Pros: Location is perfect. Just steps from your room to the beach. Great common room with 2 full BBQs outside to use and lots of seating. Lots of surf lockers and outdoor shower. Big hangers for your wet suits outside your front door and on your patio too.

Pros: My wife and I have stayed here multiple times, and will continue to stay here in the future when we visit Tofino. You get all the convenience and comfort of living in an apartment (including plenty of kitchen supplies, a washer and dryer, and some nice furniture), and you are right next to beautiful Cox Bay! All that for the cost of a regular hotel room somewhere else in the Tofino area. What's not to like? The facilities are also very clean

Pros: The bathrooms bed sand overall room was cute and cozy
Cons: We booked this specifically to have a hot tub at the end of the day and the hot tub jets weren’t working and the tub was quite dirty. The cleaning staff did not come to our room and we were left short of clean towels , coffee and hot chocolate , we had all the towels in the tub so had to pick wet ones out to re use.

Cons: There is really nothing that we don't like about this property. If I really wanted to nit-pick, I suppose it would be nice to be closer to some restaurants, since there is nothing in the area aside from the restaurant in the hotel next door (which is also great, by the way). You'll need to have a car if you are staying here, but then again, you probably drove your car to get to Tofino anyway, so it's really a non-issue.

You can walk along the beach to a neighbouring property and visit Lil' Ronnie's Beachside BBQ, and I highly recommend it for the brisket. Staff were very friendly. The hotel is dog friendly so lots of other guests with dogs made it feel way more relaxing than some stuffy fancy place on the beach. Wifi was decent enough and didn't drop out for us. Would definitely stay again.

Cons: Being dog friendly is nice, but keep in mind it's a humid location that gets quite cool at night which means it will smell like a dog friendly room. It's not overwhelming and if you're traveling with your dogs you're probably used to it already. That said, since it's on the beach with all the sand as well, I would think an all tile floor would be better than carpet both for sand and retaining less odour. The hotel and rooms didn't scream best Western since they were overall very nice, but the bathrooms certainly did. Fairly dated and cramped but they did the job and there was lots of hot water.
