Pros: very helpful staff, everything very cosy and comfortable, felt like being at home
Pros: If you want a central location for visiting Würzburg, Rothenburg, Dinkelsbühl stay here! We had planned on a two day stay. My husband became ill and we needed to extend our stay to visit a local Doctor. That turned out to be good thing! I’m ever so grateful that we chose Hotel Alexa! Bad Mergentheim is a charming Town, the locals are friendly and accommodating. The Hotel Alexa is not only beautiful, the facilities are excellent, the food in the restaurant was phenomenal. The Schultz family treated us with care, dignity and respect. We left feeling that we made friends. We will return on our next trip. I highly recommend Hotel Alexa.
Pros: Large room - good breakfast- silent Place- nice Lobby
Cons: No reception After 8 pm - but Organized check in with security code box
Pros: Good breakfast, very clean rooms, good free parking, pleasant staff. Quiet. Wi-fi available but make sure you get the code when booking in as reception closes at 20.00 hours.
Cons: Reception closes at 20.00 hours and the place felt a bit dead but we did sleep very well.

Pros: Size of room and food in restaurant
Cons: WiFi is low speed or low signal or both
Pros: Dinner was lovely. Effort made by one of the bad men to serve us a late tea was exceptional. Beds were very comfortable. Spacious room.
Cons: Room was not ready when we arrived and even later. However the staff made every effort to make up and even gave us a bottle of wine at checkout - a very nice touch.
Pros: The atmosphere , friendly staff and good food
Pros: hi - the staff at the restaurant were responsive but quite curt and not very forthcoming with choices available, this was at dinner. Breakfast was amazing and the lady who was on duty was so nice!
Cons: just that at dinner the waiter - maybe due to lack of English didn't really explain the choices so we ended up guessing what was good and it didn't work out for me.
Pros: Breakfast was very goog compared to its economical price. Receptionist lady was helpfull. Restaurant foods were delicious. Parking area is huge and free.
Cons: When we requested extra pillows for the bed and the internet password, we did not receive either.

Pros: Great location. Nice staff. Will go again no problem.
Cons: Parking small, better to reserve your place.
Pros: Lovely small hotel in convenient location.
Pros: The staff was very welcoming. No one speaks English, but my German was sufficient. The room was very large. There is no airconditioning, so we had to sleep with the windows wide open due to the summer heat, but it is on a quiet street so that wasn't really a problem. The bathroom is very nice, with a large walk-in shower and modern fixtures. Generous German breakfast buffet.
Cons: No A/C, which in years past may not have been an issue, but Europe was experiencing a heatwave when we were there. A fan would have been nice, but I did not ask for one, so it may have been available.
Pros: Lovely hotel in a central location. The room was spotlessly clean and for a single, huge. Breakfast was good, the standard cheese & ham but really well done. Staff were welcoming and I had an excellent stay.
Cons: Nothing totally recommended.
Pros: Location was good
Cons: They completely overlooked our important request for secure car space although they acknowledged we had requested it. Tourists travelling in cars with suitcases need this facility.
Pros: A really good place to stay when riding the romantic Strasse route
The Best Western Premier Parkhotel Bad Mergentheim offers 116 elegantly furnished rooms and suites, overlooking the park, balcony or loggia. Free parking is available. Hotel amenities include Park Restaurant with international exquisite cuisine, eleven conference rooms for up to 500 people, indoor pool, sauna and beauty salon.
Pros: Location within the park surrounds is beautiful. We often would walk around the park to a cafe and spent a lot of time outside. Very nice.
Cons: The hotel interior design is a little dated, but still nice. The property description on booking.com stated guests will be “spoilt for choice” with the hotels 3 restaurants. This was false. There is only 1 restaurant and we only could choose the buffet dinner that was available. Very disappointing, considering there are no other restaurants within easy walking distance.
Pros: Quiet hotel, many facilities, friendly staff
Cons: The hotel only has a limited amount of free parking spots so consider the Eur6 reserved spots or public parking (Eur5 between 08.00-18.00). Also mind the fact that a la carte dinner can only be booked for 8pm or later if there’s a buffet (which starts at 6 and is popular).
Pros: Good and clean room, good breakfast.
Cons: No air conditioner, the pillows were not comfortable.
Pros: Great location
Cons: No air conditioning
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Hot rooms, uncomfortable pilows, needs a fresh up

Pros: Breakfast was very good Location in the old town
Cons: Bed was too small (both nog long enough and not width enough) Room was warm and opening window was no option because of the noice in the street at night
Pros: Nice staff and clean!
Cons: The wifi codes stopped working and you have to keep checking for new wifi codes.
Pros: In general it was a nice short stay
Cons: Parking is very limited and the breakfast wasn't renewed enough even though we were 30 min before the end of it.
Pros: The hotel is very close to the city centre and is very clean. At the beginning there was a miunderstanding on the resevation, but we got a free upgrade of the room, without even asking, very appreciated.
Cons: To increase the level of comfort the rooms could be equipped with a better heating system. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional.
Pros: Booked a Single Business Room and what I got exceeded my expectations. First of all, Bad Mergentheim is one of the most wonderful cities in Germany. Stadthotel Miya is on it's end the best hotel in the city. Spacious clean room/bathroom. All amenities included and in top-shape. Absolutely NO warm water issues, which are met in other facilities, wonderful and surprisingly quiet location, just 3 minutes away from the train station and 5 minutes away from downtown and the park. The staff is smiling and always helpful even via phone, no matter how late it is. I haven't checked out the restaurant and the breakfast, but they also seemed good. Price/Quality rate is perfect - a definate Must-Return!

