Pros: The view over the city
Cons: Very nice place to go and relax. Enjoy the beautiful view
8,0 Excellent
Pros: - The rooms that have a view do have a wonderful view - The swimming pool is heated - although it's franckly not too clean... - The breakfast is a la carte, lacks of a few options, but is fine - The service is average, but not bad - The location is truly beautiful - even though it might not be too convenient for the people who're afraid of driving in Mexico because the street is narrow to get there AND very very steep - The hotel is old but very very well kept. We saw maintenance doing the paints, polish etc. in a number of room, and it's nice to see how well maintained it is and not run down at all.
Cons: - The pool should be cleaner - The bathroom are old - though they are clean
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The view
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are very nice, even the one looking to the courtyard. The view from the pool is amazing!
Cons: pool had much chlorine, and food in the restaurant just average. Be aware that although there is a beautiful cablecar heading to the city, it will let you far from el zócalo. If going for dinner in the city I will advise to take a beetle-taxi.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything. Great location, great place. I I will recommend to all my friends in Europe. I will come back one day. Stay the way you are. Don’t make too many changes...
Cons: Everything was fine, no complaints at all
8,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel couldn't have had a more perfect location. You are in the middle of everything! The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and reasonable priced! This will be our next stop the next time we are in Taxco again!
Cons: The bell desk misplaced my sister's jackets. They told her they had left them in someone else's room. Then when we told them they had the wrong room number, they changed their story and said they never saw the jackets. My sister will be calling the hotel manager to see if they were located. Also, we had 3 rooms and the bell desk attendant took off with our luggage without waiting for us to get our third room so he separated our group and we didn't know where the other room was going to be located. I am happy to say though that everything else was great!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: First room was small ... We ask for a bigger one... No problems . Very clean, right in the centro and we loved our stay there
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was much fancier than we expected and offered several services that we did not need or use. It did however, provide a washer and drier that you bought tokens for which was a bonus. The bathroom was small but there was lots of hot water. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Our hotel was right beside the pool, which we did not use, and was a bit noisy until 2000hr. On Friday night an extremely loud, and I assume alcohol fueled party was held on the terrace to the swimming pool. We complained to the desk at 0100hr and 0300hr but nothing much happened. The next day we spoke to the manager who took our comments very seriously. She apologized and said there would be no repeat, and there was not.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right in the main square and easy walking distance to everything, including the bus station, silver market, mine tour, restaurants, etc. My room was a decent size and very clean. It was also shockingly quiet considering its location right in the city! Staff was friendly and the restaurant food was fabulous (I had a great breakfast and wish I had eaten there for dinner, too!).
Cons: The hotel is a giant maze and I got lost coming back from the pool. Oops!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very pretty views of entire town of Taxco from everywhere. In the very center of town right on the Zocalo. Charming.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room, new bathroom, very reasonable price
Cons: Need to fix the handle on the toilet. In a central neighborhood so not ideal for light sleepers
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The view and location is excellent.
Cons: Too many stairs but there's nothing they can do about that.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
Cons: N/a
6,0 Good
Pros: The location can't be beat - right on the main park in Taxco. The views from the property are excellent. Easy to book tours with the front desk. Drinkable water in-room. Staff was friendly and porters were very efficient.
Cons: Rooms are TINY with mediocre beds and are not stocked well - no coffee maker, no handtowels even! We had to switch rooms because the noise outside of our first room was heavy due to being near the restaurant - we could hear every word of the conversations going on. The hot tub is usually something my husband goes for right away but it wasn't actually hot enough to actually use. Installations aren't bad, but we expected better from the pictures and reviews. What we really didn't like about this place is how we were nickel and dimed for everything - including things we were led to believe were included. The hotel itself was fine, it's just for the price one expects more (we paid less at another property for a much better experience - we moved to Agua Escondida after the first night though because the first place we stayed fully booked for the rest of our stay). We would love to return to Taxco but would not book this hotel again unless we were desperate.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, especially Ernesto, who was very helpful and kind.
Cons: Lots of ups and downs for older person.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Location was good, beds comfortable.
Cons: There is no “quiet time here”. You won’t sleep after 7:30 am. Constant banging from the “silver shop” in the area and loud terrible music from the restaurant from approximately 7:30 am onwards. There is no relief from the music. It echoes and floats down from the terrace restaurant. You cannot hang out at the nice pool area either as the music just envelopes you. Ear plugs do not drown it out. The volume goes up throughout the day. Yes, have asked them to turn it down. No luck. Had breakfast at the restaurant. They could not get our order correct. Food not good. Not sure why this is Taxco's number 1 restaurant. Had dinner here, same problem. Eat somewhere else. Wifi does not work in the rooms. Wifi works sporadically at the pool. The rooms are spacious, but even then, the workers are power washing the pool deck, right outside the room every morning at 7:30 am. This is the noisiest place we have ever stayed in. Would love to cut the music, power washing and then perhaps, there would be peace of mind. Probably not. Every day our room key card did not work. We had to go to reception to have them rekeyed.
Can’t wait to get out of here. Sorry, nothing good to say.

Pros: For some reason I really liked this hotel, it just felt really comfy. It has perfect location for visiting Taxco, not exactly in zocolo, but a couple of minutes away - a bit more calm, but with perfect access to everything. If travelling by bus, it is perfectly located to reach both bus stations - 3 minutes of a steep downhill walk for one, and some 5-7 minutes straight walk on a nearby street to reach the bus that goes to the caves. There was both coffee maker and bottled water provided.
