Pros: Very nice and helpfull manager. Other employees are very week in English. The location is great and the rooms are comfortable. I recommend this great value hotel.

Cons: The lobby is not comfortable and not very clean. The rooms could be refreshed.

Pros: The staff were extremely helpful - I was having issues with Wechat and Neil spent a good 20 mins trying to resolve it, when he was unable to he offered us his phone number and told us to call if we ever needed help.

Cons: Breakfast was very disappointing - only had it once but the hot food was cold, nothing was being topped up regularly, not a great variety.

Pros: Really good staff and facilities. Free breakfast buffet and free mini bar was amazing. I would 100 percent stay here again if I go back to Xi'an.

Cons: Old and very tired building. Rooms were tiny, dark, and dingy with no views. Service was disappointing. Put us on a smoking floor even though we requested otherwise when booking, people smoking in their rooms and in the hallway. air conditioning didn’t work, only the fan, pool was tiny and had about 40 peoples in it which made it very full and unappealing. We asked for a second key card but they said they couldn’t provide as they were running low on key cards, really?! Concierge was very young, when we asked him to call us a taxi, he said he’d do it from his phone which meant he’d be charged via his phone, implying we’d have to pay him. We asked why he couldn’t call a taxi from the hotel phone, he couldn’t explain and called the manager (btw, we speak Mandarin, albeit a bit broken, but no issues in Shanghai or Beijing). The manager then called us the taxi. Granted it was golden week here, and the staff were perhaps overwhelmed, but disappointing.

Pros: Room was huge, clean and comfortable. Great value for money.

Cons: We booked the hotel specifically because it had a swimming pool. However, the swimming pool was closed due to maintenance.

Pros: The staff at check-in was most helpful, in particular Willin. He carefully listened and took the effort to address my concerns. While the hotel is located some distance away from the key tourist attractions, there is a subway station right at the front of the hotel, which makes all the key attractions easily accessible.

Cons: Please be aware that there are two groups of rooms. Some rooms are refurbished and very nice while some others are not and may feel a little dated.

Pros: The reception staff were very courteous and willing to assist in any way possible. The hotel is right next to a main metro stop so I was able to get to many of the historic spots such as the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda real easily even in the snow. Nice and comfortable... Not impeccably clean but sufficient.

Cons: Room service was a bare minimum and the chef wasn't always there so I couldn't order certain items all the time. The bus shuttle that the hotel provided to the airport after checkout had the rudest bus driver I ever ran across... And I've been around many rude ones before.

Cons: Breakfast included however not a good one, rather disappointing actually. Very smoky hallways despite non smoking rooms. Rooms were clean though no smoke there thank goodness

Pros: This is a fantastic hotel. Super clean, super comfortable. They also have a great laundry area with an adequate number of machines so that you can be sure of a place to wash and dry your clothes. But really, it is the staff that really takes top honors. They are always helpful. If you need to get a taxi they will call it for you. Everyone and everything at the hotel is very reliable.

Cons: There is absolutely nothing bad about the hotel.

Cons: Breakfast is truly horrible. I have been coming here for years, and it seems to have gotten worse. I love Chinese food everywhere else, but the quality and choice at this hotel's breakfast are really really BAD. Also, the cleaning staff are great except for all the noise they make in the hallways in the morning. Some people need their sleep!

Pros: I like the staffs who are friendly. The floor is quiet. I had good sleep.

Pros: The hotel was in a very good location near many restaurants, shops, and recreational areas. Rooms were truly comfortable, spacious and very clean; the wifi worked pretty well both in the room and in the lobby. It was like living in a cozy apartment in Xi'An,

Cons: I would recommend the staff to improve a little bit their English as in some circumstances it was difficult to communicate; luckily the instant translator app helped me a lot :)

Pros: Very convenient location right next to City Wall and Yongningmen Metro station. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will recommend this hotel to friends visiting Xian.

Cons: the floor carpet, its seems too old and dusty. if step, the foot is dirty.

Cons: shower system a bit hard to control the temperature, there was some construction activity next to the hotel that causes some banging noise in the morning. I heard the public toilet (by the lobby) was spooky.

Pros: The location is fantastic, being right in the middle of Xi'an. I was very happy with my room... a spacious feeling with super comfortable bed and pillows.

Cons: The breakfast was okay... but not great. There wasn't much English spoken so it was hard to get information/advice about where to go (or to get a towel brought to my room. I tried 3 times and then ended up going down with a bath mat to act out what I needed!). The showerhead was leaking over the edges so it was more like a bucket being poured than the 'rain water' as advertised - I didn't really mind but some people might.