Pros: - great breakfast - nice staff - clean rooms
Cons: - short beds
Pros: Bed was comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Friendly staff, restraint food very good.
Cons: No fridge in room or fan.As a big tea drinker the biggest disappointment was no kettle. Remote location so nowhere to really walk to.
Pros: there is a nice restaurant in 30m, with a indoor grape yard. The hotel's own restaurant is also ok. breakfast is ok, scrambled egg & bacon is the best! the room is nice & quiet.
Cons: yes, the hotel is very old, but it still can looks clean, maybe change the lights first?

It lies 50 metres from the marketplace and 300 metres from the famous Deutschordenschloss castle. Lying in a quiet side street, the Hotel Deutschmeister offers spacious, tastefully furnished rooms, which can be easily reached via a lift. Most overlook the quiet inner courtyard. Look forward to a delicious, complimentary breakfast buffet each morning in the Mediterranean-style breakfast room. The Deutschmeister is ideally located for exploring this picturesque spa town and discovering the lovely countryside of the Tauber Valley. Make time to visit Bad Mergentheim's mineral springs, the beautiful spa gardens and, of course, the Deutschordenschloss castle and gardens, once home to the Teutonic Knights.
Pros: This is a beautiful old hotel located very close to the Market Platz. The breakfast is outstanding!
Pros: Friendly owner, clean, comfortable, close to the center
Cons: And the breakfast was fabulous. Excellent service. Super clean rooms with hot showers and the room got plenty warm in the winter. The owner was friendly and upgraded our room. He also got along so well with our 4yo. She still talks about him and misses him! We were slightly early and it was not a problem. Parking was easy and free.
Pros: I liked the area, it's beautiful. The majority of the staff was also nice and friendly. The buffet breakfast was really good. Certain things - tomato, paprika - were missing, nevertheless it was more than satisfactory.
Cons: We arrived there on Saturday around 11 and simply wanted to leave our luggage there. The person at the reception desk was welcoming us with "check-in from 2 only". Then she was pointing to one corner in the next room that we may leave our luggage there. When I said that that place isn't locked - literarly available by any hotel guest - she said, "then leave it in your car and lock there". Finally, she asked us where we parked. We pointed to the hotel parking place for guests. Her "nice" answer was, "move you car away from the first parking spot!" - actually, we parked on the second one. It wasn't a good introduction by the hotel. Interestingly, the same person was nice when we paid the bill in the end of our stay.
Pros: Great location and some staff members were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. WiFi very good and shower clean and strong.
Cons: The room was a little small and lacked a little style.
Pros: Friendly reception. Great breakfast. Modern character

Cons: No parking available. Had to park away from the property and pay a fee for parking.
Pros: Spa. Spacious room.
Pros: The location was great, we were able to walk to and from the train station easily. We were exhausted from traveling so having a hot shower and comfortable beds were much appreciated. We were so close to everything we could wander around while I showed my sister the charming town I studied in a few years ago. The next morning, we enjoyed the amazing breakfast that provided a ton of great options.
Pros: Wonderful little hotel in the heart of the Altstadt in the beautiful spa town of Bad Mergentheim. Close to the castle area and a fantastic museum, there are some beautiful squares, parks and places to eat. There is a small amount of parking in a small enclosed garage beneath the hotel, but we parked out on a nearby street, which was easy enough to do and were still able to load and unload right by the hotel. Breakfast was in the traditional German buffet style with hot dishes available on request. Rooms were amazing! Fantastic furnishings and a huge bathroom. Great fun to stay in and the prices, being away from the bigger tourist spots, were one of the best value for money spots we had all trip. Loved it.
Pros: value for momey is ok for this price nice spa area with sauna (no swimming only whirl pool for 8€) good dinner and breakfast (lokal food tasted good - no pizza and gyros tourist food)
Pros: The central location
Cons: The car park was full so had to park in a public site. Some light bulbs didn't work. No hooks in the small bathroom. The bedroom was small. It was one of those hotels where sound travels and therefore doors closing and voices were intrusive. The breakfast room was busy and therefore we had to sit with another very nice couple. Drinks and evening meal were not chargeable to the room.

Pros: Reasonable price
Cons: Shower equipment inside the room was not good to use. No plug in bath-tab.
Pros: spa is free breakfast is okay
