Cons: No elevators, ice machines were far away (downstairs, around the corner and behind the building), shower only

Cons: Housekeeper showed up at 8:30am!! We miss you seed it every day we were there. Check out is 11, why is housekeeping coming so early when we're sleeping?!

Cons: The location was a bit out of the way. We like to walk everywhere so it was a bit of a walk to get to the "old town" section of St. Augustine, maybe a two mile walk?? If you don't like walking a taxi ride is inexpensive, about $8.00 one way from the hotel to the "old town", we chose this mode of transportation at night.

Cons: The window air conditioner was old and so loud we had to put pillows over our heads to try and sleep. It really didn't work. We went to the office and complained but were told there was nothing they could do. Because of that we would not go back.

Cons: Walls are thin. Room next door had dogs and could be heard all night walking on laminate floor Shower head was broken. More water hit ceiling than me.

Cons: It is hidden. Not all GPS apps have address and no road signs to hotel.

Cons: It was not easy to find, the doors are very thin, you can hear your neighbors talking. The breakfast area was so packed we had to leave and go back to our room, since there a limited amount of seats.

Cons: I was constructively evicted from my hotel room on the third day due to a bug infestation. The front desk didn't have any other rooms available and suggested that I check-out of my room if I didn't like the conditions. Management refused to address the bug infestation, and the front desk hung up on me. I was forced to checkout and find alternate hotel arrangements. The Regency Inn & Suites is dirty, rundown and poorly maintained. I would avoid staying at this hotel at all costs. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in an effort to help others avoid the circumstances I found myself in.

Cons: The carpet was stained , right when walking in the door. The tub was dirty on the bottom, the chalk around the inside top of tub was moldy, the sink faucet was dirty covered in white iodized looking stuff. (These things lacked a magic eraser.) The bottom of the toilet, (the part from the floor up to the botton of the toilet seat) was absolutely disgusting...pubic hairs and dust covering it. I was afraid to look for bed bugs directly but I don't think there were any after catching a glimpse accidently. It was very hard to sleep at night because of all the dirty. One may ask why didn't I all for another room or go somewhere else, well....it was during Daytona 500 which the events last two weeks, everything was full. I did call and talk to a manager and she said they had just got a new staff and were spelling to make things better.

Cons: Bad lighting fixtures everywhere. Had to shower with light off because light was strobing and boyfriend has epilepsy. Mirrors on every wall in bathroom were unsettling.

Cons: The room was a bit warm but fantastic otherwise.

Cons: -strong odor in room -blood stain on comforter and other small stains on bedding -stained carpets -all carb breakfast -cramped space for breakfast (too many people) -drunken fight in parking lot -adjacent rooms set up camp outside in walkway (loud, had to walk through smoke, etc)

Cons: Under the door had a cold draft that came through. Otherwise I did not have any issues.

Cons: Cobb webs and what looked like mold on the ceiling. Rooms were very dark as well.

Cons: We didn't like the blow dryer or that we did not have an iron and ironing board in our room. Breakfast would have been better if you had eggs and bacon, and waffles.....

Cons: The free breakfast could use some thoughts put into it , it's all carbs with bananas as the only fruit which was a good menu years ago but people today are more healthy minded . I mean it's free but maybe add some hard boiled eggs and melon pieces ext .

Cons: First room had roaches second left us covered in bedbug bites. Management doesn't care and refused to speak to me. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Cons: They were cleaning the carpets - kudos, but it still left that cleaning carpet smell that was pretty strong.

Cons: The "breakfast" was weak. Basically coffee, juice and muffins. Also, zero cell phone service once in the room.

Cons: The first morning when we came down to get breakfast there was no coffee ready and no place to sit. We went off site for breakfast. Dated pool was over chlorinated and deck was slippery. Don't get me wrong these are very minor issues and we are coming back to stay....

Cons: There was not a security latch on the door and they needed more items for their breakfast.

Cons: The rooms have a very strong Odor. At first it's chemical like a cleaner but then you realize it's wet feet or socks. Breakfast was bad waxing donuts and pastry

Cons: The bedding was not the greatest, old carpet, old paint...just overall very old and needing an update.

Cons: It is old and outdated. Looks like kind of a dump at first. The bathroom desperately needs some renovating. The shower curtain was stained with mildew but was replaced as soon as I requested it. No coffee pot in the room, City Perk is just a mile or so down the road and they have really good coffee.

Cons: thry allowed other guests to scream and curse at all hours. The property was not clean it kept up. Repeated requests were made to unclog the sink. Also, we asked repeatedly for towels without stains. This service should not allow thiis proprietor to advertise less than adequate facilities.

Cons: Very basic. Clean but not updated. No coffee maker in the room and the soap/shampoo is nothing to be desired. Weird lady walking around with a stroller and no baby. Weird.

Cons: I should have known from the moment I stepped into the "lobby" that this was not going to be good...the owner came out from a disgustingly dirty back room. The room was so gross I didn't want to walk barefoot on the carpet. There were ants crawling on the counter, there were two stained, thread-bare towels, and a gross comforter on the bed. I took the comforter off right away, and all that was left was a thin, stained sheet. No blanket, nothing else that I could (or wanted to ) cover up with. This place should be condemned.

Cons: We had to call desk to have fresh sheets put on bed as they had not been changed since last occupant. TV was very old and worn out , color was almost non existent, and remote only half functioned. Beds where worn out. Pillows where flat. Bathroom door had hole in it and lamination was ragged at bottom of door.Cracked tiles on floor and cigarette burns in fiberglass tub. Pillow case had cigarette burn hole. Towels where worn with holes in them. Swimming pool was filthy and needed re surfacing. Generally unusable.Wall lamps looked as though they had survived a few knock down drag out fights and where totally askew. This motel was way too pricey for its condition. It should be closed and remodeled.Press-wood furniture showed signs of flaking at the bottoms indicating a flood at some time. Room had an overall unpleasant smell that we where able to remove with a can of Lysol spray. Close restaurants where far too pricey for the food they served. The one we tried we ordered the Caesar Salad that they attempted to grill! The Romaine lettuce looked like it was putrefied. We did not stay to eat it. The salad was the least expensive item on the menu and was $8.00. Absolutely not worth even that. We used to enjoy our stays in St. Augustine however the city has now installed parking kiosk meters. $6.00 to park for a few hours or $10.00 to park all day. We think we have made our last trip to St Augustine.

Cons: Hotel was dirty and out dated . They never came to clean the room or to restock toilet paper .
