Pros: The staff and the location. It was an easy walk about the campus, a short walk to restaurants and all the history. Wow!

Pros: The price and the staff was nice, when we checked out I let the front desk person know about the mold and he made a note, and hopefully they will get it fixed for the next guest
Cons: The room smelled like mold, the bathtub looked like it had a mat on the bottom that molded and that they just removed it and didn't clean the tub, mold spots on the ceiling, if we were staying more than one night we would have ask for a different room, we bought bleach to pour in tub to kill the smell..

Cons: It’s located near the highway gas station nearby, ideal for traveling people.

Pros: Great room- spacious and clean
Cons: The toilet made noise all night, loud traffic kept me awake
9,2 Excellent
Pros: See above
Cons: Check in fast since I booked with booking.com. Beds are very comfortable. Room did have a slight musty smell, contribute this to possible "old smoking" floor or room. No worries I always carry a can or air freshener just for this purpose. Nice size bathroom. Walls could use some cosmetic update and patching where door has been hitting. Breakfast was fantastic. Overall an excellent stay and would commend.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was amazing! I got to the hotel late was greeted with a smile, checked in quickly. My room was more than I imagined. Breakfast was nice and the area was clean.
6,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The breakfast area was messy. Not stocked.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great easy to get to location, and we were stopping for the night to take a break from driving. The front desk staff was super friendly, and made us feel welcome. Room was spacious and clean, nothing was out of place or dirty.
Cons: Everything was great!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean.
Cons: My room was not ready at the desire time. The next day they cleaned my room and it took them 3 hours to make up my bed. Coffee was not good but the rest of the breakfast was.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: Pillows were not as comfy
6,7 Good
Pros: Room was clean. Appreciated having a fridge, micro, extra pillows, and a blanket in the room. AC worked great!
Cons: The mattress was super uncomfortable. There was a large sunken area, which made the mattress unpleasant. The shower head was also too high. Someone had turned the shower head towards the wall, so I had to stand on side of tub to re-position shower head.
7,5 Good
Pros: Facility was very good, room was cool-AC was excellent, for me the location was excellent
Cons: I booked thru booking.com. When I went to modify my reservation there was a COMPLETE disconnect between the facility and booking.com. The managerial staff was almost adversarial toward my request and the only help from them I received was a phone number. I was on hold with booking.com for 20 minutes. After speaking with them my request was fulfilled in spite of the seemingly total disconnect between the hotel and booking.com. If booking.com is going to facilitate reservations, the hotel should be an equal partner. The hotel should not be totally isolated from the reservation modification process. There should be a more transparent process to the customer.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The place was nice and quiet. The Wi-Fi was great. They allowed late checkout.
Cons: I didn’t like the fact that you were charged $60 extra dollars for something. You got it back at the end. It was a little unexpected.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location, access and parking.
Cons: Continental breakfast, to save, had no fruit, no protein like bacon, sausage or eggs and a small selection of juices and cereal. Certainly the smallest availability of food stuff in a hotel with an included breakfast. But, that explains the low costs.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Caring receptionist Helpful staff
7,5 Good
Pros: The location was perfect. It was very convenient.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better. Only carbs were served. Didn’t have any fruit (other than bananas) and no protein (no eggs, turkey sausage etc).

7,9 Good
Cons: Pool was not open and pricing had been raised due to it being a football weekend which also required a two night minimum stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, cleanliness, staff...
Cons: Safe in the room....
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Water cold in shower.
6,7 Good
Pros: Facilities were clean.
Cons: The pool was not in service and this was why I booked this hotel.
6,7 Good
Cons: Paying for breakfast is crazy. I will NEVER stay @ another one of your facilities that charges for breakfast, that’s ridiculous after you have paid an arm & a leg for the room.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: No pool and phoned and asked if there was a pool and was told there was. I was given the roomkey card to someone else’s room and had the unfortunate experience of walking in with my family on another woman in bed. It took over 30minutes to get another room. No toilet paper in the room. Bathroom floors were sticky and dirty.
4,6 Okay
Pros: The only really good thing about this property was the location.
Cons: We had a maintenance guy barge into our room, granted he apologized but the fact that it happened was unacceptable. We were next to the room where the cleaning staff got their supplies and they were constantly talking loudly and opening and shutting the door to get things which was disturbing when you want to sleep in. We also had a do not disturb sign hanging on the door, yet room service still decided to bang on the door and yell “room service” u till someone woke up to open the door. The all you can eat breakfast ran out of food and people had to wait for the food to come out, sometimes 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and apologetic but for the outrageous price paid for a Hilton, unacceptable!
4,6 Okay
Cons: No complementary breakfast is ridiculous. Other hotels such as Hampton Inn, etc. all provide this service.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff. So accommodating!
5,0 Okay
Cons: I didn't like that the staff put me on the end of the hall, where construction workers were working. The construction started before 8 a.m. They was making so much loud noise they woke my babies up so we had to leave early. We did not enjoy the full stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean neat
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good.

