Great location across from the White House. Old world charm.
Bathroom too small. Typical of “old” style - nowhere to put personal toiletries or hang damp towels. Poor lighting for a woman applying makeup. Poor lighting in bedroom.
The bed was very comfortable. The service was impeccable and the meals in the Lafayette room were flawless. The staff were very pleasant and professional.
As is typical with a booking site, the room didn’t have any view at all. But if that’s the worst I have to endure to stay in a property like this, I can deal with it.
Great location, elegant setting, nice space.
The check out took a while, that’s the only thing that really bothered us.
A very beautiful hotel, with great history and a perfect location. Very friendly and kind staff. Amazing rooms and the best and most comfortable beds ever. Everything is perfect in this hotel.
Lovely hotel with very thoughtful details in the rooms. Great dining room and breakfast. Super close to all the Washington sights! Plenty of great eating options nearby.
If you were looking for a workout, find another gym nearby or go for a run in the nearby park. The equipment is great, but it is a tiny, windowless room.
