Hotel Granus - Aachen - Building
1
8,9 Excellent (807 reviews)
R1 469+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Granus in Aachen, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of RWTH Aachen University and Aachen Cathedral. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely family run hotel with decent rooms. Comfortable beds and good shower. All was very clean and the room spacious. Breakfast had many options to pick from. 10 minute walk from old city centre. They also catered for a baby bed in the room! Had a pleasant stay!
Cons: Nothing actually. A very small side note would be the tiny elevator that could not fit a baby car. However if there's space in the bicycle department you can place it there.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast great and very good service. Rooms nice but a little bit small.
Cons: The not working creditcard machine.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, service was excellent. It is convinient for people traveling by car.
Cons: WiFi could be better.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is just great. Room comfortable, clean, quiet at night. I was able to get breakfast half an hour before the actual time since I was leaving earlier.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms, cozy bed and great breakfast
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Well cared for hotel with friendly owners and a sense of style. An excellent breakfast, parking as promised and a most comfortable bed.
Cons: Alas, in the hot weather, our small front-facing double room (Nr21) remained exceedingly hot despite the room's fan and, in the night, street noise (emergency vehicles) and above all a party opposite and people talking loudly and shouting around on the pavement meant that we hardly slept. A great pity as this hotel is excellently run. The hotel was also a fair walk from the city centre.
6,8 Good
Pros: Room was as advertised.
Cons: When I arrived I stated that I had a reservation. The host was apparently shocked by this because she reacted: "but we have a lot of reservations. Why do you not tell me your name?!". And immediately after she told her husband in German: "he says he has a reservation, but wont tell me his name!" I never expected such a weird first encounter. Usually the appropriate reaction is: "Hi, welcome at our hotel. On which name have you made the reservation?" Afterwards, I was informed that the electronic payment terminal did not work, so they asked me to pay in cash the day after. Unfortunately, we had an accident in the room where the mirror was damaged. The host wanted us to pay in cash another 200 euro for the mirror (which my insurance wont cover). However, weirdly enough, the electronic payment system suddenly worked when I stated that I did not have another 200 euro in cash. While 2 minutes before, the electronic payment system was still broken. I find this a weird coincidence. Apart from this, they also tried to overcharge us on our hotel bill by 30%. Even tough the hotel itself was really beautiful and good, I am rather bothered by the service.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, comfortable rooms & great breakfast.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The room was recently refurbished and very tastefully done. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was very varied, lots of choice, really nice. The owners were very friendly and spoke very good English. We reserved a parking place so that was good too. It took only ten minutes to walk into the centre, but you could catch a bus if you wanted to.
Cons: If we had not reserved a parking place we would have had to street park, which looked a bit tricky to find somewhere to park.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient, comfortable, kind hospitality. Will call again.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: the staff was exeptional
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, quiet and clean hotel in the center of Aachen. Grat staff, perfect location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic position on the main square. Lovely large bedrooms and good bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect! The reception very friendly, good breakfast with nice service. The room had everything we need, not very big. Small bathroom but good shower. The bed was small
Cons: There is no place to store your bike for the night in a save place. That felt not good but everything turned out good, they were still there the following morning
8,3 Excellent
Pros: It is right on the market square and the breakfast was superb.
Cons: No a/c during an unseasonably hot period. We had fans but it was hot. Being on the markplatz was a blessing and curse - the party died down around 2 am and the garbage came in around 5.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, and good breakfast
Cons: Our stay corresponded with extremely hot weather (37 deg +). And lack of air conditioning was a challenge. Staff left a fan running for our arrival which was much appreciated.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!
Cons: We were there on a Saturday night. There was a lot of loud music and noise from the nearby bars late into the night.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was just right. Claudia and her alternate host/cook were not only delightfully friendly and welcoming; they also did a terrific job of making eggs and coffees to personal order.
