The unique Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel combines a reverence for the history of St. Augustine with the modern day luxuries and amenities guests expect in a Hilton. The hotel's intimate size and feel are reminiscent of a boutique hotel, and yet it offers the extensive services and facilities that are usually found only in much larger hotels. The charming, vibrant Spanish Colonial Period structure consists of a "hollow square" design, in this case, 19 different buildings set around an inner courtyard and connected by an interior corridor. The buildings were inspired by the Second Spanish Colonial historic period, with wooden balconies, cedar-shake & tile roofs, with different elevations and colors that allow it to blend in with its surroundings. Virtually all Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel rooms offer stunning views of Matanzas Bay or the city of St. Augustine's historic district. Situated in the Historic District of "America's Oldest City", the Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel is within walking distance to many of the area's finest restaurants and most popular attractions. Horse drawn carriages and the Historic Trolley transport visitors from the hotel through the streets of the old city. Historical points of interest include the Spanish Colonial Castillo de San Marco National Monument, dating from 1672, the original Government House and the magnificent Victorian structures of the period built by Henry Flagler including Flagler College formerly his grand hotel. The hotel’s facilities include an outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, business center, concierge service and a guest laundry and valet service. The Menendez and Ponce rooms, 800 square feet each or 1600 square feet when combined, can accommodate meetings of up to 125 people or of banquets up to 100. The 250 square foot Board Room can accommodate 12 and offers views of the bay. The Aviles restaurant and Lounge within the Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel features creative global cuisine with touches from the region surrounding Aviles, the sister city of St. Augustine in Spain. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and diner and includes an outdoor dining area. Be our guest at Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel and "Experience History from our Point of View". Travel should take you places!

Cons: Pool is tiny but this is beachfront location. We didn't even consider using it. A hot tub would be a much better investment. The smell of cigarette smoke from the public parking lot between the lodge and the beach had us enjoying the view behind closed patio doors at times. Certainly not in the control of the management. Request second floor room if this is a concern.

Cons: The breakfast was good but I felt there was not enough help for the one women serving. Not only did she have to serve by herself but she also had to go get the heavy bins of food in the kitchen when food ran out! She had no one to help her! She was doing the job of 3 people! That women deserves a huge raise!

Pros: The position and the neatness of the rooms and the grounds.
Cons: My main problem which is a constant problem for me is there is next to no options for gluten and dairy free breakfast items. Some GF toast, DF eggs and bacon would be great with almond milk for coffee, that would make a huge difference to my stay.

Pros: Location, upper deck to view water; breakfast was satisfactory for the start of the day. Had some hot items and few people were eating when we were so it was quiet. Was able to get the room cool for sleeping.
Cons: our room was hidden near the stairs -- room was comfortable but it was dark and hard to get light into the room. Didn't spend much time there, however. Agree with others that the coffee could be better

Pros: The bed was comfortable. They had directv. The had breakfast options but not many healthy ones.
Cons: The toilet was leaking and running all night we woke up to toilet water all over the bathroom floor. They had the service room doors open everywhere. I know they do laundry and clean but I don't need to be standing by the door waiting for the elevator hearing the staff talking trash while they are folding sheets or seeing shelves of supplies as I accidentally turn the wrong way off the elevator. The pool was disgusting. There was cigarette butts everywhere and so many bugs in the pool I couldn't enjoy being in the water.

Pros: The room was big and modern. Loved the smoothies at breakfast.

Pros: We love the view of the bay from the balcony. Also the close proximity to the walking area.
Cons: I do not like having to pay for parking my vehicle when I am already paying for a room.

Pros: Great location, comfy bed, clean.
Cons: Shower was so small, and low water pressure made it hard to rinse my shampoo out of my hair. The running water fountain in front of my room was an annoying noise all night long.

Cons: Paying for parking. My confirmation stated my total would be $330.00 but they added $15 for parking... I’ve stayed at same hotel every year for anniversary... 32 yrs.... never had to pay for parking. Won’t be back. Sherry at front desk was rude when I questioned charges

Pros: The location is wonderful. Across the street from the waterfront and 1 block from St. George Street.
Cons: Slightly musty smell when we first walked in even though the room was newly decorated.

Pros: Having stayed at this hotel location as recommended by a friend in the past, the location is absolutely AMAZING for being in St. Augustine. Parking availability at the hotel makes it worth every penny as you can walk to almost anywhere from the hotel.
Cons: I have stayed in this hotel once before and will definitely stay again but next time I may bring a swiffer wet mop for the floor. Upon exiting the shower with barely damp feet, the floors were very dirty to the point of leaving foot tracks in the room.

The maid was working next door to our room, and as we were leaving around 9:30am we politely asked if we were next, she said “yes yours is next”. 4 hours later around 1:30pm we noticed her just a few doors down from us and our room hadn’t been cleaned. When we asked if she could service it now and how long it would take, she responded “well what do y’all even need?” My mother in law got a little frustrated and just asked for fresh towels and toilet paper and ended up taking the trash out her self. I normally would highly recommend Holiday Inn hotels, but the service at this one was just a little to off putting for me.

Pros: The property was clean and in a great location.
Cons: As soon as we enter the room and check the bathroom the toilet was clot and with a smell, upon calling the reception we were told to come and get the plunger and do it, I don’t mind doing it but we didn’t even had a chance to use the facilities in the first place and we treated with absolutely no hospitality “Toilet not working come here now and get the tools, no body here to help”. Until 3:45 am we could heard very loud and vivid quest on the second floor arguing and talking and with music, we had to call once more for the front desk to do something about the noise. Horrible night!.

7,1 Good
Pros: Close to everything downtown. Beds were comfy enough. Infinite super hot water.
Cons: No free breakfast. Paint chipping in room.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location is perfect. A quick walk in either direction leads to amazing sites such as Fountain of Youth or the Csstillo de St. Marco.
Cons: We stayed at this hotel a few weeks before this visit and it was amazing. The room was updated. This trip we were given a room that was not updated (sink had cracks). While it was clean, it was not as nice as the previous room. Also, the parking lot lights on the north side were shining in our window. Even with the blinds shut, 3:00 a.m. looked like noon.

Pros: We only stayed for one night to get our heads down between driving so I cannot comment on all the facilities, however the room was clean and comfortable (walls are maybe a little thin as you can hear when people talk or laugh in neighboring rooms). Location was great and staff were very welcoming.
