Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently highlight the hotel's excellent location, close to attractions, public transport, and in a safe area. Some guests appreciated the friendliness of certain staff members and found the hotel to be clean and reasonably priced. However, many reviews mention that the building and facilities are old and in need of renovation, with noisy air conditioning, uncomfortable or inconsistent bed quality, and cleanliness issues in some rooms. The elevator is frequently described as outdated and uncomfortable, and several guests report poor service or unhelpful reception staff. Overall, while the location is a major plus, the hotel would benefit from improved maintenance and service.

The hotel is over a bar, which we didn’t realize at the time of booking. Lots of people at the entrance and it was still noisy on the top floor, I can’t imagine what the rooms on the main floor were like. Great location near a Trader Joe’s and across the street fro...

Pros (+) DuPont Circle Location. Tavern on premises. Good in room a/c. Professional at check in.
Cons (-) Somewhat of a rundown place but adequate. small rooms. Way overpriced ($200) the night I was forced to stay here. Really a $100 hotel and that's due to local. 20-somethings only.