Cons: The only shortcoming in the face of the record heat wave was the lack of air conditioning. Temperatures of 40 C or more couldn't have been anticipated. Therefore, I wasn't expecting air conditioning, but being in a room on the top floor eventually led to the room temperature building to 32 C by the end of the heat wave. Fortunately, I checked in 3 days before the heat wave started to build, so I experienced the hotel when the temperatures were quite pleasant. If it weren't for the high heat, I would give the hotel top ratings in every area.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for Aachen. Good reception, but did not really listen to our questions. Room on third floor very nice. The elevator was claustrophobic and extremely slow so we walked up and down. Not a big issue for us, but it was quite steep.
Cons: Why not open the windows in the room for us on this extremely warm day?
Novotel Aachen City - Aachen - Building
3
8,5 Excellent (1 358 reviews)
R1 958+
Overview Reviews
The Novotel Aachen is centrally located in the heart of the imperial city, just a few minutes' walk from the historic old town, cathedral and Eurogress conference center. The 154 rooms are air-conditioned, sound-proofed and very spacious, with free WIFI, sofa and tea/coffee-making facilities in an innovative design. The restaurant offers regional and international dishes, along with the bar and large sun terrace. Relax in the steam bath housed within the fitness area, which looks out across the city.
6,8 Good
Pros: Location and the clean of the room.
Cons: Poor English of the staff. The guy in the bar prepared a cash bill without asking, then when we tried to put on the room he left to do it, then he's back saying it wasn't possible as we weren't taken a warranty during the check-in... While for the breakfast we're told to do exactly this way, putting on the room and nobody at check-in asked us for a deposit. For 7.50 eur it would be weird anyway. At check out the receptionist did mistake the room we're leaving. The bed in the room was small while there was space to put a bigger one. Entire room was quite spartiate, what you expect from Ibis budget, not from Novotel...
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel with parking. Novotel level. My kid's loved the complimentary ice cream from the front desk. Thank you very much. Breakfast is good.
Cons: The location is ok, 10 minutes walk from the central plaza, but the street in front of hotel is dirty with a lot of homeless, beggars and junkies. It is not hotel's issue, but it is not comfortable to walk out of the hotel in the evening time.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The customer service was perfect. Breakfast was amazing and the location was superb. Close to everything, clean and safe. Loved my stay!
Cons: Nothing I could think of
7,5 Good
Pros: we lıked talking to Norman at the receptıon, when we come to hotel after 12 o clock at midnight, he is a great receptıon guy, please let him know!!!!
Cons: Did not lıke paying to the hotel ı m satıying 14€ per night, if ı don t come back to this hotel this would be the reason.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Always friendly and helpful staff
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location great. Breakfast good, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean.
Cons: When you book a 4star hotel and you pay 170€/night you expect to have a free parking place. The water pressure was not as expected, but we can ignore this matter.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Hotel is very quite even it is lying in center of city. Staff is very cooperative.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good service. Friendly staff, 15 minute walk from attractions and shopping. Good price for parking.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: I like the lobby with refreshing drink.
Cons: First room was hot, aircon is not well functioning, I have to close windows because of the noise of the main roads . Second room’s aircon is not cold either... we came in a hot summer day.... I think aircon needs Freon. But for one day is good enough.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Within walking distance to almost all the attractions. Air-conditioning.
Cons: Nothing really

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room style was older traditional brown German furniture but comfortable and functional. The breakfast was just right - although very German country style. The highlight was the attached restaurant where the food was EXCELLENT.
Cons: Lighting a bit dim
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Nice spacey room with an extra bed. Very close to motorway for onward travel.
Cons: Bed broke when getting into it, but fortunately there were three, so both of us could sleep and did not need to change rooms. Could not find plug for the sink, same as 2 years ago. Lighting in bathroom could be better (one broken bulb). Lots of noise from loud talking people outside as they left the restaurant.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, very dog friendly, great food and breakfast, room was good and clean. We definitely will return.
