we were missing our luggage, trying to find someone to have any empathy was pretty much not happening....
The plane broke down at the Lima stopover and they offered to put me on a flight the be t day but I had to be back in LA that morning and so I had to buy another ticket from Avianca and United for $2k I asked LATAM for compensation and received none. Very bad experience
Poor handling of carry on luggage. We had a 8 hour stop in Santiago, are over 70 and, in spite of paying full fare they wanted to send carry on to luggage hold. No empathy. We had to show that several group 4/5 passengers were not sending their carry ons before they finally let Is keep them. Very poor .
Boarding was confusing with a delayed flight because there was no English translation
My biggest complaint is the comfort. I am not tall and there was no legroom. It was very uncomfortable. During my transfer in Sao Paola, the flight was slightly delayed so boarding was confusing because there were no instructions in English.
Horrible the worst airlines I have ever flown. Cancelled flight with no choices and when contacted them they were not helpful
Wider seats, better seat cushions, (I felt like there was a board I was sitting on). I had the chicken to eat but It neither tasted nor looked like chicken. The fruit was good.
I was in the last row and they sent me to check in my luggage last minute after boarding. I had to go through the crowd.
Our flight was cancelled and it took them 5 hours to reschedule and the next morning they said we still didn’t have a new ticket.
I travel often with LATAM, it never disappoints me. The service is great, nice crew, latest and some classic movies. I got 3 small meals, cannot complaint. I’ll definitely travel again with them.
I like the crew, very welcoming. Food can be better. The seat arms don’t go up so. I could use the empty seat next to mine to relax better. 3hrs delay 😠
They sat my 2 year old in the seat behind me, separate from myself and my 5 year-old daughter. When I asked them to fix it they told me to speak to the gate agent in London. When I asked in London they told me to talk to the cabin crew. Then a “Supervisor” stuck us in row 39 at the back of the plane when we were originally sitting in row 25/26. They ran out of food which was gross anyway, and the entertain didn’t work the first hour of the flight. Overall terrible experience.
Terrible service especially for premium economy. Much more comfortable seats on other providers
Friendly hosts/hostesses; dinner was of acceptable, but mediocre standard
Crew was excellent. And no surprise that the seats aren’t comfortable at all. But that is every airline.
The company that I bought my tickets through, Cheapflightsfares, failed to provide my confirmation information in a timely manner, so I was unable to check on at the country and therefore unable to make my flight. As a matter of fact, I STILL have not received the confirmation. After having read more and more reviews about the company, Cheapflightsfares appears to have scammed hundreds of hopeful travelers out of thousands of dollars. Please look into this company and, for the sake of anyone planning their next trip, stop allowing them to do business through you.
British Airways Flight 525 from Florence to London on July 29th 2025 was the worse flight I have ever been on. The flight was excessively delayed with poor communication from airline as to the reason for delay. We were notified of need for an unscheduled stop in Pisa after boarding due to weather which was limiting ability to fuel up to the capacity needed for the flight to London. Though we understand and appreciate the safety concern, on quick web search we later learned this was a recurrent problem. We were subsequently kicked off our connecting flight out of London to Port land, Oregon (also on British Airways) though that flight was also delayed (we were told we would not be able to make it in time, but ironically the amount of time it took for them to rebook us would have been more than sufficient to make the connection). We then had to stay overnight in London at a very mediocre hotel, had to take a flight out on a different carrier which involved a stop at LAX (not a direct flight to our home city which we had paid extra for the convenience). Half of our bags did not arrive in LA and we had to transfer the bags ourselves from the international terminal to terminal 6, only to have most of this luggage that made it from London to LAX not arrive in Portland. They bags were eventually found but took over 60 hours for delivery. The entire trip home which was suppose to be 13 hours took over 40.
I got stuffed on both flights into terrible seats. Second flight the seat didn’t even recline and fit s tall person, that’s very uncomfortable.
For some reason they didn’t give me a seat and said I was on standby and to stay by the gate till I was assigned a seat then right before boarding I got a seat I got to my destination and no luggage
The boarding was smooth, seats comfortable, crew friendly and helpful.
