Cons: It was a little far from town/beach but the walk wasn't bad.
Pros: The welcome was very friendly and helpful, the room very clean and a decent breakfast. A short walk from the centre of town and the main beach, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Bed was really comfortable and location of Hôtel was excellent
Cons: Shower in bathroom... no curtain, had to sit in the bath to use. Not a huge range for breakfast
Pros: Historic hotel with friendly owner
Pros: A lovely historical hotel in the middle of dinar close to bars/ restaurants & the beach
Pros: Very friendly owners. Couldn’t do enough to help
Cons: No holder for shower head in one of the bedrooms. Not a major problem but just inconvenient
Pros: Lovely host so welcoming lovely room with balcony and a very good breakfast
Pros: Very central At a quiet corner Great staff Old building with a lot of charme
Cons: Some bits could do with renovation. But the imperfections are forgiven for all the character
Pros: Host exceptionally helpful; good location for the town.
Cons: Parking a challenge; hotel a little "tired".
Pros: Hotel Altaire is an old hotel of the Belle Époque period. It was quaint, charming, but tired! The staff, ie the owner was charming and very helpful.
Cons: There was nowhere to park! We had to search for a place and ended up at a spot near the marketplace, a kilometre away.
Pros: Location is brilliant And the whole hotel is nice And clean. Can recommend!

Pros: Staff were lovely. Beautiful house . Brilliant location

Pros: Location, history and quality
Pros: We loved the location, the room, the historic building, the welcoming hosts and delicious breakfast.
Cons: The hotel would have been better if it had a restaurant, but we knew it hadn't got one when we booked.
A stay at Hôtel Barrière Le Grand Hôtel Dinard places you in the heart of Dinard, a 1-minute drive from Dinard Beach and 14 minutes from Sillon Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: Staff were extremely he Lpful
Cons: Pool a little cold
Pros: Fantastic location and beautiful view over the water. Great to be able to walk all over Dinard and down to the ferry. The hotel has been beautifully renovated.
Cons: Overall staff were not proactive. Breakfast was uninspiring and chaotic at best - pre-prepared scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, crepes and waffles sat in containers that were supposed to keep the food hot but they were only ever luke warm. Limited selection of fresh fruit that was always hard and uninviting. Order an omelette or fried eggs directly from the chef as soon as you arrive as it can take a while to get served. No informal dining in the evening other than room service. Parking at the hotel is expensive so park offsite instead.
Pros: Staff amazing
Pros: Very kind Staff with a great sense of service. We had a beautiful room with balcony and view to the port o St. Malo. Certainly an expensive place, but worth each penny.
Cons: No space in the car park ! And attitude of the manager towards me when I complained
Pros: Very beautiful great location and very nice and helpful staff
Pros: The bed was luxurious. The decor was stylish. The bathroom was a treat. High end spa facilities.
Cons: In the spa- access to the swimming pool. The gate was too complicated. Children with large inflatables made pool less enjoyable. The pool was a main factor in our choice of this hotel. Better monitoring of pool loungers. Some were left with towels on them but not used- so there were not enough and guests had to use the wet poolside. Again spa- better organisation of hanging robes for steam and sauna rooms. Room key was in gown pocket and so vulnerable to being lost.
Pros: Newly refurbished, super clean and great service
Le Royal Emeraude is a charming hotel situated in the heart of Dinard, a legendary seaside resort since the Roaring Twenties. Just a short walk from the casino and the famous Écluse beach, relive the splendor of the Belle Epoque during your stay and enjoy a swim in the sea or a moonlit walk. This charming hotel has been entirely renovated and is fully air conditioned, welcoming you in a relaxing and comfortable setting that has been inspired by travel. Pets are not allowed.
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Shower cable very short - can’t be hooked up
Pros: Excellent hotel, great location, room 105 was perfect for watching people come and go at the film festival. Good there was private parking.
Cons: It wasn’t very obvious at breakfast the ‘express’ and the other option.
Pros: Near the sea
Cons: No coffee facilities in befroom
Pros: Location could not be better and the staff were lovely.
Pros: Great location just a few steps from the beach and close to lots of restaurants. I particularly liked the cruise-liner style bathroom and all the lovely Clarins products provided. Extremely helpful and friendly receptionist (Emanuel) gave us a very warm welcome on arrival.
Cons: Our room felt very dark, probably because the walls were painted dark brown. In general the hotel feels a little old fashioned.
Pros: Breakfast excellent with plenty of choice; particularly liked the smoked salmon! The location near the beach couldn't have been better.
Cons: There were two downsides. one was the wind which rattled the window shutters and the flag poles at the front of the hotel and gave us two or three sleepless nights. The other was the cinema opposite the front of the hotel which was packed every day with hundreds of school children/ students who were very noisy. This may have been because of the approaching English Language Film Festival? It occurred more than once each day.
Pros: The location was great it was easy to find parking. The front desk suggested a couple of restaurants for dinner that were an easy walk. The breakfast was wonderful!!
Cons: It is always nice to have a dining room at the hotel.
Pros: Beautiful boutique hotel -- rooms ample in size -- beds very comfortable -- Clarins toiletry products! Hotel staff were lovely, helpful, courteous. We didn't partake of the breakfast, but the dining room/bar looked very fabulous (next time!). You couldn't ask for a better location -- literal steps away from the Plage de l'Ecluse. Weekend night revelers could be heard from outside, but the quiet was much improved when we closed the window, so not a problem. Dinard is a charming jewel on the aptly named Emerald Coast. We had a lovely stay.
Cons: Really, no complaints. Even the beds were comfortable, which is never a guarantee in any hotel. We slept very well. I suppose the option of an evening turn down service (mints on the pillow sort of thing) would be a wonderful extra, but that's just a small suggestion.

