Pros: "Unnecessary delays, very rude and inconsiderate crew, both inflight and at the Istanbul Airport. They provided no accommodations for those that missed connections and had very poor organizations. Also, as a physician that was called to a medical emergency on the flight, I received not even a thanks. Also, they were very delayed in getting the medical supplies to us physicians and requires ID prior to opening the emergency kit which definitely delayed care!"

Cons: "The flight to Lviv was cancelled after 3 hours delay. All happens in life. But the only option Turkish airlines were offering is to fly the next day. I was flying to the funeral and this was not working for me (especially this was their second flight to Lviv cancelled - 2 in a row). The transfer desk didn't inform that there were two other flights going the same day of other airlines. When i approached to help me to go with a different airline the personal was very rude saying they will not help transferring the luggage and that they can't unload the luggage sooner than 3 hours after you go out of the security and passport control. When i asked to book to a different destination in Ukraine. It took 50 min at the desk to do it. Simply because 4 people at the desk were laughing and joking and nobody was concerned about the queue of over 40 people staying. After 30 min it turned out they've lost my boarding pass and it took 15 min to find it as one of the transfer guys managers simply took it to a different room... At the end when they found it it took only 5 min to do the work. I would appreciate more information from the desk about available flights and more support to manage the situation. I'm happy that people at the transfer desk are so joyful and happy it obviously helps to deal with the stressed passengers whose flight was cancel."

They claimed that our layover was 9 hr 40 mins (and not 10 hours) and I had to argue before we finally got a transit hotel. Their customer service is poor."

Finally, someone at the airport helped in re-booking our flights but I have yet to have anyone give me an answer regarding compensation! In addition, we are traveling with an infant which isn't easy but we had the bassinet seat on our original flight. Now it's sold out for the flight tomorrow and no one will assist in trying to help get us better seats. I understand things are out of your companies control but being in an airport with an 18-month baby isn't easy and no one in this company has made this crazy travel schedule easier. I would like someone to call me back or email me with something that could maybe be done to help us! No one at the call center will help!"

Cons: "First of all the staff needs to work on their customers service. The flight was 1 hour and 45 min late and I had another flight to get in Istanbul to get to my final destination. I almost did not make it. The staff never gave us an explanation about what happened at the JFK I flew for 10 hours scared and stressed out. I asked the staff if it was possible at the time of landing to get out with the business class or somehow to get out before everybody else, but they were completely useless. Also in the middle of the flight a woman started feeling very bad. She had an intense migraine because of the high pressure, clearly the woman was not used to fly very often. The poor woman was ill and the entire crew was surrounding her. 7 ppl standing in the way of customers, a male attendant touched my shoulder with his private parts at least 5 times. Also every time they passed by the would hurt my shoulder or my arm with out even apologize. What kind of customer service is this? Forgetting about all the other passengers? Creating a situation of panick just because of how unprofessional they are? You can be the most comfortable or cheapest airline company and add all the luggage and food you want but if your crew doesn't know anything in customer service the customer will fly with a different company next time!"

I could go on, but you really need to rethink the design and customer service on your long haul flights."

The crew couldn't do much and so I had to shift myself sideways for the entire journey in order to make space for this obese passenger to rest his arm into and over my seat."
Cons: "They had overbooked the flight and asked to reroute me. I asked if I would still be able to get to my destination at the same time and to make sure I would have a window seat. Everything from the moment I said yes was a terrible. They rebooked me twice on two different routes when I was in the air. Said a steward would meet me (never happened) instead I was running to catch flights on different airlines in two different airports. The entire situation was disgusting. The running was with all of my luggage. Because of the rebooking I was in the last row of 75 rows on a plane with an additional connection. Every flight had delays creating more chaos for the next flight. The only helpful airline in the bunch was Delta."

I have been advised to file an itemized list of everything that was in my bag for reimbursement but I have been informed it will most likely be several months until I receive any payment. I have spent a lot of time waiting on hold to talk to anyone from baggage services and any time I have got through the people have been very unhelpful. I feel the airline should be going above and beyond to rectify the situation but thus far I have been doing all of the work. That is pretty poor seeing as the airline is completely at fault. WIth the terrible service that I have received so far, I am not holding my breath for that reimbursement check."

Communication by British Airways about what was going on and when we could expect to fly was awful throughout, and their customer service was worse than abysmal.