7,9 Good
Cons: The water in the shower did not stay hot.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Kudos to your night manager who had to deal with the fire alarm going off at about 2:30 a.m. which was determined to be a malfunction but then would not reset initially. He stayed cool under pressure.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was exactly as represented, staff was courteous and professional, room and hotel were clean and comfortable. Great value for the money!
Cons: The location of the hotel is not good. We were unable to find a local restaurant/fast food, that was clean enough for us to consider eating at. We're not picky, would have been happy with fast food, but the neighborhood was disappointing. We finally settled on take-out at a Subway, simply because we could watch them prepare our food. Perhaps it would benefit the hotel manager to visit local restaurants and select nearby venues for their guests to consider, as well as those to avoid.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This property is very nice. It is conveniently located with quick access to many local amenities. The staff was very polite, friendly, and open to conversation; they had no issues answering any questions about the local area. I would definitely stay here on return visits.
Cons: In the suite it was very difficult to get into and out of the jet tub to shower. There are no steps and the setting is almost level with the lip of the tub (about 1.5 to 2 feet in height) and is about 1 to 1.5 feet in length before you reach the lip of tub which makes you have to step high and stand on the setting before you actually can get into the tub.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super friendly, really everywhere we went we were treated fantastic. Made for a great trip, will be back as soon as possible.
Cons: Mattresses were a little firm for my taste but overall was very comfy. Need to move toilet paper dispenser to easier position to reach
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and the place was very nice and clean! Will stay here again!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was awesome. Loved the strawberry waffles.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and the breakfast was really amazing!
Cons: Parking lot wasn't large enough to accommodate all of the guests. There were a couple of trucks with trailers parked sideways and it took up a lot of parking.
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice room, great breakfast, friendly staff
Cons: It sits near a busy road and its difficult to turn left from the location
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the choices, displayed fir good presentation!
Cons: No complaints!

Cons: They raised from 144.00 to 166.00 on my verification and this was on the second night. I let go then on the bill it was 184.00. There is no reason except greed. I would think the second night would even be cheaper. I have been staying here for 19 year. 2 months ago it was 129.. a night. I am done. Hilton is next door and is always the same rate. Good bye and I will never us expedia again.

Pros: I left a wireless mouse in the room. I called later that evening and they told me they found it. They kept it at the front desk for two weeks until I came back to get it. When I got there and asked, the lady at the counter knew exactly what I was talking about and knew exactly where it was. I appreciate that.
Cons: I had a room directly in front of a wall I think. It was inward toward the pool and on a corner. Not a big deal just felt very secluded. No problems or negative issues with the room itself

In a great location, close to many places to eat, shop, the university. Felt safe. Great stay and will stay again.
Cons: While having pet friendly rooms is amazing, I wasn't aware I would be placed next door to one. When their dogs started barking at 11 p.m. at night and all the next morning, it was very annoying and it woke me up a few times. Won't stop me from staying again, but will request a room away from pets if possible.

Pros: Room was nice, had been upgraded, staff all super friendly
Cons: Pool was very dingy, couldn’t see the bottom so we didn’t get in. Tv didn’t work too well, kept losing connection so it was all fuzzy.
4,2 Okay
Pros: There were only 2 things I liked about this location. One being the location, which sits you right in the middle of the city. You have quick access to any where in the city and your not far from main events. The only other good thing about this place I liked was the size of the room. I got the Jr. Suite, so of course the room going be bigger than the rest, but I wasn't expecting the size. Good size room for a small family.
Cons: Other then the location and the size of the room; this was a HORRIBLE place to stay in. I will definitely be spending my money and time some place else when visiting Tuscaloosa. Housekeeping comes and knocks as hard as they can on your door at 9-10:00am, screaming house keeping. They don't come in the room and restock your towels or change your sheets. I was there for 8 nights and had to call the front desk and order sheets. Then when the sheets finally came the lady looked at me with an attitude asking "Did you want me to put the sheets on the bed?" Yes! It's apart of your job. At night the staff disappear from the front desk for 10-20 mins at times. The walls are extremely thin, we heard the couple arguing next door to us and we had the television on. They closed for breakfast early or just flat out refused to restock breakfast. In my room next to the bed on the floor was some stinky gunk. I had to jump out of bed to keep from stepping in it most morning, with 1 morning almost breaking my neck. Let's be honest...this hotel chain is to big to not be able to afford carpet cleaning for there rooms when guest leave. They charged my card 3x on a holiday weekend and when I called to speak with the general manager of the property, she was the worst of it all, becoming defensive when giving her my complaints. The stay here was unacceptable and I promise myself, my friends, and my family will NEVER STAY at this location again, it's too many other hotel in that area that would appreciate the business and give better customer service.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was better than expected for being included. The beds were super comfortable after along drive and then the game. Most all of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: The woman at the front desk was difficult from the start. She called me to check on the debit card I had booked with. I told her that my debit card had been updated on the booking site and that the reservation was under my husband’s name. I explained that he would be paying cash for the room and we had the $50 security deposit on the card in file. The gentleman the night before said this was how we should do things if paying in cash. The woman insisted on taking down my card information even though it was correct on the booking site and I thought everything was fine. Wrong. When my exhausted husband and son went to check in, there she was telling them that they had to have either all the money on the card OR all the money in cash. We’re from Florida so this was causing them issues they shouldn’t have had to deal with. After all of that, then the next morning the SAME woman gave my husband a hard time about getting his deposit back. Then she wondered why he was so irritated with her! Both my husband and son liked the hotel and said all the other staff was great!
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: Did not stay under that reservation information that I was provided with. Upon arrival I was told that I did not have reservations and was made to pay and make new reservations at the desk!!!!!! She stated she looked in her computer and did not see (none at all) my reservations confirmation number at all. Now you all are emailing me saying I did. I spoke with the manager she stated the young lady at the desk was new and did not know what she was doing. That to me is not acceptable bc now you all still expect me to pay again when I had to pay that Night at the hotel their Rates for 3 Nights and it actually was costed more money a night.
Cons: It would have been okay if my reservations that I showed and had confimation for would have been in there computer or if they had trained their staff to look up reservations.