Pros: Flor& Pierre made us feel very welcome and helped with restaurant recommendations etc. Our room was clean & bright with modern fittings. Easy walking into Dinard, the town, beach & market.
Cons: The buffet breakfast was the same each day so a little variety would be good when you stay more than a couple of days.
Pros: Great location . Close to the centre , beaches , restaurants , bars etc.... Very quiet too . Fantastic buffet for breakfast .
Pros: The hotel is only 10-15 mins from the beach and main restaurant area, so very convenient. Breakfast is absolutely adequate - fresh pastries, breads, cheese and meats, cereals. Juice and Tea/Coffee available. The room for 3 of us was perfect. Plenty of space for our clothes. Good Shower. Personally love the decor throughout.

Pros: We visited for my wife’s birthday. The staff were very helpful, the room was really comfortable.
Pros: Stayed several times in the past - still same high standard
Pros: We were very happy with the location and the breakfast was excellent.
Pros: Excellent choice. Patisserie were particularly good. And the coffee! Very good.
Cons: The shower in the disabled room I had - Antony Marshall 102 I think the room was - had no seat and no curtains etc to limit spread of water. Making slipping a real potential problem
Pros: Staff welcoming, clean friendly environment. Close to amenities.
Pros: Staff pleasant and helpful. Very good location for town and beach. Quiet. Clean
Cons: Would have liked breakfast to have been included in the price. Additional 11 euros seemed a lot for the simple continental breakfast offered
Relax at Thalassa Dinard and contemplate the Bay of St Malo. Enjoy the comfort of your room with sea view or facing parking/garden. Whether for a weekend or a week, for two or the family, bask in plenty of light, surrounded by warmth and attention. Discover the tides from the Albatros Bar or the O'Sens restaurant. Breathe in!
Pros: The receptionist went out of her way to surprise my fiancee with a birthday cake. We really appreciated that, also allowing us to store our luggage as we came early, really great staff the girls were great.
Cons: Honestly can't think of anything negative
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Remote for tv not working the heated towel rail not working the hairdryer was sparking and the noise all night of lorries from a nearby construction site kept me awake all night. Dont have a room overlooking the road.
Pros: Location Spa and hamman Treatments Lovely and discreet staff
Cons: Slightly limited parking The late night reception staff didn’t open the gate when we rang at circa 2300 No dedicated shower: it is shared with the bath
Pros: The ambience of the hotel and the facilities were really very good and we loved all the outside terraces and the art was very interesting. The staff were friendly and helpful and knew their jobs. The Thalassa was very good and relaxing.
Cons: We were in a beautiful room situated on the top floor which unfortunately was too hot to sleep properly. The Dyson fan was a little helpful but not enough. We would like to revisit the hotel for longer but would not want one of those rooms.
Pros: Superb hotel in a fantastic location. Staff, food and facilities were all excellent! Looking forward to returning!
Pros: Relaxed feel. Spa facilities are great and good size pool for a swim. Location also good for a coastal windy walk
Cons: The room was strangely laid out, but we reorganised a bit
Pros: Loved the seawater swimming pool
Cons: Not being offered table/tap water in restaurant thought they did bring it when pressed
Pros: The bed was superb even better than home
Cons: The food was quite pricey and selection could be improved
Pros: The view.

