Pros: This was not our first time in Lisbon, but the choice of this hotel definitely made this visit amazing. The position is absolutely strategical. The structure is modern, perfectly furnished and clean. The room was comfortable and we had the very luck to be upgraded to suite. Breakfast is good and the pastries are freshly baked every morning. The staff welcomed us kindly even if we reached the hotel at 1am. :) we absolutely recommend it!

Pros: The staff is amazing, very welcoming, always ready to help you out. The location is great, just 2 min walk from Rua Augusta / the shopping street of Lisboa. Public transports are just outside the hotel. We spent our honeymoon here and would recommend it !
Cons: The choice at the breakfast buffet could be bigger. Also they don’t provide irons.

Cons: Nothing!
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent, within walking distance of two main squares and main walking malls. Plenty of restaurants and shops are located nearby. The Hop On Hop Off bus terminal is only 3 minutes walk from the hotel. A big thank you to the wonderful staff, especially the lovely Alexandra who went out of her way to make our stay so enjoyable.
Cons: Our standard double room was a little on the small side with minimal storage for clothes. Would have been nice to have had tea/coffee making facilities. However, the KS bed was very comfortable and the modern bathroom was spacious with excellent facilities. Slight noise from the nearby Metro was a bit of a distraction at first but after a while we became used to it.

Pros: Fabulous classic hotel. There aren't any small meeting rooms, so I upgraded to a suite to use for meetings. The spacious, stylish sitting room was completely separate from the bedroom and much better - and cheaper - than most normal hotel meeting rooms. Service was impeccable and the price great for a five star experience.

Pros: Place, environment and the view
Cons: The view
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Service. Aesthetics. Bar area and spa.
Cons: Drink prices were expensive. Sometimes service was over attentive. A little removed from the city center.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Stunning hotel in a great location! walk outside and turn left and find a heap of bars/cuisines to eat along with a huge shopping centre 10-15 minute walk away. Views from sauna room and gym are fabulous.
Cons: There was no outside pool or sunbathing at this facility
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We have visited Lisbon before and really enjoyed the renovated Universal Exhibition area especially the aquarium. We saw the Myriad hotel like a huge sail and decided that if we came beck we’d like to stay there. We really enjoyed walking along the waterfront, taking the cable car, visiting the aquarium again, hanging out in the lounge like cafes. We visited the traditional heart of Lisbon by bus and by car (which we parked so we could walk everywhere) - both easy - and loved the atmosphere but were glad to come back to the calm and the huge view over the river. The best of both worlds. The service is truly excellent and very friendly. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. We didn’t have time to try the pool and spa - next time.
10,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and style of the hotel. Hotel was so sleek and contemporary in design but, the staff was warm and very accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the spa as well.
Cons: Menu items were limited. I think they could have a few more choices.

Pros: Everything.. Hotel, Service, Breakfast, Room, Pool, Sauna...
Cons: Nothing
7,0 Good
Pros: good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable room
Cons: very very over priced bar and restaurant, exactly the same beer was four times more expensive in the hotel than in the local bar, the same with the food prices.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is good
Cons: Nothing
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden, palace and outdoor swimming pool
Cons: Nothing!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel without being pretentious
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The palace itself has been restored to its original condition with wonderful public areas whilst the accommodation is in two modern attached wings. We were upgraded to a suite which was vey spacious and comfortable. Meals were outstanding if a little expensive. All staff that we dealt with were very courteous and helpful. The quietness and seclusion of the location makes the slight inconvenience of a taxi ride into Lisbon worthwhile.
Cons: Having to dine in the bar on our first night due to a private function booking out the restaurant. A hotel of this class should have an exclusive dining area for house guests available at all times.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The building itself of course, a wonderful travel in the history of Portugal, Pousadas are not to be compared with any luxury hotel, they are far beyond as they provide a unique historical experience. The welcome of the people working there, their elegance and dedication, with a special mention for Rita and Manuel who took great care of us and made our stay trully wonderful.
Cons: The first room was a bit noisy because close to the air conditioning system
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Superb breakfasts!
Cons: Under flight path to Lisbon airport so aircraft noise always in back round.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: very opulent...
Cons: the sauna and steam room areas are not the best. and steamroom was not working at all...
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The gardens were a refresher from the city. The palace building is beautiful.
Cons: The facilities need updating. Also, renovation to the palace will give it a better look and feel. It feels now as a museum more than a hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so helpful. They gave us an upgrade on arrival and let us have a late check out the next day. Faultless.

