Cons (-) Keeping in mind the new COVID 19 health guidelines, I was very surprised to see that the hotel was lacking hand sanitizer anywhere in the common areas. They only had 3 floors open, which we were not made aware of prior to booking. Pros (+) Views of the water
Cons (-) Room was aged and in need of multiple upgraded. Shelving in closet was plywood that had been painters, visible splintering. Room did not have hot water when I arrived. Sink did not drain well. Bed had a literal indentation where people sleep- in need of replacement! AC controls were difficult to work, buttons broken and require multiple pushes for small changes.

Pros (+) Enjoyed the two restaurants in the hotel. Nice pool, but difficult to get to.
Cons (-) Lobby could have been designed better on the first floor and not on the second floor.

Pros (+) Beautiful hotel. The man at the front desk could not have been nicer. I couldn't find my contact solution and he actually offered to go to the drugstore and get some for me ! What a great feeling and generous act of kindness.

Pros (+) Loved how close the hotel is to all of downtown area including the channelside area , river walk, and ybor city. Rooms were very comfortable. Staff went above and beyond to Make my friends and me comfortable during our stay. Restaurant's breakfast was good and we loved that there were two great bars and restaurants we adjacent to the hotel.
Cons (-) The hotel is in the midst of a renovation so some areas were noticeably not finished. The doors in our rooms would stick a little and we had to yank to open and slam to close. Pros (+) The place was nice and weather was beautiful. Hotel room was spacious and clean. The view was wonderful and we didn't turn on the TV once because of the view and watching the cruise ships leave the harbor.

Pros (+) Clean with the usual Westin standard amenities.
Cons (-) The staff was mediocre at best, making you feel unimportant. This was a festival weekend but they allowed themselves to be lazy instead of working extra hard to please the customer. No attempt to accommodate room requests. Seemed like they hired temps from the holiday inn or something.