Cons: The only thing missing was a shower curtain.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant hotel. The room was superbly clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: clean, alot of parking, building is well maintained, the breakfast is super, the staffs are also friendly
Cons: wifi not working, crib not prepared, not getting double bed room
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Stayed for an overnight on the wa home and this Hotel was very convenient for the motorway. Reasonably large clean room.
Cons: Souds churlish, But I'd rather they'd ask if we would like an English language menu rather than assuming. I know they are just trying to be helpful but after more than 20 years of visiting Germany My undrstanding of the menu is often better than their translations.
6,8 Good
Pros: Good restaurant and Bar next door
Cons: Room a bit dated, bathroom dark.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff who took care of me upon my very late arrival. The meal was lovely, so was the beer. Breakfast - plenty to choose from and good strong coffee.
Cons: Mattress in my room was too soft for me, but I understand that this is only personal preference.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to reach of the motorway. Good staff very friendly. Good room very clean. The food was excellent in the restaurant. The duck was superb. Just a great place to spend the night. Wood highly recommend.

Pros: Clean, large rooms. Great restaurant and fantastic evening meal and breakfast. Underground parking (10 euros).
Cons: Too far to walk into town and after a long drive we didn’t want to get back into the car. Didn’t see Aachen at all which is a shame. Bathroom was v clean but old.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very efficient reception. Nice breakfast. Our room was very large with a sitting room and kitchen and good sized but clinical bathroom designed for wheelchair use. Booked a double bed but had two singles pushed together which was unsatisfactory.
Cons: Room furnishings are tired. Bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke. Main areas have been refurbished but the rooms are in need of updatiing. No air con on the hottest day of the year
5,0 Okay
Cons: I paid 346 euro for triple room and it was the cheapest room in the hotel , there is cooking equipment but no cooking supplies like plates fork knife or...…. it was the smaller room just they add a sofa bed for the third gest ,the hotel is far from the city and the nearest bus station is far like 1km , I already booked another room for third person and only tow of us we stayed in triple room so I paid another 180 euro more for the third gest . staying in this hotel it was wasting of money I will never go back to this hotel again .

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic good bed, I slept like a rock Excellent breakfast
Cons: A bit warm in the room (No AC)
6,8 Good
Pros: Interesting location, many facilities
Cons: Reception desk was not very welcoming. My 2 earlier bookings (for same room size, among the most expensive) delivered much more satisfaction (e.g. 2 vouchers for a cocktail, 2 vouchers for their massage water bed). Hence, value for the money went drastically down.

Cons: Everything was great
9,5 Excellent
Pros: We like the social space from the hotel, you can really enjoy and relax there and make a good cup of coffee. The minibar was our favorite. The location was ok. There is a Bushof not far from the hotel it just takes 5-10 minutes by walk. You can take the bus 350 to Maastricht here. To the old town of Aachen is a bit far... 20 mins walk or take a bus... The breakfast was good. Lots of choices and you can have a fresh pancake as well. Good value for money definitely.
Cons: The surrounding and area of the hotel is situated in a very shady part of Aachen, meaning if you want to walk to the old town or city centre you have to pass this area, where there are a lot of shady groups of people and individuals, which we did not expect, one does not feel very safe there!.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean, close to station and center!
Cons: No complaints
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, new, great staff and good breakfast, nice bar. Rooms are good but small if you’re a couple. Location but Aachen is becoming a dirty city, was here a few years ago and it has become less attractive. Overall good hotel and a feeling of safety and comfort in it. I’d go back to the hotel which is.a measure I use of my satisfaction. Yes, and great air conditioning....was needed as very warm spell or weather
Cons: Charging for parking was a gripe, if you are on motorbikes occupy 3 to a bay and share the €8 charge! You spend enough on room, bar and breakfast could at least let guests park free....
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good located and connected
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The lady at check-in was very friendly. Also thumbs up for Mukki (night shift) which gave us some extra service after returning from a long day! He made us a pizza :-) (which is the best thing ever at night). Room was fine, not too big but it was fine for 2 nights. Breakfast was also more than enough and we enjoyed having it. Hotel is very close to the city centre so we also had enough time (beside our visit to festival) to check-out the city. All in all - it was a nice stay!
