When we addressed our concern, the lufthansa employee told us that u cannot have buses for all the passengers in a situation of a delay.... unacceptable.... how is this the client's fault to miss a flight due to a delay?"

We are now at least 24 hours without our luggage (we still don't have it) and cannot take advantage of our very expensive vacation. I must say, we will stop using Lufthansa and all partner airlines. This is completely unacceptable. I have received no communication at all from Lufthansa to explain why our bags were not loaded onto the plane, even though we saw them out the window, on the cart, next to the plane, before door closure. I am wondering if someone at Lufthansa decided it would be fun to ruin our vacation?"

I asked for this to be addressed and the SAA crew ignored the request and in the morning looked surprised to find out that several of the TV monitors had not worked at anytime on the flight. For two days now, his luggage with his nebulizer and asthma medications has gone missing and not ONE person at Lufthansa is willing to help on their end. Since his last leg was with Ethiopian Airlines, Lufthansa is unwilling to help in any fashion or form in helping to track the luggage that flew with them over two flights. They DENY they have any responsibility to help because it's not their "policy." They wouldn't even look into their computers to see where the luggage was last seen. I am so angry that "policy" is more important to Lufthansa than actual human caring about their passengers."

Cons: "I asked for an upgrade as we are on our honeymoon. The ground staff only wanted to get us on the plane and not try in anyway to recognize us. Our seats were very poor quality, you should immediately replace them! I would have rather stood than sit on the flight. The in flight entertainment is so poor. Absolutely disappointing especially with the head sets not working because of poor ports of connection. The food was absolutely tragic. You should fire your catering company. I expect more from your airline and I was disappointed all the way through. I hope you can provide my wife and I better service and an upgrade when we fly back to Washington DC on Flight AF 0054 from CDG to IAD. I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Flying AF does not want me to spend any more money with your airline in the future."

Cons: "There are two types of foot-rests, both are a nuisance for people with long legs. The one popping up from below one's seat is extremely hard to put back in place. The metallic one folding down from under the seat in front cannot be secured back and is always in the way if the passenger needs to stretch his/her legs. This seems to be a new appliance, and I jut wish they would do away with it altogether. More is not necessarily better."

Cons: "Air France’s apathy towards its customers is shocking. Traveling with three children , our flight was delayed by 3hrs resulting us arriving in Paris after 1AM. With the airport shuttle(CDVAL) to our airport hotel closed, they offered no assistance despite of my request. Simply asked us to take a taxi (when all taxi stands are abandoned at 2AM). Beware if traveling with family."

Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"

As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Pros: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."
Cons: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."

Pros: "On an overnight long-haul the thing I hope for most is sleep. The crew rapidly started beverage service after takeoff. Dinner was cleared and lights turned down about 1.5 hours later, including three opportunities for beverages. Lights came back up only about an hour before landing. Despite that no one seemed rushed. Seconds were offered for coffee, passengers had time to use the restroom before de-planing. We likely had almost 4 hours of our approximately 7.5 hour itinerary to attempt sleep."

There's too much room between our necks and heads and the headrest so we end up slumped over even if we recline the seats. Hoping to win the lottery so we can afford first class some day."

Cons: "They ran out of breakfast. Seat configuration was 3-3-3 in economy and not 2-4-2 like on the JAL flight on the way to Japan. The level of professionalism is much higher on JAL in regards to the flight attendants than AA. The boarding process still needs a lot of work to be more organized (take a look at JAL as an example - they treat customers like kings and queens). Also, there was no way to get a seat assignment through the JAL website. That website looks and acts like it’s from the late 90s."

There are no special lines for first class there are absolutely no perks to flying first class out of Philly. The first class flight attendant was rude. They ran out of hot food by the time they got to me so I was served yogurt ... I don't eat yogurt. I waited 40 minutes for my luggage to arrive at baggage claim. The flight to Philadelphia from Tampa was a good experience. They had first class lines. The airport was cleaner. The flight attendant Steve, was kind and professional. I was served a hot lunch. I'm a diabetic and when my blood sugar went low he got me orange juice quickly. I waited maybe 10 minutes for luggage at baggage claim. Hard to get through on 800 number, and 1 day before trip answer was still to do it in Frankfurt. Economy plus was $1000 more/person, and even then no guarantee I could choose a seat far in advance. Then, at computer kiosk in Frankfurt, they had a wrong diagram of the plane,as we ended up on what turned out to be a no-recline row which I would never get. I'm 6'2", 230lbs, and wasn't able to sleep on that flight. Had I been able to reserve a seat behind a bulkhead or in exit row 2mos in advance, I would have been fine."

It was not a service dog in the sense that it was all over the place--on my feet and in the aisle where it tripped a stewardess more than once and she told him it couldn't be in the aisle. So it pushed over to my seat because the guy was just to big to share his legroom. It shredded napkins the man dropped which a trained dog would not do. it bounced his tray table up causing him to drop his two vodkas. I had to have the stewardess tell him to move his arm and body out of my seat so I could stow my tray for landing. When waiting for my ride outside the dog was off lease and ran into the pickup lanes where the man had to chase him down. A true service dog would never behave like that."

The very nice gentleman who was sitting in my seat due this stood and allowed me to have my seat as it was on the isle and I was in boarding group 5 and my seat was all the way at the end by the bathrooms and needed to be able to stretch my legs into the isle. There was absolutely no leg room what so ever. The dude next to me spent the entire trip jabbing me in the side with his elbow so that he could access what little space I did have. I was unable to move my legs because every two seconds the entire plane was trekking to the back to use the bathroom, because while there was a third bathroom on the plane towards the front, for whatever reason nobody seemed to be using it."

Even though we are United Club members and credit card holders, we were charged nearly $400 to bring our luggage home, after paying just $30., yes, thirty, on Air New Zealand to take two extra bags! United's own overseas policy allows two bags, but they charged us anyway on return because we came on an airline that only allows one even though we paid ANZ to bring extra. Extremely illogical."

In light of what just happened where a parent paid $150 for the staff to watch his girl and she ended up getting molested by an older gentlemen, this is unacceptable. She was screaming and being a normal 7 year old, pushing the call button every 2 minutes, slamming her chair back and forth. I do not have kids for a reason. This should not be allowed. I was afraid if I said anything to her about her attitude that she could say I did something to her and My life would be ruined."
