Pros: Exceptional friendly staff. Beautiful room great location we will definitely be returning. Fabulous
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hotel just off the main square and with secure parking (a boon in Ieper). Our room (No 1) was on the ground floor beside an external door - ideal for coming and going without passing through the main hotel, although we tended towards the latter because the car park was accessed through reception. The room was warm, comfortable and spacious ... and the shower room was excellent. Breakfast was served in a very large room which doubled as the lounge by day and the lounge/bar from 4pm. Breakfast was truly excellent; the food was displayed beautifully, and was absolutely fresh. Staff at reception and in breakfast were first class - willing, helpful, friendly and courteous. Reception had a good range of free tourist leaflets, as well as publications and souvenirs for sale.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very clean throughout and the staff are helpful, friendly and go about their duties with a smile on their face. The hotel is a very short walk indeed to the main square. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, I would stay again if I returned to Ypres and I would also recommend this hotel to others.
Cons: They have a lounge bar which is a nice cosy place to drink and chat, however it closes at 11pm. This is not a problem but you also had to vacate the bar at this time. There was nowhere else to sit and chat amongst our group of 8 people. It would be nice if the bar area was open to sit, chat or even a place to sit and relax. Most hotels have a lounge area and it would go well if the bar area was open as a lounge even when the bar is shut. Parking was 11 euro a night. Although this may be reasonable in comparison with other places in the area, it is worth remembering that if you are staying for a week, this would put an extra 77 euros on your bill, which kind of takes the edge off what is overall a great place.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect, hotel spotless and staff very helpful.
Cons: N/A
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in town centre. friendly and informative staff, Immaculately presented throughout. Rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable. Pros: The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast and very good coffee.
Cons: The room (including a very small bathroom) was small. The traffic outside our window was very noisy -due to the street being cobblestone. Very dark hall and stairway- couldn’t find a light switch when we arrived back to our room in the evening

Pros: The room was perfect & the hot tub / spa bath was perfect for the stay ,
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous staff. Free parking. Ideally situated for walking to the centre of Ypres.
Cons: The rating we have given is to reflect that, for us, the one problem with this hotel is the lack of soundproofing. The room door to the corridor keeps no sound out and the rooms themselves did not appear soundproofed. When someone talking or coughing during the night can be heard and doors slamming are very audible then, for us, there is a big problem as we lacked sleep. Everything else was spot on but sadly we would not return to a hotel where we can not get sleep.

Pros: Location 10 minutes walk to the centre and 15 minutes to the Menin Gate. Great verity for breakfast and well stocked.
Cons: There is nothing that comes to mind just a great place to stay.

Pros: A comfortable beautifully presented hotel.
Cons: Nothing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Generally, I am a big fan of the hotel and the staff team. It is my first choice hotel in Ypres every time. I like location, and the general comfort of the hotel. Great bar ambiance. I was not very well while I was there, and the staff were very kind and helpful.
Cons: 1. Prestige room, but he decor in the room is a bit gloomy - orange, brown etc. Maybe it works in the summer but it makes the room very dark in the winter. 2. Extractor fans in the bathroom would be good. 3. The radiators in the room were not working and required an engineer visit. 4. I think you are the best hotel in Ypres (mostly because of the staff team) but I think the price is in danger of being a bit too high? I have stayed with you for many years but for the first time have started to think you are getting too expensive? I work in the hotel industry and I appreciate the difficulty of fixing prices which all customers perceive as value for money.

Pros: Very close to all amenities and the square. About 300 yards to the Menai gate and the room was spacious and modern. Great view of the square.
Cons: Hotel said it had parking , it was very busy whilst we were there and the parking is on the main road or the square . All of which were completely jam packed , so it was a case of keep driving round until you got a space .
8,0 Excellent
Pros: What a wonderful spot to stay, we had an amazing view from the room, the staff were incredibly friendly and wanted to do anything necessary to make sure we had a good stay. We ate in the restaurant and it was fantastic, perfectly cooked duck breast and great attention to detail, this coming from a self-confessed foodie!

Pros: The Hotel is in a good location Ypres, with the Grote area a two minute walk and teh Menin Gate a 3min walk. Parking is on site and the staff can direct you to alternative parking that is cheaper/free. Good selection of food at breakfast time.
Cons: Parking could be cheaper.

