Cons: "There was an incident prior to take off where a passenger in first class had to be removed from the plane. Though it’s certainly not the airlines fault that there was an issue with a passenger, they should’ve been a lot more transparent and gave us a lot more information on what exactly was going on other then “we need to go back to a special area to get this passenger off.” Couple that with the security checks to “make sure there is nothing on the plane that shouldn’t be” and very little explanation of what actually occurred, it made for a very stressful flight. Not knowing if this passenger had made any kind of threat against the plane, or safety of other passengers... etc, it was very hard to feel safe for the remainder of my trip being left in the dark as the incident occurred in first class."

It was the most uncomfortable flight I've ever been on. the flight was full so there were no reseating options apparently. It was extremely unpleasant."

Disorganized and lacking courtesy in Nairobi JKIA. Business travelers counter not displayed. We paid about $5000 for return tickets because they rudely locked us out saying “you are late.” They had sent us for a new 24 hour COVID test having rejected the 72 hour we had. We did not understand their logic because passengers were still in line. We were in line from 4pm, the flight was after midnight. At PHL, being American citizens, we were not required to present a 24 hour C test! We feel robbed!

Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window."

Pros: "My flight from Chicago to Doha was late to come in and there was a gate agent waiting for us and two other passengers with a sign when we got off the plane. He told us that our flight had already left but he would get us on the next one. We ended up getting seats on the next flight but then were also given the option to get a temporary visa and explore Doha for the night. We opted for the comped night which included a very nice hotel and $100 in meal vouchers. We absolutely LOVED Doha and the hotel and food was fantastic! I don't think I have ever received better service from an airline or a hotel. We ended up walking around Souq Waquif and the downtown until 1am (we are two young females!) with no issue and just used Uber to get to and from the hotel. Everything was so well laid out for us! No complaints whatsoever!"

The Doha airport is an architect's Ego Trip and badly laid out, extremely long walks to get anywhere, ferocious prices for anything (carry snacks for your layover!). The smoking lounge doesn't even have a proper exhaust system so smoke permeates the terminal in the vicinity. Plus 4 bar stools hogged by rude, arrogant young Arab men who have NO respect or consideration for elders, disabled, etc. Incident with boarding passenger in Saigon was VERY badly handled & delayed departure over an hour, risking connections for a number of passengers. They cannot handle things well, yet crew is basically nice, kind. Food is AWFUL; saving grace is fresh fruit, roll & butter, yoghurt - the nice little side dishes."

I spoke with four people at British Airways and five people at the booking agent. Nobody wwpuld verify anything. British Air even said at one point “you are not a customer because you booked through an agent”. That gentleman would not even transfer me to a supervisor for help. He told me “they didn’t exist”. I will never attempt to fly them again."
Pros: "Six years ago, after a very bad experience with this airline, I swore never to use BA again. However, this year, because of my children, I found myself on this airline again and had a very positive experience. The flight was on time, luggage was transferred without a hitch, the food was excellent and in-flight entertainment had a great variety to choose from. The 747 provided a very steady flight experience. Personnel were reasonably helpful. Continue this kind of service - it will help you remain successful."

Cons: "Our British Airways flight was downgraded to a smaller airplane and we were not informed of this until we were in an hour in to waiting in a very long line to check in at the airport. We were unable to check in online the night before but not told why, and then we were unable to check in at the electronic kiosk at the airport but also not told way. When we got into the very confused and long line at the check-in desk 2.5 hours before our scheduled departure, we waited for almost an hour before anybody told us what was going on. They then told us that the flight has been downgraded to a smaller airplane, and that the agents were individually looking into rerouting passengers as they came up to the desk. Yeah sure does that the flight would not leave until everything was resolved and that people who had purchased their flights earlier would have priority. We then waited another 1.5 hours before it was our turn to speak to an agent at the desk. She told us that we would definitely not be getting on the flight because we had not checked in in time, which we had been unable to do. She then worked on rerouting us and offered us what sounded like an excellent flight option direct to Amsterdam on KLM the following day, however when we went to KLM to check in for the flight they said it was overbooked and we could go standby but we would not be guaranteed seats. We went back to her again and she eventually booked us on a Delta flight through Salt Lake City leaving the following day. We are currently in Salt Lake awaiting our flight to Amsterdam. This gets us to Amsterdam 12 hours after planned, Shortening our vacation with friends and causing us to miss events that have been planned. We are very upset that there was no information provided to us earlier and that British Airways did not, as is customary, first seek volunteers to take later flights, before bumping people off due to a lack of seats on their available plane. Instead they gave priority to people that had paid more money to check in with priority. We booked our flights 3 1/2 months ahead of time and feel that we were grossly AND unnecessarily put out by the actions and lack of communication throughout the process with British Airways."