Pros: 24 hour reception and helpful staff, nice eating room.
Cons: all ok
Pros: Great location and very comfortable bed. Becky gave us a warm welcome at reception and was good company serving our drinks. Breakfast fine. Everything was very clean. Very good value stay and big car park.
Cons: No evening meal cooked in the Hotel. We went out. Shower in room 201 very cramped because of the sloping ceiling.
Pros: Silent and very clean room Good hairdryer Free parking Welcome tea or coffee Nice bar/lounge area Professional and kind staff The hotel is near by the airport and La Richardais where you can find a nice bistrot and a chemistry
Cons: A bit difficult to find the right street to get there,GPS is needed Low lighting in the room is chic but sometimes not so useful No lift
Pros: Very clean and comfortable room.
Cons: I made the mistake of thinking 'restaurant' meant 'food available'. However, only breakfast was available during my stay (there is a hot drink station in the foyer). Eat before you arrive - bringing food into your room is forbidden.
Pros: The location is convenient to the surrounding areas we were visiting. The staff were friendly and helpful. A cute place for the budget we had. The bar lounge/outside deck area is nice when watching the sky change colors over the water in the mornings.
Cons: We left out the Do Not Disturb sign on our door when we would leave during the day, however, the room was still entered and cleaned. We never brought it up to the staff though, but everything else was fine.
Pros: Reception staff were excellent. English was perfect. Laura made us feel especially welcome and is an asset to the hotel. Nice location for both Dinard and St. Malo with a good view of the Rance.
Cons: There is no restaurant. There is no chef so there are some "meals" in a jar that you can heat in the microwave. No food allowed in the rooms, only real option is to eat out which involves driving.
Pros: Comfortable bed and close to ferry
Cons: No food available at restaurant so had to drive to get something to eat after travelling all day
Pros: Everything. Staff 1st class.
With a stay at Restaurant Hotel Didier Méril in Dinard, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Grand Aquarium and Prieure Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage.
Pros: Great position
Cons: Don’t stay in room 3, you can’t sit on the toilet, the shower room is so small and very noisy at night. We were two couples so nowhere to sit and relax or have drinks before supper
Pros: What a WONDERFUL spot! I wished we were staying longer!! Access to the beach and the sea was so easy. We ate int he resteraunt and this was an experience! Gorgeous food and excellent service. We will certainly be returning here!!
Cons: We had selected a small room and it WAS small. Might be worth paying a little more for one of the bigger spaces. However, having said that, the space was well used and it was still a beautiful room!
Pros: Appropriate location
Cons: Outrageously overpriced for lack of clean and undersized rooms overlooking restaurant roof and kitchen fumes!
Pros: A little limited at breakfast but otherwise excellent. I would happily book again.
Pros: Location and ease of getting to Dinard airport
Cons: The room was rather small although the design was clever and it was very clean. The food was very good but didn’t rate it’s high prices. We had to leave at 7.15 am in the morning but were not able to have anything for breakfast which started at 8.00 am. We felt something could have been offered as French breakfasts are relatively simple. On arrival we also felt the manager or maybe he was the owner was not particularly friendly although his attitude improved as we indulge in one of his more expensive menus for dinner.
Pros: Food, wine, bedroom
Cons: One step on the stairs. Lovely stairs. Lovely bannister but doesn't inspire confidence.
Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent (by one of the beaches in Dinard and within walking distance of the old town) and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was very chic and had a brilliant view of the beach. The breakfasts were of a high standard.
Cons: There were two pop up bars on the beach on the Saturday and Sunday night of our seven day stay - the music was very loud and continued until 2.30 in the morning. On the second night I complained and the staff did try to ask the bar to turn the music down. The hotel gave us our breakfasts for free on the final day, which I don’t believe was adequate compensation for two nights of disturbed sleep, especially given the price of the rooms. The back of the hotel, which you use to get to the beach, looks a little unloved. If we left any food out in our room, we were visited by ants! There is limited public parking outside the hotel but it is always busy. Cars come and go frequently but we did need to wait half an hour once for a space. Parking in Dinard in general is difficult.
Cons: The double room was very small. The restaurant meal was very expensive. Staff a little rude. No where to sit to enjoy a bottle of wine.
Pros: Small and intimate in a great location. Dinner at the Restaurant was amazing.
Pros: The room was so delightful. Small but stylish, clean and so very comfortable. It was exactly what I needed, privacy and easy access to the beautiful promenade for long walks — and close to the centre -ville.
Located in Dinard, Le Crystal Dinard Plage is on the boardwalk, within a 15-minute walk of Casino Barriere de Dinard and Port of Dinard. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: gorgeous view of the sea
Pros: Excellent manageress. Bed uncomfortable due to broken springs. Would prefer duvet rather than sheet and blankets. Wonderful view from private terrace. Very walk via the beach into Dinard.
Pros: The location, the view from balcony & good breakfast, helpful staff
Cons: The room & bathroom was smaller than expected, the photos on internet do the rooms more justice, very small bar area & only open till 8.30 pm
Pros: Location and views from the room.
Cons: Not much choice for breakfast. Reception not manned all the time, slowing up our departure.
Pros: Location on beach and central
Cons: Uphill by road
Cons: Bathroom a bit cramped and the shower tray leaked onto bathroom floor, also noise from traffic at front of hotel, so couldn’t leave window open at night
Pros: Very quirky, very French. Bathroom a little dated - like your mother's bathroom in the seventies (!) but very clean and comfortable. Lovely view of beach from bedroom and superbly situated for Dinard centre for restaurants/shops. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking available in public carpark across the road. Very handy for boat to UK and Ireland and would use again,
Cons: There wasn't really anything we didn't like. The breakfast at 12 euros was adequate - perhaps a freshly baked croissant rather than supermarket fare could be included for this price. Apart from that - all fine.
Pros: Very prompt helpful and polite service, well organised and a very clean and tidy modernised hotel
Pros: Cleanliness. Beds and towels changed very frequently and room was kept tidy without any inconvenience. Helpful advice given when required.
Cons: Breakfast a bit pricey.... but Dinard itself is now an expensive town for meals and snacks. Did not have a car but parking charges are steep for those who drive.
Pros: Good breakfast. Helpful receptionist who advised me where to eat in town and provided map.
Cons: no complaints
Pros: The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, hotel was in a fanstastic position - overlooking the sea.
Pros: Loved everything about it. The welcome, beautiful room with balcony and fabulous view. Immaculately clean. Great breakfasts. Superb location.
Pros: Situation excellent..hotel was smack on the beach....a lift took us from our floor to within yards of the promenade.Closeness to Dinard airport meant car unnecessary for our 5 day break...lots of nearby walks and restaurants(.Bedroom had an excellent and large double bed and cotton sheets.)
Cons: Our street view room was a fair size but rather dark (despite clever and plentiful use of mirrors )and a little noisy at night.Very small bathroom and toilet....no good for big tall people!
Pros: Breakfast was excellant
Pros: Lift down to beach, good location, sea side rooms have balconies
Cons: Rooms facing the street can be noisy
Cons: Soundproofing is very poor. Shower is poor and ineffective

