A room with a lake view will allow to enjoy the natural beauty of the place to its fullest. Rooms that are facing to the park still offer the view on mature trees. A 20 minutes walk leads you to the old part of Annecy along the lake´s shore. The interior is stylish with references to the Art Deco phase, displaying 3 meter high ceilings. Facilities are impeccable and clean.

Cons: I think the hotel does not deserve its 4-star ranking. Based on my own experience, the room design does not correspond to this hotel category. The bathroom was very basic, with a poor color, the toilet looked like toilets you can find in airports ... the design of the room was not convincing (no hotel spirit)

Cons: The hotel advertised air conditioning; but there was no AC. Apparently AC is seasonal and the hotel changed to heating. So, the hotel does not have true AC. And, it was a warm day in late September. The staff said ‘just open your window or sliding door’. But, that potentially lets bugs into the room. Unfortunately, the hotel overlooked a medium size parking lot and there were other hotels adjacent. People talked below our window until 00:30 hours and then crews arrived about 05:00 hours to clean outside areas. The conclusion: An uncomfortably warm and noisy room.

Cons: It is not very often that I have something specific to complain about. Unfortunately on this occasion, there was no milk at the breakfast buffet. As well as this, the staff showed no interest in rectifying the issue. The location of the hotel in the middle of a town the size of Annecy must have been close to a convenience store or supermarket. All that was required was for a member of staff to take a 10 minute trip to get a couple of 4 litre bottles, problem solved. The waitress had a couldn't care less attitude and the only excuse offered at check out was that they had not had a delivery which is a very poor attitude.

Very limited choice for in room dining options (no hot food can be served) Breakfast is very expensive and once again the service is a complete disaster. Looks more like a school cantine than a four star hotel. Spa is very small and overcrowded. Most people can’t find a chair to lie down and just stand there with their towels waiting for someone to leave. Steam room is broken, not even a sign to notify people. Overall service falls short of what you would expect for a four star hotel.

Cons: Unfortunately it was one of the worst experiences for me, first i had booked this hotel as i needed a spa badly, i was staying just one night in Annecy and needed to relax and booked it as it offered a spa with information and pictures on the website. As soon as i arrive (16h as the check in is considered late in comparison to any hotel in the world) i ask what time does the spa close the receptionist tell me that it is closed for construction!! I was very disappointed as my whole trip to Annecy was to relax as i travelled solo. I tell her that this info was not mentioned at all during the booking process she doesn't believe me and tell me ill check myself then tells me yes its true its not mentioned that its closed i will ask my supervisor tomorrow!!! Im leaving tomorrow already what will this benefit me?!! Anyways going to my room she tells me that the vreakfast is from 6.30 to 10.30am, i had booked breakfast so next morning i go at 10am and they tell me no today it ended at 10 not 10.30 as its a day off!!!! Again and again i was not provided by this info and the guy from the rest. Directs me to the bar and tell me that i can have coffee from the machine and drink juice and a croissant that was laying there on the bar!!! Excuse me i didnt pay breakfast to have this plus its the fault of the receptionist who didnt do her job properly! I go again to the lobby and explain this to the lady there then they decided to offer me the breakfast of the room service! Which again was a solution but not what i paid for. Not to mention that at night there was no hot water that they had to come to my room around 23h! How inconvenient is that? Then they told me its fixed but layer when i showered it was boiling hot water with no cool water at all. Woke up in the morning with the sound of hammer on the ceiling (i booked a queen size executive room, which was not queen at all so i was in the 7th floor). So finally this is all what happened just in one night at the hotel!

Cons: Overall experience was good. At checkout though something odd did occur. The gentlemen attending me said to have given me the correct change, 42 eur. He showed me a 20 eur and 2 10 eur and 2 eur. All was rushed and he only gave me 22 back instead of 42 eur. It took me a few minutes while I was still in the lobby to figure it out. Then I approached and said I think he didn't give me correct change. At first he brushed it off since there were more clients. I waited for them to finish to not be a pest. Then I asked again and asked to check paperwork in case it fell. No luck. Then I asked to check cameras and that I was willing to wait for security. He quickly agreed to give me the 20 eur. Not sure if he was just nice or realized he didn't give it to me. But I felt like I was scammed but all ended well. I don't want to judge his character without proof but all was odd. i wouldn't let this stop anyone from booking. The experience overall was good. Just a precaution.

Cons: The hotel was a long walk from the centre of Annecy.We walked along the river into town but had to leave before it got dark, there was no lighting along the river walk so we would have felt unsafe. The hotel staff were lovely but the hotel needs to be refurbished. It was only just alright for a one night stay. There were no restaurants open near the hotel on Sunday evening, when we were there,the hotel did not serve food either. We did not take breakfast.

Cons: The room was cramped up and we had only one small window. felt little uncomfortable because the AC was very poor and it was not cooling very much. We arrived at the property at 2.00 pm and our room was not ready by that time and we had to stay for 40 more minutes to get the room. Checking time was mention at 12.00 noon.

The hotel is close to a busy road. Traffic noise made sleep difficult. No reduction could be made as I had booked booking.com and not direct. Manager stated I should have been offered another room..I wasn't.
