Pros: There was plenty of staff, standing around.
Cons: There was a major storm that removed all cars from the rental pool. While Alamo is not responsible for an act of God, I did feel that they could have been more proactive in finding me an alternative rental (example- have called other companies locally to check availability.

Ford Escape not a good value for rental cost.
Pros: Very clean car. Great drop off service with no problems.
Cons: Car was not a good ride. Loose license plate was noisy the whole time and finally figured out the flapping sound a few days before turning the car in. Did not like the idea that I was charged an extra $5/day for my spouse to be a driver. I have rented many cars and was never charged extra for a spouse driver . Thought we were getting a Jeep and ended up with a Ford Escape!

Not What I Reserved...
Pros: The truck had low miles and was clean. The rate was decent and the process of renting the vehicle was easy.
Cons: I'm a tall guy so I rented a FULL SIZED truck and I got a "3/4 ton Toyota Tacoma" (not a FULL SIZED truck). If you go on the website and look at a full sized truck it says Ford F-150 or similar. A Tacoma is not similar to a F-150. A Tacoma is actually a 1/4 ton truck and is classified as a mid-sized vehicle. Feel like Alamo is not being very truthful here...

Pros: Nice, newer vehicle. Was expected to meet our needs.
Cons: Rear tires with worn tread. Experienced 2 flat tires. Alamo reps were supposed to call me back when replacement vehicle was available. He never called me. Tire ratings are not acceptable for that area. "Maintenance Required" light came on. Pictures available upon request

Pros: I like absolutely nothing about renting from Alamo.
Cons: I didn’t like that I reserved an F150 or equivalent and I was given a Toyota Rav4! I also didn’t like that I was charged for insurance I don’t ask for. And the employees for Alamo in Billings Montana were totally unprofessional. Never going back to Alamo!!!
