Pros: Great location. Nicely furnished. On site and very responsive staff who were very friendly and efficient. Quite location with nice patio space for sitting and dining.
Cons: Annoying noise in the plumbing that took some time for staff to understand. It ended up being an issue that would require more repair than could be done with occupants in the house. They offered to move us to another unit but It was near the end of our stay so we elected not to move. They were very apologetic.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing townhouse and location, nice quiet area, pool, nice walks around
Cons: Nothing

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our overall experience there was very good. The property was well-maintained and very clean It was also in a great location to see that area of Spain. It was a very relaxing stay and I would highly recommend it.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Property was bigger than expected and everything required was provided for. Very nice views overlooking the golf course. Nice restaurant in the Cortijo, a 5 minute walk from the property. Food was very nice.
Cons: The resort itself was extremely quiet and we only came across a handful of people on each day of the holiday. What used to be the main clubhouse is now disused and rapidly becoming derelict. Whilst the communal pool area is relatively nice there is nowhere to buy a drink or get refreshments there so if your property is way up the road you need to go prepared with drinks etc. The on site hotel (Cortijo) is now the clubhouse. This is where the restaurant is - very nice indeed, if a little pricey in comparison with the town - but again, very few people using it at all. This was mid June so would have expected a busier resort.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The townhouse is new, large and bright with three outdoor terraces, two bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, great WiFi, cooking facilities, fully equipped and with a washer and dryer. The woman who checked us in was friendly and very helpful, explaining everything. It’s right on a golf course with beautiful landscaping and there is a bar and restaurant on the premises.
Cons: It is located about 3 miles from town so you need a car but parking is free. The bed was a tad uncomfortable and the master bath toilet leaked. But these were minor in light of all that was good.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcome, great town house with fully equipped kitchen, even were provided with coffee and essentials on arrival. Excellent view, nice location as only a 10mins drive away from beautiful Arcos. Highly reommended, will definitively return.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: This was a true gem of a find! We booked the terrace room the night before our stay when we made an impromptu decision to spend a few days touring the white villages. This hotel was absolutely gorgeous, built in the 1600s and so very very charming. I kept saying it looked like it was from an Anthropologie home catalogue shoot - but more authentic. So romantic and charming, my boyfriend ended up proposing on the balcony here. We booked a room with a terrace, and the view was spectacular. The terrace was also two levels, with a large downstairs patio and lounge chairs. The room was somewhat small (although pretty average or even roomy by European standards) but the view, balcony, and absolutely stunning details of the room made up for it. The bed was queen size and comfortable, the bathroom was small but all updated and the water pressure and shower heads were amazing.Very quiet except for the sounds of birds (including a rooster, which was quite noisy but not bothersome to us) and sheep/goats. Follow the hotel's directions to park in the designated parking garage and catch a taxi - you just drive to the upper level of the garage and there is an attendant who will call a taxi. Taxi arrived within a minute or two and it cost maybe 6 euro to get to the hotel. Don't bother trying to use GPS to get up to the main square through all the tiny roads. Do be prepared to carry a bag over cobblestone walking streets for about 100 meters or so, and for the off-chance that the road down was closed on your way out (as it was for us).
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The view, the view! Discounted overnight parking.
Cons: Nothing.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Terrific views (from both our room and the terrace), nice decor within the hotel, friendly hosts.
Cons: The only challenge was finding the place, which is not well labeled on the outside.I also wish the bathroom had felt a little more private (the door to the toilet was pretty flimsy).
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The peaceful atmosphere, the gorgeous views, the delicious fragance, the elegance of simplicity, the artistic touches, the kind staff, the delicious breakfast, the discreet location. I really enjoyed it!
Cons: Leaving!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, the best place we have stayed in Spain this trip. Estefania is very welcoming, the staff are wonderful and it is a beautiful traditional old house. A lovely feel to the place with the best views in Arcos de la Frontera from the rooftop balcony. From breakfast served in the fabulous courtyard to the cosy library where you can relax with a book and admire the fantastic art work. Will definitely stay there again.
7,9 Good
Pros: It is very pretty: Romantic and it has the most fantastic views. Great rooftop terrace. Lovely interior and art. Beautiful and cosy room. Good advice from hostess on car parking and restaurants. Overall friendly staff. Great location.
Cons: The bed, blankets and pillows could use an update. Breakfast was not too great. Room was infused with a much too strong vanilla scent from air refreshner.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location, wonderful hosts. The place to stay in Arcos de la Frontera.
Cons: Nothing.
6,7 Good
Pros: The owner was very helpful especially with suggested driving routes in the district & dining suggestions. If you like rustic & character filled this is a perfect fit.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable. The room had a musty smell. There was no wi-fi in the room. Bathroom curtain was very dirty & even though the place was probably clean, it made it feel less than pristine. It was also one of the more expensive places we stayed in but certainly didn’t feel like it. Arcos was generally disappointing compared to the other local white towns & especially Ronda.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The House had a character of its own and was interesting unlike a chain hotel. The view from the terrace outside our room was excellent and there was lots of plants within the house
Cons: The breakfast, on the second morning we asked for scrambled eggs as it was cold and were charged another 8 euros over the 12 we were already paying without being told. We found out when we got the bill. The house was cold as was the weather but despite both the host and us commenting on the cold no heating was put on in our room apart from a small fan heater.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: host was lovely room had a great feel
Cons: room had neither sunset or sunrise view hot water took forever to get causing us to waste a lot of water
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, wonderful location with special rooms and lots of eye for detail. Loved it. Excellent views on the lake and valley from the terrace and some of the rooms. Make sure to check which room you book if you want a view, there are also indoor rooms.