Pros: Apartments beautiful and large, breakfast service to the apartments, play area and creche service for toddlers, location of the hotel. Great hotel in general.
Cons: Restaurant of the hotel was average. We went only once and we found the food not good, especially compared to all other services and facilities of the hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room has everything you need and they really care about the details.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delicious and everyone that worked at the hotel very helpful and attentive. Our apartment was beautiful, the living room and kitchen were amazing and we loved having our own space. The location was perfect and easy to get everywhere in Libson from here. The only reason that we may not stay again is that it was pricer than many other places we found in Portugal and we would maybe try to look for something a bit more reasonable since we were not in our room often. Our kids were teenagers, if they were young I think the value would be worth it because they are set up for babies and toddlers very well!
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Everything is perfect except that there is a mosquito in room. We got several bites.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the facilities, the staff; especially the concierge service and the kids club staff. Our son was only in the kids club for 1,30 hours one day because there was cinema night at 19.00. They were very sweet and accommodating. We also ordered food for our son after the film 5 min before they closed the restaurant. They did not make us feel bad about it at all, on the contrary they encourage us to do it.
Cons: If I have to say something I would say the breakfast. It was well stocked but it could get a bit busy specially if you ordered cooked things. They have thought of that though and you can order bkfst to your apartment. You can also take all to go if you have an early flight or your kids do not feel like eating at the time.
7,0 Good
Pros: Locations and size of the apartment great
Cons: the housekeeping and size or functionality of the bathrooms, too small for such apartments suites
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything.
Cons: Some renovation especially in the bathrooms would be required.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The kids club made our trip! Warm and flexible staff - could not ask for more. Thank you so much to everyone in the club. The front desk staff are wonderful. Always super helpful and made us feel incredibly welcome. Great location within walking distance to great restaurants and bars as well as Time Out Market. Apartment was very spacious with lovely light and stocked with everything we could need.
Cons: Service at breakfast needs a lot of improvement. Apartment could use a fresh paint if coat in certain rooms and carpet cleaning but otherwise in great shape
10,0 Excellent

Pros: Front desk and restaurant staff was terrific and helpful, breakfast was excellent quality and offered a great selection.
Cons: Television made loud, crackling noises on several channels, upholstery on a chair was extremely worn, carpet had a bad stain.
7,0 Good
Pros: Clean hotel, delightful staff in a different location providing a different view of Lisbon both figuratively and actually.
Cons: Roof top bar rowdy, check in issues requiring 3 visits to the front desk, previous customers' mini bar usage on our bill, bed saggy in the middle & a little worn, just a few of the niggles....
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with great choice communal areas and lovely excellent restaurant and breakfast.
Cons: The lighting in the room is over- complicated.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the hotel!! Amazing decor, great rooftop pool, lovely spa, tasty breakfast, beautiful big room and fantastic staff!
Cons: Loved everything but we were a bit disappointed that we left the room at 9 am and they were cleaning it at 6pm! They then came back to clean the bathroom when we were in the room!! But such a small thing for such a lovely hotel :)
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The decor, the staff and the bathroom were all excellent. Breakfast is also brilliant, they have everything you could possibly want. I requested some blueberries , and the waiter returned with a variety of berries for my wife and I.
Cons: The only negative experience we had was having to ring reception 3 times to get fresh towels to our room. We stressed that we needed them asap however over an hour and a half passed and still no towels. After ringing a third time, the receptionist seemed shocked that our request had not been addressed by housekeeping who she had instructed to bring us towels. The secretary did apologise but this was no good to us as both my wife and I had to go out that evening without a shower.

6,2 Good
Cons: When we (group of six people) book with paid in full and check in to hotel, we DID NOT know that we have to pay the taxes 2 euros per day and the person help to check in did not mention that either. After we signed our name on the card which we DID NOT see the taxes 2 euros per day on the card, but when we check out someone put that taxes 2 euros per day on the card afterward. THAT IS NOT RIGHT. IT IS THE MATTER OF PRINCIPLE. They can put any amount on the card after we signed. We REFUSED to pay the taxes. I hope that the hotel do not charge us.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super hotel. Alles klopt
Cons: Alles was top
7,5 Good
Cons: Messed up my reservation despite booking weeks before. Double booked our suite so ended up with 2 adjoining rooms- not the suite I paid for. No goodwill gesture, just offered to cancel my stay and refund me - after I had arrived!!