Cons: We've missed a water kettle in the room with some coffee and tea (to have a cup at night) and a small fridge to put some fruit/sodas inside. Parking inside the property should be free with the booking in my opinion, since you already spend money on your stay. I have never experienced payment for parking at any hotel until now. Lastly, at check-out the front office employee was talking with another couple but saw us standing with the keys of the room, ready for check-out. He didn't pay any attention to us until I moved after 5 minutes and gave him the key.. I think these are points to improve because you can always excuse yourself and quickly handle it to take over the keys from the guests checking out. Also there was not any warm "how was your stay or we love to see you again" and I personally always appreciate such small words. It gives this final "positive touch".
4,2 Okay
Cons: super noisy facing busy street. small room, small bathroom.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Close to the main Hbf , newly refreshed room with carpet on the floor, air conditioning especially as the outside temperature was up to 40 Grad. The air con kept the room at 16 Grad.
Cons: Only one lift, best only use if you really have to as you can wait up to 5 minutes for it to arrive. I used the stairs, keeps you fit.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: good location, breakfast ok,hotel most of the staff friendly
Cons: car park not very big, also girl on check in on Saturday, not very friendly
10,0 Excellent
Pros: New upgraded decor in rooms, Air Conditioning. Breakfasts were great
Cons: Nothing much to dislike.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Near by the city center
7,0 Good
Pros: The pillows were comfy. The staff were friendly.
Cons: There are signs in the hotel room that if you hang.up your towel to reuse that it wont be replaced. I did this and my towel was still replaced each day.
6,3 Good
Pros: the location is good
Cons: there's constant mysterious noise 24 hours, feels like from some sort of machine.......... the sound-proof effect is very bad..... the neighbour is super loud (it's not the hotel's fault, but the sound-proof effect can be better)..... not so satisfactory experience in general, it does not really worth the price

Pros: Restaurant very good if expensive. Room comfortable en suite a little dated. Plenty of parking with petrol station & supermarket, coffee shops etc nearby. Excellent buffet breakfast. Good wi if connection.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location on the edge of Aachen, convenient as a stop over for one night on a bicycle tour. Dedicated bike path besides B258 intersects with Vennbahn and brings you within 100m of hotel. Staff extremely friendly and provided secure access in underground parking for bicycle lock up. Room was modern and very clean. Hotel has small terrace with bar and simple snacks for eating which was all I needed. Although I didn’t try it, a more advanced menu is available at the sister hotel within 10 minutes walk. Breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and the food selection was diverse and had something for all tastes.
7,5 Good
Pros: For what concerns our visit to Aachen, the hotel position is good, but to go to the city center is a bit far away, so it is needed public transportation or a taxi. Anyway, personnel is friendly and the Italian owner is really nice and polite. The breakfast buffet is various and it is possible to eat in the inner garden, which makes the breakfast time really pleasant.
Cons: Bathroom is really small and rather uncomfortable the use of the sink. The lift could be something faster. Just few TV channels.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed!
Cons: The room was very small for a comfort double room.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel on a good location, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, good price/quality relation
Cons: Very difficult to regulate the airco, bathroom is somewhat outdated
8,0 Excellent
Pros: location was very good, rooms clean and tidy, staff friendly, building decor was lovely
Cons: single bed, no bed sheets
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel. Good room. Nice big and comfy bed and pillows. Very nice pool and sauna etc. Good gym. Very good breakfast. Decent WiFi. Good parking availability. We came here again for one night after a great trip here a few years ago.
Cons: The room we had this time seemed half the size of the room that we had last time despite also being a Superior King room (same as the last time). Air-conditioning could also have been stronger. Overall a good stay though and I would certainly consider staying again.
7,5 Good
Pros: You expect proactivity & friendliness from the staff
Cons: wellness - was fully booked and on top of it on Sunday closed!
