The Hampton Inn Taos hotel in New Mexico is 2.5 miles south of the Central Plaza area and across the street from South Side Convention Center. The Hampton Inn Taos hotel features 71 rooms, some equipped with a whirlpool bath. All guest rooms include a coffeemaker, hair dryer and 25 inch TV with cable. Guests can request connecting rooms and deluxe rooms with a micro-fridge. We have an elevator, indoor pool and a meeting room for up to 20 people. Our hotel amenities include complimentary hot breakfast and complimentary high-speed internet access throughout the hotel. A guest laundromat is available for a nominal fee. Pros (+) Best use of space in a medium budget hotel
Cons (-) Breakfast was fairly skimpy. The pineapple was canned I'm sure. The batter for the waffles was pretty awful. It produces waffles that tasted like chalk and which fell apart in a cloud of dust! They had the famous (infamous) cheese omelet things and the bean burritos both of which I passed on. Coffee was very good.