Pros: Brilliant sevice, great food, stunning rooftop bar and restaurant. Staff were very helpful and a perfect location to see the sights and sounds of Lisbon.
6,8 Good
Pros: Location is fantastic! It is right on the main street and within the walking distances to all key monuments, businesses and restaurants. It has a lovely lobby and plenty of meeting rooms
Cons: Rooms are old and tired. I did not like the pool which is kind of oddly designed and outdoor. I think because it is so highly occupied, there isn't enough free time to do a proper Capex which is much needed for this property.
5,7 Okay
Pros: Clean and location
Cons: Staff is ok, but the so called lady executive mgr was not friendly and not try to solve problems. She did not try to make a six dollar error on a 3 nite stay. She said that mistake had to make by their executive DIRECTOR . That six dollar had to charge when we check out( they did not tell us when we checked in. And our was a PREPAID stay). The washing sink basin was made of kind of soft pastic( in a 4, 5 star hotel ??).

Pros: super kind staffs, nice location
Cons: there're only few kinds of food at breakfast, and the fruits were NOT FRESH (this is because all the refrigerated food such as fruit, cheese, ham, etc are put outside at 3am.... I saw staff putting the food outside at this time), room quality is very normal, nothing special to say, fado live performance was not really good....
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Location was really good. Going for a run along the water front first thing in the morning and coming back for a really good shower set me up for the day!
Cons: The breakfast wasn't great. Eggs had been under the warmer so long it was like they had a plastic skin on them. However, there were a fair amount of options, so I did manage to have an ok breakfast. Just not sure it matched the 15 euro price tag.

Pros: Wonderful peaceful hotel w a boutique feel tucked in the heart of the Alfama district. Amazing views from both the rooftop bar and beautiful, quiet & comfy but modern and huge premium room w king size bed and large terrace :) Bathroom was good size, offering nice bath products and large walk-in shower. My husband and I checked in 1800 on a Saturday night and the hotel manager was still able to book us a table at a nearby nice restaurant at 1900!!! Had to leave early the next day to catch our flight so missed out on breakfast on the terrace :( will have to come back!!!

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Helpful friendly staff. Great windows for keeping out noise as hotel is very central and on busy street.
Cons: We booked a standard room as it was all that was available for two nights. Tiny windows that felt like you were in a prison cell! We were able to upgrade for one night but I wouldn't recommend booking standard room. Premium room was gorgeous though. Own little rooftop patio with view over Lisbon and castle.

Pros: Gorgeous hotel with spot-on amenities. Fantastic and very friendly staff. Breakfast was very well done.

Pros: Browns was a small boutique hotel in downtown Lisbon. It’s location made exploring easy and the staff at the desk and the bar were amazingly helpful and always happy. The room, although small (small room with street view) was perfect. All the little details and extras made up for the lack of size. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.
Cons: If I had to find anything to dislike it would be trying to get in room the first time. There was a little trick to opening it with the key.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent and the room had everything we needed.
Cons: The breakfast could have been a bit more better, especially offering some more gluten free things. They just had bread.

Pros: Loved the quirky decor. Bedroom felt luxurious and the bar was a great place to unwind. Central location was perfect for exploring Lisbon.
Cons: Don’t expect a quiet location as it is straight out the front door onto the busy streets of Central Lisbon. However, once inside the front door it was easy to unwind and relax, ready for the next adventure.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Really kept you going through the day. The roof terrace was a hit with both the kids and the grown-ups. (Wasn't the cheapest drinks in town though.) Location was good, just around he corner for the old bullfight arena. The area itself wasn't that interesting I guess, but the Metro was just 20 steps from the hotell entrance, and took you to any area in Lisbon in just a few minutes. (A day pass made the journeys very easy.)
Cons: I have no complaints. We were kept waiting for service at the roof top a couple of times, without many guests around, that was a bit annoying, but that's it really.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very good Hotel, nice infinity pool, friendly staff and good location outside of the usual tourist spots in a charming residential area. The breakfast is huge. Good for families with kids too.
Cons: A bit noisy at night due to the proximity to one of the main roads. The tube is closed by but you need to change line to go to the center. There are also plenty of buses that bring you to the center. A taxi to the center is roughly 6,5 euro. You can find a supermarket just on the other side of Avenida da Republica. There are plenty of cheap and good tascas (small family restaurants) in the neighborhood.