When I first checked in at LHR, they claimed to have no record of my wheelchair request and my seat change, despite my very clear notations of who and when these were made. They did have a record of my paying for one suitcase. The agent at LHR promised to make these corrections so I would not have the same problem when returning to London. Furthermore, to turn this into a humiliating situation, at the gate I was informed that the jetway was broken and they would have to find some other way to get me onboard the plane. I cannot believe that British Airways has no contingency plan for a situation like mine. After many discussions between BA reps and ground crewmen they decided to bring me down in a lift at Gate 34, though my plane was at Gate 32. I was then loaded onto the freight platform of one of those food delivery trucks and driven over to my plane. The truck backed into place and again I hoisted up to the plane. However the plane door was locked and we had to bang on it for them to finally open it. To my great embarrassment I helped down the aisle to my assigned seat, looking back at the curious looks and glares from all those passengers who had no explanation for the delay and humiliating scene. Officially the flight was listed at 28 minutes late, when in reality it was 40 minutes till we taxied away from the gate My return flight from Brussels was little better because the changes that were supposed to have been entered at LHR never were and so I had to go through this whole routine again costing me over one hour in delays. Fortunately I was able to board the flight through the jetway and did not have to be hoisted up again, and delivered like freight. How would you rate these flights. I had problems with every single British Airways flight!!"

A flight from London to LA was exceptional....really kind staff , excellent pilot despite dodgy weather and most amazing of all REALLY good food! Usually I never eat airline food, but wow! Fantastic! Wish I could remember the name of one of the stewards who went above and beyond, despite having some rather demanding, actually outright rude passengers! Well done!"

Cons: "Seat was exactly the same as coach. My vegan meal consisted of 2 tiny plates of fruit and a soggy, egg-free omelet with unflavored tofu and no salt. Disgusting. Staff was snobbish and full of it. No on-board entertainment, no wifi, no reading material except the magazine. Oh they did try to sell me duty free. AVOID."
Cons: "British airways boarding always seems like a cattle call. Everyone thinks they're priority and it's not well defined who is, so the initial boarding call always just results in everyone rushing the gate."
Cons: "When flying British Airways through Heathrow, one hour is not sufficient time to connect even if both flights are in Terminal 5. I missed my connection, and the next flight was 9 hours later!"

Cons: "The airline misplaced our stroller and one of our cases. We felt abandoned."
Cons: "after 8 hours of delay after delay. Flight was cancelled. No flights available to New Orleans until the next day at 4pm. Had to be at work for payroll responsibliity. People counting on me for their paid. Hope I find another airline to make it home. Slept in airport with on place to go or eat"
Cons: "Flight delayed multiple hours. Sat on Tarmac for 2 hours. Baggage lost for two days. Worst experience flying ever."

Pros: "Flight attendant was very pleasant. Flight was less than an hour so no food or entertainment. Arrived on time."
Cons: "My London to Charlotte flight arrived early, customs and immigration were fast. I was not allowed to change my flight to JAX to an earlier one so I had a 4 hour layover. I had not been issued a boarding pass in LHR and when I got one in Charlotte I was seated in the very back seat next to the WC. I booked this flight in February so was displeased that I had such a bad seat, also that I could have had a seat on the earlier flight. Something about BA and AA partnering makes it difficult and it should be easier."
Pros: "Great service. The flight attendants were cheerful, polite, and helpful The seat was comfortable. There was a large selection of movies, including lots of old classics."
Cons: "The food was awful. I am not fussy eater, and I could not finish the meal"
