I'll be flying only Emirates from now on"
Cons: "Just the coffee was terrible lol,"
Pros: "Very clean. New fixtures nice screen"

Cons: "Fly Dubai is not good and poor service"
Pros: "I recently booked a flight on Qatar first, to Ko Samui, Thailand. When I got on the plane, I asked the flight attendant to please be careful when he pushed the cart down the aisle because the last time I flew, the flight attendant smashed the cart into my elbow and drew blood. The flight attendant laughed at me, so I told him, calmly, that if it happened again, I would sue the airline. He didn't like that, and so for the next ten minutes he sent three different flight attendants over to ask me crazy questions like, "Do you have anything you would like to tell us?" I have no idea what this was about. Eventually, I was told to get off the plane, which ended up costing me over $1,500 in transportation, hotel, and new flight (on Emirates) fees. It was and still is a nightmare because my vacation has been ruined due to having no money. I'm a master's-degree-holding English teacher of 11 years with no history of ever having been asked to get off of a plane for any reason, and no, I was not drunk because while waiting for my luggage to be returned, had a conversation with three Boston airport police officers who did not arrest me or even understand why I had been kicked off of my flight. Nor did I speak a single profane word to the Qatar flight attendants or security, and of course, I did not use violence or resist when I was told to get off the plane. Unlike Qatar's staff, the Boston police officers were very polite and understanding. Emirates, on the other hand, was a completely different story. They were great. The staff was friendly, and when I was sleeping, they didn't send their staff over to harass me. I have flown on Emirates, Qatar, and Ethihad many times, and I truly don't understand why Qatar's staff have been instructed by their managers that it is okay to lose long-time customers and kick professional teachers off of their planes just because they think I wasn't perfectly sweet and nice to them all the time. I am an American, and in my country we have freedom of expression and speech, as long as that speech does not indicate violent intentions or use profanity or insults. Basically, I felt as though I was in a country with no rights to free speech at all. Presently I am having my lawyer work up legal documents for Qatar to get my money back and to reimburse me for travel and hotel expenses, as well as having to take two extra days off of work to reschedule my flight. I truly believe in the transparency of the travel industry through using comments like those I am making you readers aware of right now, and I assume you will benefit from this rhetorical question/advice: Emirates and Ethihad are sometimes a little more expensive than Qatar on certain flights, but is it really worth it to risk having Qatar take your money and make you miss your flight for no reason? Is it acceptable for an airline operating in the USA to deprive Americans of their right to express concern to the flight attendants on their plane?"
Pros: "Extremely quiet plane since they placed people in front of the half empty plane. Great plane food and internet access, limited to text but still incredibly useful to text people from the air."
Pros: "E v e r y t h i n g ..... I understand now why they are the number ONE airlines in service. We travel enough to see the BIG difference. Thumbs up. Please don't change !!!!"
Pros: "Almost $1400 value items were broken in my two fregile box/bag."
Pros: "It was ok, average."
Cons: "The reclining function of my seat was broken, smaller seats and too high air conditioning."
Pros: "Food was better than Iberia or Delta. Staff greeting friendly."
Cons: "Asked for wine - never came back. No reply. Nothing. Asked for water an hour later - never got water. Asked later in flight, got nasty reply: "Not my job to satisfy coach customers.""
Pros: "The aircraft windows were clean, that's about it!"
Cons: "Everything, horrible food, no amenity bag for long flight. No toothbrush?? Dirty bathrooms from one hour into the flat guy till the end. Bad service all and all disaster not to mention that they cracked my suitcase."
Pros: "They still catch my attention, and while traveling with them I continue to enjoy this airline."
Cons: "As per my Oslo - Dubai review (read there for more details), they cancelled my flight, put me on a flight a day later, and then left me with the bill and the inconvenience. This was the connector out of Dubai and back to Johannesburg. I've flown with them many times and I've picked up one or two small cut backs they've made like no hot towel when you get onboard, only before your arrival, and the meal seems a little more slimmed down (but still pretty tasty), They used have one or two extras which they've now taken away. Not sure why?"
Pros: "Very pleasant crew, good food and an easy layover."
Cons: "No negative feedback."
Cons: "Rude and racist cabin crew!"
Pros: "The crew member was excellent, she went all out to make my journey easy and comfortable.I have sent an email to her superior, please use her as an example.if all attendants can serve and see to passengers like her will be beneficial for emirates"
Pros: "Friendly staff awesome planes wonderful experince"
Cons: "Service was a bit slow. Drinks and food took quite sometime to arrive."
Pros: "It was a smooth flight"
Cons: "It was ok"
Pros: "The food was delicious, and I received the special meal I had requested with no problem. Again, great selection of TV shows and movies."