Pros: Lovely pool area. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: 45 minute walk to main attractions. Expensive breakfast.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms with very comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Very good breakfast
Cons: A bit too far away from the centre to walk, however the metro is in front of the hotel and brings in 10 minutes to the centre.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Rooftop bar and gym
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself is gorgeous. The staff were lovely. The bed was huge and so comfortable. There was a rain shower in the bathroom in the room. And the rooftop pool and bar area was lovely. You could watch the planes dropping over the city.
Cons: The location was quite far outside where you wanted to be in the city, there wasn't a lot around. It wasn't a big issue as we just got Ubers everywhere for less than 5 euro but meant you had to plan where you were heading each day. The indoor pool was 12 euro each to go into per day. It is really nice and relaxing but the price is a bit steep for a swim. Breakfast was also a really expensive addition to the room so we didn't opt for it.

Pros: The style, cleanliness and service. The staff was very good, especially at reception and at the restaurants
Cons: No iron board in the room and lacking hooks to hang the towels in the bathroom
8,0 Excellent
Cons: location is far from main touristic attractions and not much around (walking distance)
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel which exceeded our expectations. Little one loved it. Lovely breakfasts with live pianist! Good location; 5 mins walk to metro and mainline station so very easy to get around town and day trip to say Sintra. Would highly recommend.
Cons: I'm probably being veeeery picky here. I'm used to there being a kettle in the room so I can make a cuppa, however there was no kettle for tea making within the room itself. Had to call room service and they delivered our tea (with pastries, which was nice actually), but would have preferred to make it myself at my own convenience to be honest! There was a coffee machine with sachets in the room for coffee lovers! May not be an issue for most people though I suspect!

Pros: The breakfast was excellent. Served in comfortable surrounds with a very good range of food and good service.
Cons: The room we were allotted was a little small but relatively comfortable. In this regard we are completely ignoring the bathroom. The bath was blocked and we requested that this be un-blocked and cleaned 3 times. My wife then discovered dried blood spattered on the bathroom floor. As it was a marble floor the blood was difficult to see, but rubbing with a tissue soon exposed the problem. It was quite obvious that the floor had not been washed and cleaned thoroughly. After a bitter complaint to the service desk on our last night we were given another room. The Manager was not available to talk to us as it was the weekend!!

Pros: The food at the restaurant is really tasty. You have access to the fitness centre across the street which includes gym, pool, sauna. Very close to the business park. Friendly staff
Cons: The pillows weren't really comfortable
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lagoas Park Hotel never disappoints me. Excellent breakfast with quantity and variety, helpful staff and everything super clean. It is a great place for 1 night business stays.
Cons: This time one of the waiters was too eager to have everything clean and took my things too soon (plate, yogurt, ...)! That was not pleasant but forgivable...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Professional. Very well kept.
Cons: All good. Except they couldnt provide me with a usb adaptor to charge my phone. That felt odd in a business hotel.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was attentive and friendly. Breakfast buffet had a great selection of foods. Free garage parking. Very close to the highway.
Cons: Nothing in particular...if anything, the windows could use a cleaning. The view was not spectacular from the room, which makes it easy to overlook the issue.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room are pretty spacious which is definitely a plus. Breakfast is good (both in variety and quantities) and all amenities are what they should be for a 4 stars. Staff is courteous and efficient. Nice place definitely if you are on a business trip
Cons: Located in the middle of a business park... that means not much in terms of restaurants or other entertainment possibilities. In the evenings when business shut down you either have transportation or you’re pretty much stuck with hotel restaurant. If you’re working you probably do not care (I did not in fact) and the food at the hotel restaurant is pretty good and reasonably priced.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at this hotel are just amazing...! From the welcome they provide to the ease with which they processed requests. The restaurant is also excellent. We had 2 dinners that were great. Would love to visit again and highly recommend.

Pros: Nice, clean rooms. Great breakfast. Comfortable bed. Huge Tv! Good Wifi.
Cons: Weird placement for hair dryer. Installed inside closet. I had to call reception to find out if they had hair dryers in the rooms. Didn’t care for the pillows. Although they are big and soft to lean back to watch TV, they are too big to sleep. Instead of just placing my head down on the pillow, I ended up with head and shoulders over the pillow. They were too soft for my liking.

Cons: Breakfast should be way better

It is still just a few minutes walk from the Marques de Pompal and the main walking street Avenida de Liberdade. I really like the new rooms and indeed the rooftop restaurant which has an amazing view of the sunset.
Cons: I did not like the small swimming pool and the poor little fitness centre. I have expected the Gym and Pool to be much better than other Portuguese managed hotels but this wasn't the case.

