Breakfast was pretty good and they offered dinner Monday-Wednesday.
Mattress was a little too firm. Bacon wasn't crisp enough.
The location is great and convenient. Close to 2nd Street restaurant which was amazing. Rooms are large and beds are comfortable.
I booked the hotel because it had a hot tub and the hot tub was under construction/ out of order. The pool needed to be cleaned as well.
Staff was so friendly. From the front desk, to the maintenance guys, and housekeeping. They’re who made our stay great. The hotel is nice. We had a family room for 6 and it was roomy enough. Only thing was water pressure in the shower. Not a big deal. The hot tub was closed off because it’s getting fixed. Breakfast is just like any other hotel. It’s close to restaurants and shopping. We’d definitely stay there again if we ever pass through Newport News in the future.
Online, the city given was Newport News, so I gaged it to be a little closer to Hampton. However, when put in the GPS, it said Yorktown. Still okay, but just through me off a bit for planning purposes.
I was grossed out by this property
It was filthy...their cleaning cart was a grocery shopping cart with just a windex bottle...sheets were stained and had hair in the bed...it smelled awful