Cons: "The crew seemed a bit put off, just not very friendly. Maybe something had happened that put them all in a bad mood I'm not sure. Despite this they did help people without complaint, but you could tell they didn't want to be there. Again on this flight the TVs were an old model that was difficult to use, you had to push really hard and finagle your finger to get it to read what you were pressing."
Pros: "i will be recommending Emirates to ally my friends which will ever be able to use them"
Pros: "Granted I was tired after being in transit for 24 hours, but this final of 4 long-haul flights was a real bummer compared to the other flights. Boeing 777 packed to 100% capacity."
Cons: "Really cramped and squished compared to other flights. Toilets at DXB were filthy (I searched around for the cleanest, which was still disgusting), with the cleaning attendant standing around in the restroom doing nothing. Duty Free shops really expensive compared to European airports. Meal on board (breakfast) was really terrible (and that taking into account that airline breakfast is always bad), really the worst I've ever had on a plane, even the Croissant was chewy and very dry. Emirates has become a massive sausage machine people-mover. It has loss its finesse and exceptional service."
Pros: "Great cabin crew"
Cons: "Ground process and lounges were not different from Business Ckass"
Pros: "I will only fly Emirates when available to my destination from now on."
Cons: "The service i received from airfare.com and Kayak."
Pros: "The staff were wonderful and efficient. The toilets were clean and the food was much better than my first flight with emirates although the portions were small on the main meal with only four spinach ravioli offered in a tomato sauce."
Cons: "Passengers do not fit on to their seats and overflow into the space you are occupying which is so tiny as it is. There is not enough room to even reach down to pick something up if you drop it. Overhead lockers are full. I think planes either need to be redesigned with sleeping compartments (such as the second class compartments the trains have) for overnight flights or seats need to be slightly larger to make up for the fact most people are larger today."
Pros: "Crew behavior, boarding, entertainment channels, food, comfort"
Cons: "THe Hostess was not attentive and had to ask for things a few times. No goody basket was given although some pax did get it."
Cons: "Had to run across Dubai airport to make my connection. Nobody at the gate to direct passengers to their short connections under 20 mins. Horrible experience. A person without the ability to run at full clip would not have made the connection. This was an international flight from Los Angeles - Bags did not make the connection either and had to wait two days for them. If you issue tickets with short connection times, it is your responsibility to make sure passengers will have adequate time to make it to their next gate. Or airline should provide some assistance to these passengers. Making them run is unacceptable."
Cons: "Flight from Dubai to Delhi could use better TVs, more modern quality and food as well"
Cons: "Old plane. Uncomfortable seats"
Pros: "Crew was super friendly"
Cons: "They should have created a separate line for doc checks for business class passengers; the line was probably 30 minutes long"
Pros: "Good crew on both trips"
Cons: "No crying children"
Pros: "Good flight, nice staff."
Cons: "Food not the greatest and flight over-crowded."
Cons: "Need power outlets at seats."
Pros: "Quick boarding and early arrival"
Cons: "No real entertainment features. Nothing while in international waters. Not even a map of where we were."
Pros: "The Washington terminals were close in distance for transfering and the gate had each group marked off with lanes, versus waiting for the agent to call your group number."
Cons: "On a 3 hour flight, you should get more than pretzels."
Pros: "The crew was friendly"
Cons: "The seats are small, no real space, things over all looked run down, feels like I’m taking a city bus but even those have more room."
Pros: "The plane, crew and boarding was great, and the food and drinks were quite good. Legroom in standard economy class was passable for a 6'2" person."
Cons: "I booked through the United website as trip from US, have Silver status on United, and Lufthansa's policies of not allowing advance (1-2 mo before flight) seat selection (never on UA nor LH websites) are just horrible. Hard to get through on 800 number, and 1 day before trip answer was still to do it in Frankfurt. Economy plus was $1000 more/person, and even then no guarantee I could choose a seat far in advance. Then, at computer kiosk in Frankfurt, they had a wrong diagram of the plane,as we ended up on what turned out to be a no-recline row which I would never get. I'm 6'2", 230lbs, and wasn't able to sleep on that flight. Had I been able to reserve a seat behind a bulkhead or in exit row 2mos in advance, I would have been fine."
Pros: "Not much to like on United. The boarding was the best part as the staff were somewhat helpful."
Cons: "One nice flight attendant out of the five I interacted with. I'm flying United less and less because the service just sucks."
Pros: "Very helpful with my mother and the wheelchair."
Cons: "Plane unloaded on tarmac. If weather would have bad the experience would have been very uncomfortable."