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The location and the parking are very convenient. The building is very imposing and spacioius.
Cons: There was no bedside table for a reading lamp or somewhere to put one's spectacles/watch.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is very handy for the centre and for access to the motorway. The building is very impressive with a grand staircase.
Cons: As last time, there were only a few hangers in the wardrobe. Breakfast was chaotic. No one obviously clearing up the dirty tables of which there not a few. The carpet and decor in my room needed refurbishment desperately.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very good and the breakfast in whole very good. Tea variety was amazing. And the service at the omelette stand was superior. The only thing that I would like to complain is the quality of the breakfast coffee as tha for me personally is extremely important. Coffee was of poor quality and/or very weak (tasted like water with slight coffee taste). With the price of the breakfast I would have expected something quite different.
Cons: The room smelled like old cigarrettes when we arrived. However it improved when we opened the window and luckily it was so quiet that we were able to sleep window open.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: Hotel is tired needs an upgrade
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to the Carolas Thermal Baths (only 800 metres). Onsite parking. Good Breakfast.
Cons: Nothing really
A&O Aachen Hauptbahnhof - Aachen

7,5 Good (3 300 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at a&o Aachen Hauptbahnhof in Aachen, you'll be in the historical district, within a 5-minute drive of Aachen Cathedral and RWTH Aachen University. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: There was someone at the reception 24/7, so it did not matter at what time we arrived. We could leave our luggage after check-out so we could check out the city without the struggle of carrying our bags. Each 4-person dormitory has its own bathroom, which was cleaned before we arrived.
Cons: Our dormitories were on the side of the train station, so we had a lot of noise from arriving and leaving trains. This should not be too big a problem as long as you are prepared for it. We had to pay extra for the bed linen. As we did not know this before we booked it, it was a slightly unpleasant surprise. They could indicate this more clearly before booking.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a nice stay. Easy going staff 24 hour service. Perfect location
7,0 Good
Pros: Not nice place
4,5 Okay
Pros: I only liked the price and the location. We had to make a short-notice, unplanned trip to Netherlands and we did not have the time to book something better in advance. I have been in hostels before and from my experience the hostels in Germany were really the best, but this one was not at the good standard I remember.
Cons: The pillows were dirty and smelly, 2 of them had yellow stains on them. Very crammed, but it was expected taking into account the price. The bedside table was dirty and sticky, we had a look under it and under the bed and it was also very dirty.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, convenient position. The price for the 4 people dormitories is very cheap, this is why you should not expect luxury, but the place was nice and clean and the wifi was indeed fast.
Cons: It was not clearly stated that the dormitories were mixed for both males and females. Which it was not a problem for me, but I'd say it would be better to make it explicit during the booking process. There were just 4 lockers, which required 2 euros to be locked for 24 h and of course required other 2 euros whenever you open them. On the website it was stated that there were lockers, which is not exaclty true, because of the small amount and this not very nice functioning. I believe some proper lockers are necessary, particurly for who, as I did, share the room with unknown people.
7,0 Good
Pros: Very good price! Breakfast was good!
Cons: The train station/ rails was very noisy, which is why I couldn't sleep. I had to place my bike in the garden in the rain. The girl at the reception was friendly but impersonal like she was playing a tape. Not bad but I was generally hoping for a nicer atmosphere in this hostel.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location was good and easy to find.
Cons: None to comment
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Good place, child friendly, good breakfast and good value for money.
Cons: It was near noisy street but it was expected because of the central location.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and cheap
Cons: Noisy neighbours (other guests) arguing and talking loud after midnight. Even with room closed still noisy
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location if you come by train, friendly staff, clean room, good price.
Cons: They have usually only 1 staff on the reception, we have to wait for a long time if there are many guest. The lobby is a little bit too dark and not so clean.