5,8 Okay
Pros: The staff were amazing, but the rest was extremely poor.
Cons: For what I paid and what I got was not pleasent. My room was discustingly dirty with curtains broken and dust everywhere. I had request my sheets to be changed on the first day and I contacted the maintenance guy for assistance. Who Also witnessed the dirty room. When I requested the rate to be dropped as the value for the room was un fair, I was told that this something they can not change. Depending on the feedback I receive from the Hotel and compensate I will then give my feed back online (trip Advisor, Complaints Etc) for others to view.. At breakfast, waited 20 mins for eggs, Your catering services for muslims was completly unfair, as you do not custom for Muslims at all. This as my opinion is unacceptable as we live in a very multicutured society. I would not personally recommend your hotel to anyone. As an addition: The room looked like someone had wiped it with a dirty wet spnge. Also when I asked for a charger I received a broken charger, which I also had to request maintenance to fix. Also as addition: At the bar down stairs, I ordered a drink and I only took a few sips and as I was talking to a colleague someone had picked up my drinks a disposed it. I can add a lot more, but I cant be bother as I am fully aware that you will not compensate me for anything.

There are also train stations easily accessible from this location. The Altis Grand Hotel is in the heart of Lisbon. There are many things to do right around this area. All kinds of travelers will find their needs met by this hotel but it is an especially good choice for business travelers.

Cons: A bit oldish though.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Cons: Facilities were old, run down, broken.

Pros: The location was good, Lisbon is a small city and you can easily go around on foot. The hotel was close to many different locations. The rooms were big and comfortable.
Cons: The cleaning could be improved further. I never got capsules for the coffee machine. The only problem to me was the carpet it made the room smell a little.

Pros: As always thank you for the hospitality. Its the second time we celebrate our wedding anniversary staying at your hotel. The staff is always super. Rooms as expected, clean and spacious. The rooftop is great and of course the location of the hotel is excellent. Keep it up and once again thank you.

Cons: I ended up at the Altis after a very long day of travel and a disastrous Airbnb experience left me and my friends without a place to stay. Desperate, we found the Altis on Kayak with a 5-star rating and were willing to put a little extra money in given how nice the place looked in the app. Unfortunately, this ended up being a terrible experience. The staff was extremely slow and unhelpful, making us wait a very long time to get to our rooms after a very long day. Moreover, the rooms bore absolutely no resemblance to the photos we saw on the app - they were outdated, dingy, and dirty. There were hairs in our showers, and the floors were stained. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The wifi didn't work, coming in and out every few minutes. In fact, we ended our stay early given how bad the conditions were - though it took ages to do so at reception. There is no way this hotel is 5 stars and it should not be advertised as such. Personally, I would like for the hotel to compensate me in some way for such a misleading and poor experience.

Pros: Friendly staff and very clean rooms . Plenty of choice for breakfast The location of the hotel was perfect for us . Out of the way but close enough to the restaurants and metro. Comfy beds and a fab shower

Pros: The room was amazing - we got an upgrade. Balcony, nice view, the bathroom was huge, everything very nice.
Cons: Too many rules for pool use (it's inside the spa, my daughter just wanted to have fun). Breakfast was ok, but not the amazing thing I'd expect for the price. Rooftop bar does not open on Mondays. Main restaurant was closed for renovation (in the middle of the high season!).

Pros: Nice decor and friendly staff
Cons: Construction (banging, hammering, drilling) was taking place right above my room, which was inconvenient when I needed to have some conference calls. Also, the main reason I booked this hotel was for the gym as I was traveling for business. Therefore, I was disappointed to see that the receptionist at the gym / spa area allowed people to enter and use the equipment with sandals and with children. This is not safe practice and the hotel also did not display any signs about wearing proper equipment in the gym or children using the equipment improperly. It did not have a big impact on my stay, but should be noted by the hotel and improved going forward.

Pros: Concierge staff were terrific, location of the hotel was close enough to many sights, breakfast was amazing
Cons: Booked a superior room with courtyard view, got a small bed and not view to speak of Other hotels we stayed in Paris or Warsaw offer complimentary water, here it’s only one time on arrival and they don’t advertise it unless you ask

Pros: Great hotel, very clean, comfortable bed and really big room. Very close to Av de Liberdade. Nice pool and sauna.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The location was amazing, the morning watering staff were lovely especially (Paulo) who couldn't do enough for use at breakfast and the guest service team was very helpful with good information on the city. The room was very spacious with a fantastic bathroom and the food gifts that we received everyday was a lovely gesture.
Cons: Some staff were rude and unhelpfully. the sofa bed was broken, uncomfortable and had to use blankets to build a bed. The breakfast food was the same everyday nothing different.