Pros: "Our flight was changed a total of 6 times. We spent 9 hours waiting because their wasn't a crew. When we tried to board our seats apparently we're given away to someone else. I will never be on another united flight again"
Pros: "The base price is better than Alaska Air. The travel time is acceptable."
Cons: "The base price is for a cramped seat with no checked bag included. Food and entertainment are also extras The human element has been eliminated from the check in process."
Pros: "It was generally quiet and peaceful. I called the stewards at one point and they were very prompt and attentive."
Cons: "Teeny tiny seats on an overnight flight? I had to ask my rowmates to clear the row so I could find my glasses that had fallen under my seat because there simply wasn't room to maneuver even an arm down to manually search for them. This is not to mention that most people sleep on these flights; how is that comfortable for most regular Americans?"
Pros: "Uncomfortable seat cushions like all of our United flights. This was the 1st United crew that was at least friendly!"
Cons: "Uncomfortable seat cushions like all of our United flights. This was the 1st United crew that was at least friendly!"
Pros: "For the amount I paid I'm surprised all we got was mixed nuts! Very disappointing! I hated watching movies on my iPhone, wished you had mounted headrests"
Cons: "Free food or more snack options! Tv consoles in the headrest"
Pros: "My flight attendants on my flight were wonderful and so was the boarding crew at San Fran's airport to Las Vegas were awesome as well. The space I had on my connecting flight to vegas was awesome and the feature it had to charge devices were a nice too."
Cons: "The crew at the front desks and at the boarding area for my flight from Anchorage, AK, to the San Fran airport however, were extremely rude. The rating for the crew is a 2 because although my flight attendants were awesome, but the service given to me and to my fellow flyers by the Customer Service Agents/Reps at the front desk and the training of a newbie at the gate, when boarding at the Anchorage, Alaska, airport was terrible. They were extremely unprofessional and did not seem to care that the tones of their voices, their facial expressions, as well as their body language, showed that they lacked the manners and knowledge of compassion, respect and courtesy. Their rotten attitudes were insufficient at making the customers/guests of the airlines feel comfortable before flying. I did not appreciate being spoken to the way some of the reps did."
Pros: "See above"
Cons: "See above"
Pros: "The attendents were helpful and nice except in the situation I've listed in dislike. The plane left on time and arrived early and we didn't have to wait 20 minutes for a gate to open up."
Cons: "I chose the back window seat right in front of the restrooms. Crewmember even said it was the worst seat in the house. Although I didn't pay to upgrade, thee were available seats up there. The attendant even said she would ttry to move things around once people were seate without anyone asking. She just knew our row was going to be uncomfortable.. I am tall with big shoulders, the gentleman next to me was large. All that I ask is the attendant come back after all is settled and explain that it wasn't possible to move things around. Although, if there were seats available I should have been offered a different seat. I have flown a lot on different airlines. I've flown on a 15 hour flight overseas. This is BY FAR the most uncomfortable I have EVER been."
Cons: "Seats are so narrow and uncomfortable. And we never pushed pack on time for all my flights"
Pros: "The boarding agent and the flight crew were very polite and professional"
Cons: "The flight from Denver to Pittsburgh went very well. Great flight attendants, a smooth flight PLUS, early arrival... Just can't beat that"
Pros: "no delays!"
Pros: "Absolutely nothing"
Cons: "If nothing else United has been consistent in their late departures and arrivals backed by absolute lies about the reason for delays. Staff says one thing then Pilot says something completely counter. Then the lack of any sort of heartfelt appology adds to the insult. Every flight was overbooked by at least 5 people. Total incompetence. Moreover, United has made profit so obviously more important than client comfort. The seats were similar to a straight back Dining room chair except with your knees in your chest. They even took away the seat back pouch as a smal comfort to place items to be replaced with an 8 inch high mesh that fits nothing larger than your cell phone. A 6 hour flight and 1 drink service with 1/2 glass of soda. Pay $7.99 only to find out that video does not work through Canada which was the majority of the flight"
Pros: "I ended up missing my connecting flight because the flight left the airport almost an hr late....once i get to my connecting flight...ive missed it...soooo i had yo wait 4hrs for the next available flight & missed my doctors visit......im sooo pissed....."
Cons: "Missing my connecting flight"
Cons: "Cancelled my Son's flight & he missed his TEST the next day."
Pros: "Boarded on time. That is all."
Cons: "After boarding, we waited on the plane for a long time before they said there was a mechanical problem and we would need to deboard while they fix it. After waiting another four hours they finally canceled the flight. They couldn't get us another flight and said to come back the next day to see if there is another flight out."
Cons: "I was not told that if I voluntarily checked my carry on bag I wouldn't be able to make flight changes later."
