Breakfast was served in classy restaurang - high class look, but content is not in line with atmosphere- buffet type items served in expencive porslean. Buffet breakfast was available in separate restaurang and seem like from 2 start hotel offering, sorry.
Spacious Room. Quality of amenities. Diversity of choice for breakfast( Western, Japanese and buffet). CLose to Sibuya subway station.(5minutes by walk). Clean and comfortable.
excellent location. staff is nice and very helpful.
Renovation a bit old now. Hope to redecorate in future.
Nice and very friendly staff at reception. (C.Lee was very attentive and helpful.) Clean room and comfortable beds. Wonderful amenities (l'occitane). We were on the 20th floor and the security was great!
Premier lounge(20th floor) was not worth the price at all. Unlike other hotel lounges(Hilton Tokyo/Hilton Odaiba) that I have been to in the past, there was no food readily accessible on display. It was a bit ridiculous because we had to look at a menu and call the staff to order even something as small as a bowl of "mixed nuts"! No fruits or fingerfood, sandwiches on display. You must order from a menu which was quite limiting and time-consuming. Some of the staff couldn't speak English too well so ordering was not easy. I went to the lounge at noon to get some coffee but the staff said that coffee can only be ordered during Teatime hours(2:00~)and Cocktail hours(5:30~). I was not happy to hear that. No wonder there was hardly anyone using the lounge...... Breakfast was a bit disappointing. We tried the Buffet style breakfast, but the quality of the food was not too impressive. We were able to use our breakfast coupon for Lunch option at Lounge 21(on the 21st floor). It was much better! Shuttlebus to Haneda airport was available but we couldn't use it on the last day because the shuttlebustime was not offered to match our departure time.(Travelers must check the time schedule ahead of time.) I think the bus was available only 3~4 times per day. Shuttle bus to Narita was available many times compared to Haneda. We had heavy luggage so going to the trainstation and getting the monorail was a bit inconvenient. I took the taxi directly to the Hamamachutcho train station and then I took the monorail. (I wanted to avoid dragging my luggage to take the JR during rush hourtime in summer....) Generally a pleasant stay at Daiichi hotel but I wish I had known more about the lounge and airportshuttle schedule.
Location and friendly staff.
