The meal was excellent and well suited to a short journey.

The meal was excellent and well suited to a short journey.

Original flight was delayed due to technical issue. Very poor communication. The manager only appeared when we were climbing on board the plane. This resulted in us missing our follow on flight also with Airlink. No ticket issued from Skukuza and no assistance when we landed to address the issue. We had to make our own arrangements and go to their sales desk. Again they had no knowledge of the flight delay and of any passengers that had connecting flights. The lady (unfortunately with all the STRESS I have forgotten her name) at the counter was extremely helpful and is an excellent example of the type of employee Airlink need to promote and employ. Our luggage was in limbo due to all the missing information and assistance. We had to resort to buying extra tickets from South African Airways who were extremely helpful. I work at an airport so am familiar with its workings. I will infuture be looking for alternative flights.

Airline is the best airline experience I’ve ever had.

My flight was good no comments Crew members were good Flight on schedule even earlier at some point Thanks

Easy boarding, smooth flight, friendly and helpful attendants. As with every other airline, there isn't enough leg room to be comfortable. Food was adequate.

Easy short flight from Johannesburg to Harare. Boarding was slow, flight attendants were friendly. They did a meal service on this short flight, including wine, which was pretty cool.

Flight was moved forward by 2 hours with 3 days notice. This meant I could not connect from flight from Johannesburg. So did not take the flight and drove to Kasane. Will never use Air Botswana unless absolutely necessary. Mark

The check-in line was long and people were put in front of me in the line even after I said I had checked in online. It took me an hour to finally get my documents checked and drop my suitcase. It was horrible!

Pros: "I was forced to give my carry on bag to be put in the hold. They said that it would not fit in the plane. When we got to our destination, i found that a large sum of money from my bag was stolen,"
Cons: "Security of our baggage should be better. And if you cannot fit the standard carry on bags, then please say so when people make their booking so that they can pack accordingly and do not bring carry on bags that they have to give up at the last minute. it is impossible to remove items last minute."
Cons: "Delayed flight with close connecting flight and none of the flight or ground crew were able to communicate with the connecting flight gate agents. No priority for deplaning and tarmac shuttle was given to those with close connecting flight. Had to sprint through airport and barely made connection."
Pros: "Food and service as well as pilot trying to speak other languages. Great to hear him trying. he put a smile on the teams face. Sounded liked a good leader and that is encouraging, especially as the airline is going through a tough time."
Cons: "Seat comfort and tech access to USB ports etc."
Pros: "The crew was great, the food was fine; it was all very much as good as could be expected. It was a very positive experience relative to industry norms."
Cons: "Boarding (and deplaning) is inherently tedious; I'm not sure what could be done to fix it. And sitting on planes for 17 - 19 hours is just brutal. This is not South African Airline's fault, it's a problem across the board, and i don't see this changing anytime soon. Also, the human air-travel carbon footprint is completely unsustainable, which is also not the (particular) fault of South African Airlines. In fact, it's my fault for participating..."
Cons: "The boarding process was just a free for all. Could not get tv to work, no help from crew. It would have been nice to get our passport control forms on the plane, instead of at airport. Other flights comeng in had theirs."
Pros: "the crew was nice and friendly. the blanket was nice and big"
Cons: "the entertainment screen wasn't very responsive. it would be nice to have more snack options (like chocolate, ice cream, etc.) like other airlines do for such a long flight."
Cons: "Delightful stewardess. Tiny plane, but they still offered sandwiches and drinks!"
Cons: "I wasn’t able to make this flight. So I had to take the next one out which was only 24 hours later"
Cons: "Plane was ancient, the entertainment system failed about 4 times! Food was not pleasant!"
Pros: "- service - the flexibility with seats"
Cons: "- no outlets for e-devices - food is terrible; no good options for vegans - the arm rest do not go all the way back - entertainment system needs upgrading"
Cons: "Many seats the entertainment system didn't work. Both on our outgoing and return trips. Our seats going had one of the two systems inoperable. Coming home both were inoperable. They both were 16 hour flights!!!"
Pros: "Staff were friendly"
Cons: "Entertainment was terrible - kept breaking and sound was bad. Person behind me had Tourette’s and spoke and laughed and yelled all night. No sleep."

They find a way to Nickel and dime you in all creative ways. The boarding crew seems to have target collection amount. If you are flying internationally, avoid them at all costs.

Pros: "Not having to change airports in Sao Paulo!"
Cons: "flight operated by Passaredo. Prop plane, waiting area was very basic. At checkin the rep did not want to add my AA Frequent flier number to my reservation. The flight has TAM (oneworld) flight number so I wanted to get credit but was unsuccessful."
Cons: "They cancelled the flight without any reason and you sent an email the night before departure and as I was in Africa I couldn't read it. So I had to discovered it by other tourists and then I had to book another flight at a higher rate because of the time and I had to cancel a couple of activities already paid to solve all of this and they offer to reimburse just the cost of the flight in 60 days. Horrible experience"
Pros: "Outbout flight was good and on time the return leg on 26/10/15 was delaayed for almost 5 hours and on landing at ORT international airport we were kept on tarmac inside the plane for over 20 minutes due to lack of buses to take the passengers to the arrival terminal"
Cons: "The available snack was crisp and water for sale Overall and appalling way of doing business and diregard to passengers.."