Pros: "Plane was on time"
Cons: "I am 5'4" and had no leg room. My knees touched the seat in front of me the whole time. The in seat entertainment was broken on the entire plane for the flight. Simply won't ever fly in a plane so cramped ever again."
Pros: "The one crew member that talked the whole flight was nice"
Cons: "Entertainment was not given freely, as if you didn't just pay 300 per ticket to fly on United. It would cut in and out just to tell you it wanted your credit card. The seats were so full the middle person doesn't even have room to sit up straight without touching shoulders"
Pros: "The flight made it there."
Cons: "the bike fee was deliberately miss leading and was $150!!! Then the desk crew degraded and generally treated everyone terribly, the in flight crew steamed ever worked and exhausted. Worst flight I've ever been on."
Cons: "The snack"
Cons: "Lost my bag"
Pros: "Getting off the airplane was what I liked most. And the coffee and waffle cookie. The attendants in the "you are too much trouble we don't want you cattle section" were shockingly friendly, hard-working and helpful."
Cons: "i can't really describe how much a surly, snarling boarding agent can effect your flying experience in a negative way. We scurried from one flight to the next, and were informed at our gate that this was THE FINAL CALL and that THIS FLIGHT IS FULL...YOUR CARRY-ON WILL NOT FIT! About 8 people got on after we squeezed ourselves into our torture positions. My 6'2" husband folded himself into his "seat" knees crushed up against the metal bars of the seat in front of him. The seat back of the chairs in front of us made me feel claustrophobic. Just awful. And then there are no monitors, screens or anything to take your mind off of your pain for 3 miserable hours."
Pros: "Flight was great."
Cons: "Only negative was that the seat was cramped, not much room."
Pros: "Boarding and crew"
Cons: "Service, look like you have to purchase everything from food to entretaiment."
Cons: "Seats are uncomfortable."
Pros: "Crew was so friendly and helpful"
Cons: "I couldn't watch the movie on your website. It kept buffering. I also had a very limited choice on movies since I didn't have the app. I was very uncomfortable in my seat."
Cons: "Lost my luggage and made us late"
Pros: "Everything you are.."
Cons: "They canceled my flight, lost my luggage made me miss events in my life on my vacation and only comped me 20$ food ticket which is nothing in an airport. And I was stuck in an unfamiliar airport for 10 hours waiting for a new flight through another airline. Oh and dod I mention the bag they lost for a whole day was 50lbs of fresh Alaskan seafood and yes it all was thawed.... I will never fly United airlines again."
Pros: "Needed to get to a hurting friend asap who's husband was dying. When I checked my luggage the delta employee gave me a heartfelt hug & words of encouragement Which meant more to me then anything. That's not in any training manual that's the heart of a great employee...."
Pros: "Once on the aircraft everything was just fine"
Cons: "First of all it was delayed, no big deal but once i checked in I wasn't even assigned a seat. I try to find an agent at the boarding gate and none to be found. They finally arrive 30 min before take off and then assign me a middle seat when I specifically picked my seat weeks earlier and of course was one of the last people to board barely enough time to search for a place for my bag and get to my middle seat in the back of the aircraft. Not even a sorry or any type of compensation for a terrible experience"
Pros: "New plane"
Cons: "The way you bord the plane"
Pros: "On time."
Cons: "United has squeezed its Economy class customers into seats that are tolerable only for the shortest. If I were an inch or so taller, I would have found the space intolerable. As it was, my knees were against the seat in front. For a flight as long as this one (over 5 hours from Anchorage to Denver), it was uncomfortable to say the least. The middle of the plane was nearly empty, because United charges $75 per seat for an upgrade. For the round-trip for two of us, that would have added $300 to our bill. The fact that so few are willing to pay the upgrade fee indicates that the increment is too large."
Pros: "Crew were friendly and helpful."
Cons: "I don't think it's possible to construct a plane more cramped than that, but I'm sure someone will rise to the challenge."
Pros: "Weight restriction on the plane, almost didn't make it out"
Cons: "Late to leave anchorage because of a weight restriction. Flight was only 3/4 full."
Pros: "Good in flight entertainment"
Cons: "seats were a little less shitty but still shitty"
Pros: "Comfort and great staff; smooth landing as well"
Pros: "The evening before our return to US from our vacation in Mexico, my husband lost his passport. The Cancun airport crew, including Paz and Raphael, worked with US consulate (on a day they are typically closed) to get permission for him to board the return flight. Otherwise, we would have had to stay two more days ( until monday) to go to the consulate. THANK YOU, United!"
Pros: "The staff was so nice and helpful with everything I needed!"
Cons: "As a first time flyer, I had nothing to complain about."