Pros: Absolutely stunning views from our room and terrace. Staff were helpful and food was OK.

Good quality of everything: large room with authentic tapestry, well equipped bathroom. Cozy place, quite neighborhood. Friendly staff. huge garden where you can have a glass of wine in the evening. Sufficient space for parking.
Cons: The entrance to the yard could have better indications signs and might have been more arranged. The reception is very tiny and full of a lot of staff.

Pros: A great location in a beautiful town. The friendly hostess welcomed us with a cold drink & ensured we were comfortable & satisfied.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: - Nice location within the oldtown in a historic building - Nice terrace
Cons: - Not really soundproofed, lots of noises from the street, machineries, church bell, etc - Hard pillow
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, right in the centre of the historical part of the town. The roof top terrace is fantastic, some fabulous views! We went at Easter be warned about all the festivities which go on right through the night. Otherwise this would have been a very peaceful place to sleep! The owners are lovely, telling us where to eat in the town. No parking but the owners gave us a letter to show when we picked up the car to get a discount. For 2 days we paid 20 euros.
Cons: The bed was a little hard.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the middle of the old City. Back off the street with a central courtyard with thick walls that kept the city sounds out. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Washing machine in the unit.
Cons: My room was on the ground floor off the courtyard. I had neighbors, who I think are permanent residents, who could be quite loud until late by my standards, after 11, but this is Spain. They also had control of a light in the courtyard that shone directly in my window over the bed and would leave it on late at times. There was no blackout curtain on the window to deal with it. Bathroom was a little small and shower was awkward and would get parts of the bathroom at. WiFi was in public area only.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The owner was terrific. She was full of helpful information, and really took the time to meet our needs.
Cons: Nothing! All good!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and welcoming people, in the heart of the historical town centre. Nicely arranged bedroom, loved the private terrace. Great places for food, ice creams and breakfast nearby.
Cons: Being an old town, parking the car can be a challenged, luckily we found a free space in the street not too far. We were woken up by the church bells in the morning but it part of the charm of these small villages.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and her son were extremely welcoming and friendly. Very peaceful and quiet especially as we were there during Semana Santa Easter celebrations! Perfect location at the top of the old town.

Pros: Nice small hotel in the heart of town. Loved the location. The staff and restaurant below were great!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff location
Cons: nothing all good.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location was central in the old town and the staff were very helpful. They left some bread, butter, jam and juice (along with a knife) on the door for breakfast as we were leaving very early in the morning. We had options of choosing the room. There was a nice terrace as well.
Cons: The stairs were narrow to climb with suitcase and also the location is a little away from bus route. These matter only if you have some luggage to carry. The room was comfortable but very compact.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: They found a place to store our bicycles.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is absolutely slap bang in the middle of the old town. You really get the proper feel of a "Blanco Pueblo". The breakfast is simple but adequate.
Cons: Access with luggage is difficult but through no fault of the property.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect for exploring Arcos on foot. Location above a bar in the center of old town gave a feel of being part of the neighborhood.
Cons: We parked for free on the street down the hill... way down the hill. It was a longish walk with bags BUTI did not have to guide our small but-not-small-enough car through the ultra narrow old town one way maze..

Cons: Not that i didnt like, for me it was missing: Kettle in the room.
7,1 Good
Pros: discounted price adequate to the room, quite.
Cons: renovated room shown on the website/app was not available. Smell of smoke in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We've been travelling in Spain for over 2 months, staying in hostels, hotels and motels in this sort of price range, Hostal Malaga has been THE BEST. The room was big, bright and recently refurbished, plenty room for an additional bed, sofa and table. The bathroom was big with lots of hot water, and unusually, lots of space to put toiletries, and solid shelves in the shower itself. The Wifi was consistently good. We had use of a fridge. There are several open areas to sit, and had the weather been better we might have sat on the roof terrace. We easily parked on the service road by the shops, and surrounding streets also had free parking. (Driving in the old town would not be recommended, even if you knew where you were going, very narrow and cobbled). The location is good, we like walking, so the short walk into the old town was good. There are several bars and cafes close, and an excellent Chinese Bazaar shop which stocks everything! A short walk away there are supermarkets, and several fruit and veg shops on the walk into town. A great base from which to explore the 'pueblos blancos', and the Sierra de Grazalema. And some beautiful undulating countryside to ride through, and the Embalsas to visit. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.
Cons: Struggling to find anything we didn't like!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The landscape is amazing, the view of the countryside is a dream, good for relaxation, living the city stress behind.
Cons: Of anything, the furniture is old and a bit tatty, but the house we rested was practically equipped, with air con and everything we needed. May be the 200 metres walk for the house to the main building might bother some, not us, if was part of the experience , a nice walk.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Show a picture of the dining room - it's beautiful! Quiet, rural and very peaceful. Food for dinner was excellent
Cons: Breakfast was a bit dull
10,0 Excellent

Pros: The host was so friendly and showed us around the lovely hotel and grounds. Being a Hotel Rural it is set out away from the hustle of cities in the midst of olive groves, which is why we chose it. Charming and easy going. We were lucky to arrive just in time to have a good dinner on the premises. No menu just what is the serving of the day. A white fish which was delicious.

The hotel had a very nice vibe to it with Andalucian art pieces throughout. We enjoyed our time out on the terrace which came with the room.

Pros: Terrific views (from both our room and the terrace), nice decor within the hotel, friendly hosts.
Cons: The only challenge was finding the place, which is not well labeled on the outside.I also wish the bathroom had felt a little more private (the door to the toilet was pretty flimsy).