Pros: Location is very good staff are great
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The town centre location is spot on for sightseeing in Ieper - 5 minutes walk from both the Menin Gate and the "In Flanders Fields Museum". Parking was readily available just outside the hotel, so I did not need to use the underground car park. Breakfast was excellent quality with immense choice, but I'm not sure it was worth Euro18 per person - maybe a smaller choice and slightly less expensive? The bedroom was comfortable, but a little tired, although renovations are in progress at the hotel and the room I was in has yet to be renovated.
Cons: I was not aware beforehand of the renovations currently being undertaken at the hotel, which meant having to leave the reception and walking around the outside of the hotel to get access to the bedrooms through a service entrance. Not a great problem if the weather's dry, but it wasn't for all of our stay. I was told that the renovations are scheduled to continue until April 2020. To be clear, it was slightly inconvenient, but didn't spoil the stay.

Pros: clean, modern room, lovely bathroom and lovely hotel over all!
Cons: it was under refurb but it didnt affect our stay at all!

Pros: Very good staff and friendly atomosphere
7,5 Good
Cons: We didnt realise about all the work being done and that we would have to use a side door without going to reception and who wants to walk in and out in this weather .wish we had known then we would have cancelled and booked some where else

Pros: We’ve stayed in this hotel three times now. Lovely location and staff. Very clean and comfortable. Nice location to explore the area and as a base.
Cons: There is nothing negative to say about the hotel
7,0 Good
Pros: Family room was good size and price for 2 adults, a 4 yr old and 1 yr old. The children loved the play area in the hotel and staff were all really friendly. Super central location.
Cons: Hotel under renovation currently (Dec 2019) so you can’t access bedrooms through main hotel which was difficult with young children going in and out to breakfast. Parking fairly pricey if you go for convenience of underground parking (€20/day)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very clean room as expected with a Novotel hotel. Staff were very friendly and gave us a parking permit to cover for the evening and also until checkout. Parked just literally around the corner, under a church spire. Very easy to wander into the main square from the location. Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t pass comment. Would stay again if we revisit Ypres.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff, good location.
Cons: Orange juice watery. Decoration a little tired.
7,0 Good
Pros: The staff were very pleasant, good selection of continental breakfast and hotel was in a great location for Menin Gate and surrounding museums and cemeteries.
Cons: The hotel was noisy through the night and 1st thing in the morning we arent sure what was causing it couldve been people moving around in surrounding accommodation or the takeaway next door. One of the bedside shelves and the plug was hanging off the wall but apart from that room was pleasant.
6,0 Good
Pros: Excellent location to explore Ypres and visit the Menin Gate. Quiet although really close to the main square. There was plenty of breakfast.
Cons: The decor was dull and basic and the curtains were falling down.
6,0 Good
Pros: Good breakfast and amazing location in the centre of the city. It's basically located on the main square so all attractions are on the walking distance. A lot of parking space (paid but cheap) is available on the main square, so no problem with that.
Cons: The hotel would definitely benefit from some restoration and maintenance -- the room was quite outdated and there was no radiator, but as we were staying during Christmas holidays it was getting quite cold at night.
4,2 Okay
Pros: I didn’t like anything about the hotel! Yhere was no hot water!! On the New Year’s Eve and the first day of the New Year! My wife and I we couldn’t take a shower until we got home. The Matrasses were awful! What else do you want me to say? Please do not advertise hotels like this one anymore. It was simply money thrown away!
Cons: See here aboe!
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Great location in the city but thats all it has to offer.
Cons: The facilities were poor and in need of some desperate repair. we booked a double but got a twin instead unfortunatly the reception was unmanned, at 17.30, so this could not be changed. The room was in a poor state and was clearly in desperate need of a good clean and some essential repair. Holes left in the wall, shower head rail was hanging by a single thread, not clean and the bathroom smelled dirty and like blocked drains. 1 of the liftys was broken, later repaired, but this was not particularly helpfull with bags. The feel of the hotel was more that of a cheap hostel than a hotel. Breakfast was allegedly served between 8 and 10 but at 8.10 there was not breakfast in sight and we unfortunatly had to leave without.
6,0 Good
Pros: 1st night it was nice and warm but the last few nights they didnt have heat. mold inside the batroom and mold inside the small fridge our room. I cleaned it myself.
Cons: The Mold inside the bathroom shower and the fridge
