Pros: "The staff were good"
Cons: "Better seats and it was not Turkish Airline they change to another company"
Pros: "Seats were confortable but when we arrived in toronto, one of our invalid wheelchair was taken away and also had no crew member"
Cons: "Seats were confortable but when we arrived in toronto, one of our invalid wheelchair was taken away and also had no crew member"
Cons: "My suitcase was completely soaked from the rain in Istanbul. It must have been left on the tarmac in Istanbul before it was loaded onto the aircraft. I had clothes on the inside that needed to be dried once in Cairo."
Pros: "Great hospitality, food was as ordered, plenty of drinks, energetic staff"
Cons: "Gate experience at IST was sub par"
Pros: "food was good, and my business class seat was okay."
Cons: "First flight (to Istanbul) delayed, and nobody cared to help with making connecting flight booked on the same Turkish Airlines (THY)! Different THY employees sent me to three (3) different places (with two suitcases in hand) at opposite ends of the huge Istanbul airport before finally pointing to the Business Lounge and causing my missing the connection. Had they directed me correctly and cared about my first delay, I would not have missed it. I lost the first-night pay at the hotel of my final destination, my friends lost their time and money on making trips to pick me up, my ailing relatives were in pieces worrying about me, and so on. In sum, a fun trip (NOT!) ... If you care for some details, here you go... They did not inform their own connecting flight about my delay. Despite issuing me a boarding pass, nobody was looking for me or announcing where I should go. I spent an hour running around the airport at THY employees' misdirections. Business Lounge revealed I was already issued a ticket for next morning's flight (without informing me via my email they had or otherwise). I then looked at their own monitor and saw a much earlier flight the same night on a partner airline. I had to point to that flight, and they issued me a ticket there. No apology, no offer of any compensation. I understand that flights may delay, and I could forgive an honest mistake in misdirection. But this was a wide-spread incompetence and utter unwillingness to help their own business class (!) customer. I can only imagine what pains the economy travelers had to endure! Just to give you a flavor, after realizing that my connecting flight was boarding (when my delayed first flight arrived in Istanbul), I asked the crew to direct me to the best route to my connection. They pointed to the gate personnel. The gate personnel who greeted us DID NOT KNOW about my connection and sent me to the opposite side of the airport without notifying the connecting flight to wait for me. No help/transport was offered. When I made my way to the connecting gate with my luggage, the flight was gone. Nobody to be found from THY around the gate. A neighboring THY gate's employee directed me to the "Care Point" desk far away. A sizable line emerged there, with only two agents working it. I asked one of them if business class was served there. They said, "Yes, get in line, please". After 30 minutes in that line, I approached a "Care Point" agent (a cruel name for no-care-whatsoever service) who told me "You need to go to the business class desk upstairs. Economy only here!" No apology, no expression of concern, yelling "Next!" when I told her that I wasted 30 minutes of valuable time in line at their direction and would appreciate her doing something to help or making sure I reach the right person. Off to the "business desk" I go... another 15-min. run in a different direction with luggage in hand. That desk could not help either...ARGHH. Do I need to continue?.."
Pros: "Friendly and helpful flight attendants, delicious food, great movie selection."
Pros: "The crew was really friendly and responsive. Boarding was easy and hassle free because Business class passengers had to go through a seperate gate to board."
Cons: "The food was OK, especially the appetizer as it was all cheese and since I dont like cheese, I rate it poor. The inflight entertainment was good but there was a lack of choices in music and tv shows."
Cons: "The ONLY thing I hate about Turkish Airlines is the necessity to go through security in Istanbul when you're in transit on an international flight. Not only do you have to go through security again - with the serious chance of missing a connection - but if it's a flight to the USA, there is serious additional security at the gate. Surely this is enough."
Pros: "Plane clean, newish. Went up, took us there, landed."
Cons: "The food - I always have a v-meal - is sadly inadequate. Not enough of it, and very unimaginative. And they always supply the same thing, unless I was just unlucky to have the same thing three times in a row. The entertainment system kept dropping playback, (crashing) so I would have to restart playing the video. Something similar happened on another Turkish flight."
Pros: "Comfortable, on time and as always good service from Turkish Airlines"
Pros: "We got to whole destination safely"
Cons: "Once in Abidjan, it became a mess. First we were left waiting for over an hour without any explanation. Then we were told that we had to retrieve our baggage and then recheck them. Hardly anyone spoke English so that was a long and confusing ordeal. Then we loaded on a bus, asked to get off after a while because our flight was delayed, left waiting some more with minimal information before we eventually got on the last leg of the flight. It was a mess."
Cons: "Very disorganized at the airport of Abidjan with mutliplr but useless checkings. It was a tota mess at the security checking. The flight was delayed for 1 h"
Cons: "Boarding was okay though it took longer than 1h. The flight was delayed for 30 minutes because the engine to start it was not functional. Very strangr"
Pros: "I read bad review after bad review of Air Côte d'Ivoire prior to flying them, and so approached this flight with trepidation. To my pleasant surprise, everything went off without a hitch: orderly boarding and on-time departure; comfy & clean new planes; delicious in-flight meal with wine; efficient disembarkation in Dakar with prompt, hassle-free baggage claim. ZERO complaints. This airline is great - don't be like me, book without hesitation!"
Cons: "NOTHING - everything was flawless. Thank you!!"
Cons: "Flights are always delayed and boarding is disorganized. No communication"
Pros: "Never on time"
Cons: "Flights are always delayed and boarding is disorganized. No communication"
Cons: "They changed our return time and added an extra hour layover."
Pros: "Flight was booked as direct abidjan to Ouagadougou on the 8th, then back on 10 th but in fact went past to Niamey then back to Ouagadougou, completely disorganizing all previously made arrangements and without prior warning! Quite unacceptable, as this was a repeat performance of what occurred the previous day, and was obviously planned, yet we were not informed. I will say your flight attendants are pleasant and professional."
Cons: "Lack of communication"
Pros: "Smooth and fast. No problems or complications. Nice that we were served a small meal. Delicious!"
Pros: "Boarding on time, nothing as problem, crew did good job and the food was also okay."
Cons: "cramped boarding space and Addis airport. Inadequate space for volume of traffic. Capital investment in expansion required if Ethiopian to compete!"
Pros: "New aircraft with comfortable business seats"
Cons: "More than 4 hours delay! Not all selection from food menu available"
Pros: "Way more leg room than I expected. The crew was very nice, the announcements were made in 3 languages, which was nice for the non-Amharic speakers!"
Cons: "Boarding in Lomé took a long time, which I believe made us a little later at the airport. Not sure if that is something fixable or not"
Pros: "on time"
Cons: "they woke me up in the middle of the night to give me food.."
Pros: "Leg space, TV screen and entertainment and the decline of the seat."
Cons: "The toilets floors could be cleaned often. The food service cart could move for urgent pass to the toilet."
Cons: "Boarding was a bit strange - everyone seated at the gate had to get up, leave the area, and then wait in line to have their passports checked before sitting back down in the same area. After that though, boarding was perfectly smooth & honestly one of the fastest I’ve seen!"
Pros: "Nice crew"
Cons: "Poor registration, Long queue for bagage scanning in very hot airport Aircraft and business seat just medium"
Pros: "I have only flown one better airline.....Emirates. The crew service was unbelievable. Wonderful experience. I have a new primary international travel carrier!"
Pros: "On the sequrity check our watch was stolen. And we did not get any help from ethiopian airlines...we would like to get help."
Pros: "Plane was spacious and flight crew were nice"
Cons: "The fact that they confirmed that my luggage would make it to my final destination, and now that I arrived in dakar with no luggage it’s no longer there responsability"

