Pros (+) Overall, everything was great. Location is perfect for flying to the airport. Staff was very helpful and really wants to help you! Room was comfortable and clean. 24 hour shuttle was awesome! Great value for the money. For those who arrive at off hours there is a Denny's close by.
Cons (-) Our only negative was the breakfast which was very processed (e.g. scrambled eggs were bland) and not enough variety for the cost of that hotel.

Pros (+) Came in on a late flight to San Jose and stopped off at the Holiday Inn Express for a night before jumping off into the Costa Rican countryside in the morning. For this purpose it did exactly what it needed to do. Shuttle bus that picked up at the airport was a plus.
Cons (-) A little bit pricey for what you get but not acceptable for one night. The breakfast options were pretty basic but in their defense they were a typical Costa Rican style (gallo pinto, eggs, coffee, and some fresh fruits). Traffic at the intersection in front of the hotel can be horrific so keep that in mind if you will be driving. Also, keep an eye out for the shuttle bus that comes around outside...

Cons (-) The traffic at the entry to the hotel is nightmare.
