, with very nice and helpful staff. I will return for sure.
Cons: It was at the upper end of my budget when travelling alone, but still good value.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Delightful & helpful staff. Aircon in my car failed pre-arrival. Uff! Gentleman on the desk found me a cold beer within a couple of minutes of arriving! I got the last available room - a single which is not my usual choice but it was spacious enough & opened out onto a small balcony with views over the valley. Location 100m outside the centro antiguo, an easy walk. Easily located hotel, easy car access, private secure parking (that note is especially for bikers!) but there is also street parking within 100m. Delightful little breakfast room & a decent breakfast. I'd stay here again.
Cons: Nothing.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, beautifully located with delightful internal courtyard. Desk Manager was very helpful getting us directions to drive our car to the hotel, and then supplied parking gratis. Very comphy bedrooms. The hotel provided a good and varied breakfast
Cons: The bedrooms were slightly dated. There was no safe in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very clean and comfortable rooms (very good shower) in a traditional Andalucian building. We were treated to an amazing view from our room. Staff were super friendly. The secure parking was a bonus as was the amazing breakfast! Would definitely stay here again.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was nice. The room was comfortable, but a complimentary bottle of water and a coffee maker would be a lovely touch. The view was beautiful.
Cons: The restaurant was really bad. We ended up not eating (or barely eating) what we ordered and going to another restaurant to eat. The service was good, but the food was not good. We were offered a complimentary coffee to make up for a 50 euro meal that is best forgotten.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing. Our room had a balcony over looking the valley below. Fantastic location to watch the sunset and wonderful spot to have breakfast in the morning. This is the best location in town.
Cons: The drive to the top was a bit harrowing but that's the only way up if you have your own car. Just be prepared to pull the mirrors in. A glass of wine at the top makes it all better!
7,4 Good
Cons: Parking was problematic. The lot used by the hotel is a public lot. On one of the two evenings we were staying at the hotel the lot was full. The nearest alternate parking location is about 3/4 miles away down the hill.

Pros: Where to begin. It is perfect in so many ways. Interior decor, views, location, beautiful rooms, most helpful staff. Arcos is a lovely place to be. Pros: Absolutely stunning views from our room and terrace. Staff were helpful and food was OK.

Cons: The noise! The bar didn’t close until 2.30am this morning and until then, sleep was impossible. It might be better midweek. Also, try to avoid driving up as the streets are SO narrow. If you must, set the navigator for Plaza del Cabildo where there is paid parking, rather than the Pension.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice roof terrace, clean, wonderful food available in restaurant.
Cons: Room was a bit small. Streets are extremely narrow so outdoor dining was interesting.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible location, right in the villages centre, I was pleasantly surprised of the authenticity of this place - very true andalusian vibe, with terasse upstairs, where you see the crossing of two main narrow streets. I am so glad I experiended this slow and laid back life of a small andalusian village
Cons: Nothing! Just watch your head when going through the terrasse doors upstairs :D its really low!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is absolutely slap bang in the middle of the old town. You really get the proper feel of a "Blanco Pueblo". The breakfast is simple but adequate.
Cons: Access with luggage is difficult but through no fault of the property.

Pros: discounted price adequate to the room, quite.
Cons: renovated room shown on the website/app was not available. Smell of smoke in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We've been travelling in Spain for over 2 months, staying in hostels, hotels and motels in this sort of price range, Hostal Malaga has been THE BEST. The room was big, bright and recently refurbished, plenty room for an additional bed, sofa and table. The bathroom was big with lots of hot water, and unusually, lots of space to put toiletries, and solid shelves in the shower itself. The Wifi was consistently good. We had use of a fridge. There are several open areas to sit, and had the weather been better we might have sat on the roof terrace. We easily parked on the service road by the shops, and surrounding streets also had free parking. (Driving in the old town would not be recommended, even if you knew where you were going, very narrow and cobbled). The location is good, we like walking, so the short walk into the old town was good. There are several bars and cafes close, and an excellent Chinese Bazaar shop which stocks everything! A short walk away there are supermarkets, and several fruit and veg shops on the walk into town. A great base from which to explore the 'pueblos blancos', and the Sierra de Grazalema. And some beautiful undulating countryside to ride through, and the Embalsas to visit. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.
Cons: Struggling to find anything we didn't like!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: When the ac unit broke we had it replaced within 2 days, for the 2 days we received a fan. The owner is really nice, we managed to communicate even though i dont speak spanish. The rooms are exactly as in the pictures.
Cons: Not that i didnt like, for me it was missing: Kettle in the room.
10,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean room. Bathroom. Roof terrace with great view.
7,9 Good
Pros: Quaint house with a roof top able to watch fire works and the town. Some tiled walls make this house beautiful.
Cons: The manager needs to update with means of using a computer for registration, able to collect rentals in means other than cash and be aware of broken down air conditioner that affect the comfort of the traveler.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We were not expecting much but we were surprised in a good way. The 3 bedroom and the private bathroom was renovated with style and comfort. The room was cleaned. Nice patio and if you go up the stairs a nice view, especially at sunset.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious, nicely renovated and clean. The location is not near the old town but the room at EUR 45 for 3 persons was very good value.

Pros: The landscape is amazing, the view of the countryside is a dream, good for relaxation, living the city stress behind.
Cons: Of anything, the furniture is old and a bit tatty, but the house we rested was practically equipped, with air con and everything we needed. May be the 200 metres walk for the house to the main building might bother some, not us, if was part of the experience , a nice walk.

Pros: The host was so friendly and showed us around the lovely hotel and grounds. Being a Hotel Rural it is set out away from the hustle of cities in the midst of olive groves, which is why we chose it. Charming and easy going. We were lucky to arrive just in time to have a good dinner on the premises. No menu just what is the serving of the day. A white fish which was delicious.

Pros: Super hotel, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable.
Cons: Arcos was built before the advent of the motorcar. The streets are very narrow and unless you feel very confident with your driving, suggest you DO NOT bring your car into the town.