Boarding confusion, just asked for a cup of water and the crew answers was shocking

Retard cuisant et criard. Inadmissible. Mon adrénaline a monté. Trop de corrompus et moins de gens intègres dans vos rangs que ce soit à Cotonou et surtout à Accra. A Cotonou à l’agence principale, il vous faut un audit pour le personnel chargé de ventes des billets. Merci de transmettre à Asky

They take your hang luggage and it never arrives to your destination. They don’t follow seating arrangements

Cons: "It would be much better if they didn’t lose my 2 luggage bags with no proper compensation to offer - 50$ is what you get to recover your belongings meanwhile my items lost are worth at least 10,000$.. contacting my lawyer in the morning. Also the plane has nowhere to plug your phone, can’t charge your phone for over 7 hours, no in flight WiFi, and no tv screen to watch movies.. I couldn’t help but wonder was this a 1985 plane? Do not recommend, stay away."
Cons: "This is my first time traveling these airlines and I promise you it’s the last.. the plane had no option to plug my cell phone, no WiFi, not even a screen to watch movies (7 something hours flight).. I was served a loaf of bread cut in half with some spices inside as a meal! But the most horrible part is the fact once landed I found out the lost both of my luggage bags, and All they told me was I’m entitled of an allowance of $50.. tried hard not to laugh as my 50 kg of belongings worth thousands of dollars.. beyond disappointed, aggravated and shocked. Contacting my lawyer in the morning. Do not fly with them!"
Cons: "Please the flight time for connecting in Lome needs to be improved!!!! It's highly stressful for a passenger to be in another country where they don't speak the local language and have to be shuffling to connect to a flight within less than 10 minutes. Any Ethiopian airline connecting flight needs to have at least a 45 minutes gap."
Pros: "Crew very caring and respectful"
Cons: "For me I don’t see any problem with the airline at all. Everything was superb"
Pros: "Convenient flight....surprisingly very nice airports ( Dakar, Abidjan and Lomé). The schedule was very tight to make my connection in Lome since the flight made a stop at Abidjan and then on to Lomé."
Cons: "Based on the price and convenience I really have no complaints. The only area I would improve is the inflight restroom. The door was broken and didn’t close and the inside was quite filthy and the toilet didn’t flush."
Cons: "Overall good but old plane with limited services for entertainment I did not eat but my neighbour did and it looked pretty goo"
Pros: "It was a less expensive option & my luggage arrived to my final destination in tact."
Cons: "Flight was delayed by over 1.5 hours & communication about this was poor. It was particularly nerve wracking because many passengers were trying to make a connecting flight w/ a short layover window. To their credit, the crew informed the connecting flight & they waited for us. But it was stressful."