When you stay at Hotel de la Vallee in Dinard, you'll be next to a golf course, within a 15-minute drive of St. Malo Citadel and St. Vincent Cathedral. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
Pros: View and ambience
Cons: Staff (receptionist on second morning) a little abrupt
Pros: The setting. The sound of the tide in the night. The friendly staff
Cons: Coffee and tea making facilities in the room would have made it easier to enjoy the balcony.
Pros: Location Clean Balcony
Cons: Very expensive No tea/coffee making facilities Hardly any toiletries provided
Pros: Such a nice location.
Pros: Clean , great location
Cons: Very small rooms even when upgraded Paper thin rooms , you could hear every toilet flush in the hotel. Very pricey for three day stay
Pros: Our view of the100 yachts in St Malo/Dinard Bay was magnificent. Access to St Malo via shuttle boat was perfect. Corner Room 201 had a wonderful breeze during very humid days.
Pros: The location
Cons: The kitchen was close for our 3 days staying, nobody tells us that before we came. 15euros for a very poor breakfast. One person was present in that hôtel to cover for everything. Very bad expérience
Pros: Staff good, location excellent Food excellent
Cons: One power socket only in room Hotel effectively closed at 7pm on the Tuesday couldn’t buy a drink or a snack

Located in Dinard, Hotel Amethyste is by the ocean, within a 15-minute walk of Dinard Beach and Pointe de la Malouine. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage.
Pros: Staff were friendly, bed was comfortable
Cons: Breakfast was basic continental with limited choice which in itself wasn't a problem but not worth £9 a head.
Pros: The location was good.
Cons: In serious need of a refresh. Grubby walls and sofa, chipped beds and cupboards. Old musty smell. Dark stairs with grubby outlook, Very disappointed
Cons: Stayed for a much needed rest and to visit St Enogat as this place had some wonderful memories and is a beautiful place. However I unfortunately left my passport in the drawer of the room. On the morning of the flight ( gate closed at 9.25) I went to back to the hotel. The staff were adamant that the passport could not be in the room as it had been cleaned. Had to wait until guest in room had got up to determine if passport was in room. It was. So much for ‘cleaning the room’ . Had to pay for another flight. I realise it was my fault however staff not at all helpful in this matter. Shame as I love the place.
Pros: How central it was to everything ie beach, bars & restaurants. The hotel was easy to find.
Cons: For the price there was nothing to dislike.
Pros: Basic hotel but met our needs
Pros: Receptionist was very helpful
Cons: The bed was very short even though it was a king size in width Lack of Kettle / Coffee
Pros: Staff friendly. Room clean.
Cons: Up 3 floors, no lift. Initial booking said they had parking. They sent an email before arrival to say there was only public patking pn street, but too late to change. All was paid for. Breakfast bad value. Come to Ireland for a good breakfast.
Cons: Facilities were a bit basic