Cons: The location ..its located around a place with a lot of homeless people around which made it a little scary because every little store had security including grocerie stores
7,0 Good
Pros: Great location. Easy to find. Clean rooms. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Check-in at a machine was a fiasco as the machine was down! So it had to be restarted, which is apparently a ten-minute process. Other than that, it was fine. A decent place and good value for money.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Close to city centre and very clean
Cons: Nothing
7,5 Good
Pros: As usual with Ibis. Clean room...all the necessary for a small stay. Near center. It was veeery hot outside but the climatizer works well.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location was pretty good.
Cons: Staff member very rude when it came to validating our parking - yes we were a little early for the reception hours but he still was very angry and discourteous. We were allocated a disabled room which had a strange wet room compared to our friends staying in another room who had a normal bathroom.

9,5 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was very enjoyable, plenty of choice ... closeness to shopping areas was good parking is good there too :)
Cons: the check in system crashed when we arrived was difficult to get booked in without receptionist there, also machine would not accept the dutch bank pass was not a fan of the bunk bed across the top of bunk bed ... banged head in night on this at night in dark room

7,5 Good
Pros: Our room was quiet. Staff (excluding Peter) was OK. Breakfast was OK. Everything was as expected for this level of hotels. It is 15 minutes walking distance from the center of Aachen.
Cons: We arrived after midnight. We were given the code to enter the hotel too late, when we were at airport (in spite of the fact that we asked one day earlier for details about entering the hotel). We had to use emergency call,The available room was substandard and not according the description and pictures on booking, we paid for. It was on the 5th floor, the bed was accessible from one side, small, under roof slab, uncomfortable. We could not sleep all night. Next morning the lady on the reception (very polity) provided for us a proper room, as expected and paid for, but compensation was not offered for unpleasantness. Peter, who was in charge for contacting us, did not apologized.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I am satisfied with the reply to my deposit thing.Very fast reply by their mail.
Cons: I wish, next time, the people working there should let me know my deposit would be released within 7 days after my leaving.Maybe you talked this to me .You know ,for us ,Chinese people, we can not handle a really perfect English when check in and out .You's better prepare some necessary information in Chinese. Or they may misunderstand and make a bad conclusion to the service you had got.
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff. Location. Breakfast.
Cons: Beds werent clean. Hairs of the previous guests on both beds.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff and good location.
Cons: Bathroom is a little small but manageable.
7,5 Good
Pros: Staff helpful. Good location for spa which is very good. Good parking for cycles. Good recommend eating places in city centre by receptionist especially “The mighty blacksmith” on St Jacobs Street. Great place to eat. Reasonable prices but cash only. Food really great. Service excellent.
Cons: No kettle in room. In a heat wave it got very hot in room but we are talking the highest ever recorded temperatures for Aachen. Area near city centre walking from hotel to centre is to be avoided.
7,0 Good
Pros: Good hotel if you just stay one night and need a place to stay close to Aachen City Center
Cons: The rooms have everything you need but are rather small. We found the mattresses a bit too soft for our liking.
4,3 Okay
Pros: - It was clean / hygienic - 15 minutes walking from centre.
Cons: - the two person bed had two separate mattresses, which moves and makes hugging with partner so uncomfortable. - The rooms were sooo hot (outside temp of 35 degrees). There is no AC and when we asked for a small fan, it was not possible. - The room is located above a very busy and loud street. As above, we were forced to sleep with open windows and could enjoy all the noisy cars, motorcycles and their fumes in our room. - Breakfast of 10 euros did not live up to our standards. For 5 euros it would be a good price/quality - Parking was not available while its advertised as available (do not forget they charge 10 euro for parking a day if available).
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place to stay when visiting Aachen Chio. Bus picks up & drops off virtually outside the door. Hasam was very kind, caring & helpful when we got sick.
Cons: Not used to a single bed & tiny bathroom.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is amazing and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful
Cons: Tiny bathroom for two, smelt of cigarette in bathroom
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff was very nice and friendly!
Cons: I booked a double room, but it was very small! Not enough space for two people! The bathroom was tiny with barely any space to move!
